Farmstay holiday rentals in Cologne

Very last minute booked stay to spend a few days in a quiet place and we were greeted very kindly by Birgit. The apartment has many comfortable sleeping options and a great outdoor area. Our children also felt very comfortable. Since we had to work in between, we would have liked only a more reliable wifi.

We stayed at Birgitta's house for 2 nights with our toddler and baby. It was very clean with a well stocked kitchen for meals in. Our daughter loved the play area. Beds and bedding very comfy. The only thing I'd note is the stairs are very steep so may not be ideal for people with mobility issues, and we had to carry our children up and down. Overall, very cosy and enjoyable stay and would recommend!

Very cozy place in heart of Eifel

We had a fantastic time in Christiane and José‘s house. We visited the Ahr-Region with a group of 10 adults and the house was very spacious with plenty of areas to sit and chat, BBQ or dine. The bedrooms were great (worked well on two levels) and the bathrooms as well. A bonus was the fire place and the covered outdoor space. C & J were great hosts, very helpful, friendly and no question was too much. We can really recommend staying at this lovey holiday location.

Awesome place at the countryside just outside Pulheim. Lots to see and lots to do. Highly recommended.

An amazing home with great hosts! The surrounding countryside was more than i could have dreamed! The hosts live next door and were always willing to help and recommend fun things to do! We loved walking around the horse farm and getting to meet and pet the hosts dog. If we come back to Germany this is where we will stay!

This is one of the most beautifully designed and furnished places I’ve ever stayed in, and as a frequent Airbnb traveler, that really says something. The apartment has a warm, welcoming feel, with tasteful art and a fantastic library. If you read German, you’ll have enough books for a year! There’s a spacious bedroom and a bright living room with a sofa, dining table, and an extra king-size bed. All filled with natural light from large windows that open to the balcony. (If there are four of you, you might be lucky to sleep in the living room bed!) The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, and the bathroom features a tub that also works as a shower. The location is peaceful, in the Siebengebirge area, next to a horse farm with no traffic. Perfect for relaxing, hiking, or cycling. I absolutely loved staying here. Thank you, Dagmar!

This a wonderfully peaceful retreat with a great view from the lounge/balcony. The goats which David and Vanessa farm add some entertainment. We wanted for nothing really. The main living/sleeping space is light and airy, the kitchen well-equpped and the bathroom very practical. As well as a balcony to sit on, there is access to the garden with several sitting areas and even a sauna (which we didn't try). Above all, Vanessa and David are very warm and considerate hosts who were eager to ensure we had a good time. We're already thinking of another visit.

Anne's property is beautiful. It is peaceful and quiet and the area is wonderful.

Thomas and Claudia are great hosts. Very friendly, helpful, committed owners of the alpaca farm who do wonderful work for children using the alpacas. The attic space is super nice and despite the warm weather it remained wonderfully cool, just like the forests around it. Absolutely recommended! We'd love to come back. Thank you!

The refuge at Annette's is one of the very few Air BnB accommodations that I would book again and again. I have already been there a second time to spend an extended weekend and I am already looking forward to the day when I can return. What I particularly like: the beautiful, cozy furnishings, the good kitchen equipment, the cozy bed, the small private garden with cackling chickens in the foreground, parasol and grill, Annette and her family, who welcome you as a host and neighbor, the idyllic area with many beautiful hiking trails and all the small details in the refuge, which show how much love has been put into this accommodation. You just feel comfortable here!

We were looking for something for two nights at short notice, where we could also bring our two dogs. So we didn't directly search for a place like this. Since we only stayed overnight, we cannot therefore report so much about the farm itself, its inhabitants or other guests. The tiny house is very lovingly furnished, the bed is very comfortable (my husband is very tall and this is often a problem in accommodations). Behind the house, donkeys have their accommodation and from the guest bathroom you can look through a window into the stable above the washbasin, so ☺️ it may be that you have spectators while brushing your teeth... but very sweet. 🥰 In the yard there are still a whole range of other animals (goats, geese and chickens). So if you are looking for a place to relax and unwind, perhaps a little more in harmony with nature, this is certainly the right place.

We had a wonderful stay in this great apartment. From there, we were able to sail to Roermond and stroll to Maastricht. However, you have to be on foot because of the stairs.

our stay with Jaqueline and Guido was super nice and we were able to enjoy nature really great! There is everything you need and the two are very helpful and super friendly. The small forest hut was very clean and decorated with many loving details. You could go directly from the hut to the hiking trail, which we particularly liked. Thanks for the wonderful time you love:)

We are quite experienced Airbnb users since living in Canada BC and I should say this is one of the best places I have ever stayed at. Didn’t really feel like advertising much and keep the place for myself/friends but Sabrina and her family deserve a good word. The place is just right to relax, enjoy nature and family. House is perfectly equipped, anything you may think of is already there. Thx to the host for not using crazy scented detergents for the bedding. We have already booked the place for summer time. Very busy! Hurry up

The stay was really nice! The place is super clean and spacious. The amenities were also very good. All the basics (and more) included in the kitchen and bathroom. Our little daughter fell in love with the pig and the rabbits. There was a lot of space to play and romp for them. Iris and Elmar were responsive and helpful the whole time. We really enjoyed it, we will definitely go again.

Simple evaluation. It was great! There was nothing missing in the accommodation. Our three children got along great with the children of the hosts. Happy kids = stress-free time for parents. The stay has set standards, hard to beat. Clear recommendation!

We felt completely comfortable in Uta's cottage! The communication with Uta was great. The accommodation is super quiet on the edge of the village - perfect for really switching off. Inside, everything you need is there: a small, well-equipped kitchen, a fireplace, a comfortable bed, a cozy sofa with TV - everything to make you feel at home. Beautiful walking paths start right outside the door. Our highlight was the completely fenced (dog-proof!) garden. There, our furry friend could run around freely, play or doze in the grass. Everything was there for the dog (dog blanket for the sofa, food/water bar, garden hose and towels). From the terrace, you have a great view of the countryside - ideal for letting your thoughts wander or enjoying the sunset. In short: For us, the perfect accommodation to relax and simply unwind - far away from the hustle and bustle, neighbors and everyday stress.

We had a super nice time in the apartment. It is superbly equipped, with great attention to detail. The surroundings and the village are very beautiful and you have your peace. (However, you cannot do without a car, because the roads are already very extensive and there is no shopping facility in the village.) We are already looking forward to the next time, because we can definitely come back!

Perfect! Lovely little house with perfect decor and comfort. Even nicer than the pictures. The area is very pretty, walks in the forest 5 min from the house. And the hosts are more than adorable, we lost a wallet in the forest and Hilla and her husband went to try to find it with their dogs in the forest! Amazing hosts, thank you again:)

A very nice, large house where many people have space. We were invited close to the wedding, it was a perfect fit for our needs. The terrace is cozy, the dining table huge, so with 9 people we adapted more than well. Beds are very comfortable and kitchen well appointed. We highly recommend the house.

We had a very nice weekend in this cozy, modern and comfortable apartment. Even with outside temperatures above 30°, it was very pleasant in the apartment and we were able to spend a relaxing time with two small children and two babies. The apartment is spacious and very well appointed. Outside there are swings, a trampoline and plenty of space for children to play. You can tell that Nils and Caro put a lot of thought into the well-being of their guests and go to great lengths. The communication in advance is almost too detailed, so you can really find your way around ;) In my opinion, the overnight price is very nicely chosen - most landlords would probably charge more for comparable accommodation. We would be happy not to have stayed here for the last time for a break :)
