Our holiday home in Cochem is located on the edge of the forest in the Märtscheltbach valley, a five-minute walk from the Schlossberg and market square. It sleeps six guests in three bedrooms (one double bed, two single beds, one bunk bed). There is a living room with leather sofa, TV, games console and desk, a fully equipped kitchen and a guest WC. The dining room with fireplace and the terrace invite you to relax. Perfect for exploring the Reichsburg Castle, Eltz Castle and the Moselle region.

The EIFEL QUARTIER anno 1846 is part of an ensemble of several historic natural stone buildings that have been lovingly restored and give discerning guests a great natural experience right in the heart of the Eifel without having to sacrifice relaxed luxury. The EIFEL QUARTIER is a very individual, original accommodation with a modern pellet stove. It covers two floors and has an electric charging station. We didn't have the heart to tear down Grandma Hilde's house. So we renovated the house for 1 year and got as much charm as possible. Enjoy your own hideaway with a large sun terrace, the old half-timbered but modern facilities. The house is at the narrowest point of Starkenburg, so that you can enjoy the distant view towards the Mosel river and the beautiful Ahringstal. Priceless but nevertheless included: fantastic views over a horse paddock and beyond the Rhine. From here you can start wonderful hikes. In a short time, you're at Johannisberg Castle, Rüdesheim with Drosselgasse, abbey and romantic castles.
