Beachfront holiday rental in Colico

We recently ended our stay at this comfortable apartment. Having already been in Verceia, I already knew that I would have been comfortable as a location with my two young children and my mother who has mobility problems, and this apartment was truly a manna from the sky. No stairs to face downhill or steep climbs to reach the points of interest we were interested in. In fact, it is a short walk from a grocery store, the bar, the lake walk, a small but beautiful beach with a nice sandpit for children already equipped with games to play with the sand, and the village playground. In short, everything is really comfortable including of course also the apartment that is nice, spacious and well maintained, with everything you need and if something is missing, Paolo will definitely make sure to get it. Finally, I spend a few words right on the host, who was really attentive and caring. We'll definitely be back ☺️

Costa was the best AirBnb host we have ever had. Very responsive and Costa even helped jump start our car when the battery died, what a legend. Thank you Costa. The property is brilliant, unbelievable view. Nice local restaurants and the bus stop is right outside. Would 100% recommend.

Welcoming and accommodating hosts, who are willing to adapt to the language of the tourist. Available for information. I would recommned this property.

The place was amazing and very homely. Everything was neat and clean and it seemed like the place was newly renovated. The house is 20 mins walk from varenna , easily accessible by walking or you can book a taxi as well. Nicole was super sweet and amazing. She welcomed us herself and gave us a tour. She also left us notes on what we can see and how to access taxi, book electric bikes etc. overall the stay was very nice and wholesome. Definitely worth the money ❤️

Beautiful, relaxing place to stay with incredible views of the lake… only 25 steps to the water from the property! There have been reviews where the parking was described as difficult but it’s now super easy … the middle spot in a private parking deck right off the road. It’s best to come with a car to get to the nearby towns and restaurants. It’s a short walk from the property to coffee and a market with fresh pastries and pasta. We had a wonderful time here.

Absolutely magical stay in Bellano! The view over Lake Como is breathtaking — truly panoramic — and rivals luxury hotels at a fraction of the cost. Bellano is the perfect base: direct train from Milan (we were even picked up at the station by one of Giovanni’s lovely friends — what a luxurious and warm welcome!), ferries to Varenna, Bellagio & Menaggio, but far less crowded. We were so happy to retreat here after sightseeing. The town has several excellent restaurants within walking distance, and the apartment itself is full of charm, art, and character. Giovanni is an outstanding host — friendly, helpful, and even cooked us the best lasagna we’ve ever had as part of a delicious homemade 4-course meal. He also shared great tips for boat rentals and local dining. Every terrace and window has an unforgettable view. This place had high ratings and still exceeded our expectations. We didn’t want to leave and are already dreaming of returning. A true gem — can’t recommend enough!

Great apartment above Menaggio. The view from the terrace of Lake Como and the mountains is fantastic. The apartment is very cozy and well equipped and is located in a very quiet environment. The center of Menaggio is within walking distance, and there are good hiking opportunities in the immediate vicinity. Georgia Louise responded immediately to inquiries and was very helpful. This place is highly recommended!

Lovely apartment with spectacular view. Friendly and responsive host. Especially liked the extra little things, like additional towels for swimming, and extra adapters for charging devices. Would be happy to come back.

Maria and Paolo where great hosts when we arrived it was pouring rain they offer to pick us up and bring us to the appartment which was so kind and helped with our luggage they knew we were Irish so left David. A Italian beer and some crackers to try along with maps and sightseeing flyers the views are stunning like something out of a magazine , so much to do and see would deff stay here again

Manuele was an amazing host. He sent us so many recommendations and even got us a super good deal on a private boat tour. The place was very nice, roomy, and the pool and are was super nice. Be ready for a decently long walk though if you want to go into the main part of town.

Alessandra was absolutely amazing, not only while we were there, but leading up to our stay. It felt like we made a friend in Italy. She was friendly, communicative, and helpful! The airline lost our bags and she kept checking in to see if we had an update. She truly went above and beyond! The Airbnb was so clean and welcoming! Right across the street from Lake Como! Beautiful area! Would recommend to anyone!

Clean apartment with everything we needed for our trip. Beds were comfty and clean. A short walk to Bellagio (some hills involved FYI in case of mobility issues). Parking was convenient for us too.

Andrea was very responsive all the time. Andrea’s place is beautiful. Very modern and clean and had everything my wife and I needed including an iron, washing machine, and a cool sound system. The kitchen was fully functional as well. The views from the balcony and bedroom are amazing. Just as shown in the pictures. Andrea had many suggestions of things to do and places where to eat that were quite helpful. Our stay was very enjoyable. This place is truly a gem in Lago di Como.

I loved every moment of this stay! They've thought of everything. We had a short stay but we didn't want to leave! The place is very cozy, we spent the day playing, barbecuing and then watching movies! The town is also very nice and there are restaurants, bars, supermarkets nearby! We would definitely come back! It was a very nice experience!

We stayed at Francesca’s home for the first part of our honeymoon. Prior to our stay, we found Francesca to be very attentive, responsive and lovely to chat with. Her home is beautiful and is in a lovely area on Lake Como. There are many restaurants in walking distance as well as the town beach and a beach bar. The views are spectacular and the access to the beach is excellent. We would recommend this stay to anyone.

A lovely accommodation with an amazing view! Laglio was great, as it was calmer than other places around Como lake and it was not touristy. Lovely host that makes sure that you have a good time and gives tips about food and activities in the area. I will definitely come back!

Great place in Bellano! Short walk from the train station, to the Orrido of Bellano, e the ferry station to Bellagio. The house was sparkling clean, comfortable beds. Supermarket one minute walk. Everything was perfect. Recommended 100%

The apartment has an unbelievable view. The view out the front door will take your breath away. It's beautiful. The entire town is walkable and worth exploring. The train and ferry stations are also walking distance from the apartment, and we ended up using both for day trips to other lake cities. This is truly a magical location. We will forever remember having our morning coffee or pre-dinner wine on the lake, a mere 10 feet from our front door. Francesca and her mother were amazing, responsive, and helpful in every way. They left us a bottle of their family's wine as a welcome present. On our departure day, it was pouring rain, and they offered to drive us to the train station. So unexpected and kind. I would highly recommend this apartment and location. We'll visit again.

Lovely apartment by the lake. We got up everyday with beautiful view of lake como by the window. Very calmed, not far from Villa del balbianello 6 minutes by car.

Great place in a super nice area. Simone was always easy to reach and very nice. The apartment was totally clean and the kitchen has everything you need. The stay was great, perfect for letting your mind wander. The view from the terrace was simply a dream.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was just as described – clean, cozy, and perfectly equipped. I particularly liked the modern kitchen. The check-in went completely smoothly and Federica was always available, friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back and would highly recommend this place!

Wow! What a beautiful flat. Nicoletta was very responsive! She was by far one of the best host on Airbnb. The place was beautiful!! Clean and very spacious! More spacious than the picture showed!! THE VIEW! While it’s got a smaller view than most would want of como it still was amazing and very lovely to sit on the balcony and drink a glass of wine at night or eat a croissant and drink an espresso in the morning. Nicoletta was very responsive in so many ways. She fixed the one issue we had instantly without a fuss. That alone I wanna give her 10/5! She had recommendations on the spot for everything. She replied very fast and it was so nice. We are already want to come back!!

We had a fantastic time staying in Dervio at Francesco’s place and exploring the towns surrounding lake Como. The place is perfect for so many reasons, the location is great, right on a small beach with amazing views and a walking path that takes you into town. It’s a short 7 minute walk from the train station and 10 minutes to downtown area with restaurants. There are tons of old walkways that allow you to explore the area. We spent a couple days taking the train and ferry to Bellano, Veranna, and Bellagio (very happy to be in Dervio). We also have two small kids and found the place was great for families with crib, beds with guard rails, and a high chair, along with a playground that just out the front door. The gates were excellent for preventing kids from going to the road or to the lake. The best part was Francesco and his family, they are very warm and welcoming! We spent time with him, his father, aunt, and cousin and very much enjoyed getting to know them!
