Serene farmhouse surrounded by 14 acres of nature with pond view from your room. Very comfortable tempurpedic queen bed. First floor suite off main house with private entrance and deck with seating. Private attached his and hers bathroom. In room basic kitchenette (mini frig, microwave, keurig). Ideal for those seeking comfort, safety & nature, but 9 miles to Burlington and 5 mins to many restaurants. This is the part of Essex which is in the country, not like the village which is more a city.

Please read all below: We are a 2 bdrm 1 bath bungalow located in Colchester VT, lakefront on the Mallet's Bay portion of Lake Champlain. There is beach access directly across the street for kayaking, sailing, paddle boarding, and sunset watching. We are just a 15 minute drive to Burlington for shopping and dining. There is a small covered porch to sit on and a lake to look out on. We have 2 kayaks and sups. The lake is a bay section so the bottom is muddy, recommend water shoes!

Newly remodeled with a separate entrance to first level of a raised ranch home. Private bathroom, queen sized bed and sitting area. There are down pillows and a down comforter on the bed. Eating area with table and chairs, microwave and fridge. Heated by a gas stove. We are a 10 minute drive to Burlington and a 10 minute walk to Bayside Beach and Park where one can play tennis on lighted courts and swim in Lake Champlain.
