Villa holiday rentals in Cologne

We stayed in Christian's cottage/apartment on vacation for the 2nd time. It was wonderful again. The garden is a dream come true for parents and children. The area is nice for walks. The house is spacious, we often played billiards. The children can move around well even in bad weather. We will be happy to come back.

If you like something different, yet with all the required amenities, this is the place for you. Situated in innercourt place, the apartment is huge and spacious. It has all the equipment you can think of and a large sauna in one of the bedrooms. It is situated in a quiet neighborhood, but with all the required grocery shops and restaurants in little walking distance. It is also just 30 minutes walk through a park to the old city of Dusseldorf. The host Daniel was very flexible and provided all the needed information well in advance, so that we had no trouble finding and opening the apartment. Beds were great, both large and comfortable. Also, the little terrace outside the main living room was very nice, as it is secluded and we were lucky to have a warm Dusseldorf evening.

We are very grateful that we were able to book for the same day even though it was a holiday. Booking was very straightforward. We were greeted with sandwich and prosecco, and this at 11pm at night. This was just the right thing after our spontaneous long trip. Thanks again.

We stayed for a family reunion with 14 people (18-81 years) in Vera's accommodation, who warmly welcomed us on arrival and provided us with all the information. We immediately felt very comfortable and in great weather we also used the garden and barbecue area. The villa as well as the cottage have been renovated with love for detail and offer enough space for large groups/families. We didn't miss anything. In Unkel everything is within walking distance (supermarket, bakery, restaurants, train station etc) and the place has beautiful alleys and half-timbered houses. We had bikes with us and made beautiful bike rides along the Rhine from the house. We highly recommend this property and would be happy to come back.

The house is exactly as described. We felt very comfortable from the beginning. We were there with seven people, which was no problem at all, as the rooms are all very spacious. Everything was clean, the kitchen was well equipped and the check-in was friendly. The only drawback was the (one) mattress. We then swapped beds and were able to solve the problem (for the children, the mattress was not a problem). I would book the house again at any time.

My friends and I really had a perfect weekend. Beautiful location overlooking beautiful and free land. Wonderfully quiet and quiet. The house has everything and more you can expect from a home and more! Kitchen fully stocked with everything including herbs, liqueur, serving boards, etc. All bathrooms provided with shampoo, body wash, body lotion, towels, washcloths. In addition, helpful instructions with how the house works. Just mentioning positive stuff. The photos don't do justice to how beautiful this airbnb was. If I could give over 10/10, I would have done it.

Located on the edge of the forest, with a large lounge with a fireplace and views of ponds, meadows and forest, the Forest Lodge was an ideal place for us - 5 people with a dog - an ideal place for a reunion over the turn of the year. A nice place for a few days in quiet surroundings that invites you to walks, chats by the fireplace, reading at one of the large windows, cooking and eating together. Sincere thanks for the well thought out hospitality!

Business stay to Düsseldorf area

The on-site contact person was always easy to reach, showed great flexibility and had an absolutely affable character. The house had everything needed and is picturesquely located in the middle of nature. Great stay with a large group, happy to come back!

Cozy space in a quiet area. Pleasant stay.

The accomodation was totally fine! The surroundings were amazing, you could just enjoy the view from the house and the people who work on the park were all nice!

The place is really insanely beautiful! The amenities are GREAT and communication with Jana was impeccable. We will definitely book again!

The accommodation was really great and as described. It's a shame that you can't park the car at the house anymore. You have to be a good walker because it is very steep. Here is a small review of the restaurant: We ordered four dishes. Each one was a disaster. The schnitzels were very greasy/oily and it smelled like old oil. The fried potatoes tasted indefinably bad. The ***curry*** with rice and fresh vegetables consisted of canned vegetables, a spoonful of rice and the curry did not taste like curry, but like carrot puree. Went back and I ate a small goulash soup instead (€10!) which was acceptable. Furthermore, the food is very expensive (fried potatoes, schnitzel, small salad €28) We're not going back there! But the accommodation and area were super nice
