Family-friendly holiday rentals in Confolens

We had a lovely stay, the accommodation is very nice and very well-equipped. The outside is a real plus and the subdivision is quiet. There are many walks nearby and especially the body of water which is very pleasant ☺️ We recommend 100%

We had a great weekend with friends at Roz's. The house is very beautiful, clean, spacious. Everything is provided (bed linen, towels, etc.). Small touches were waiting for us, it's a plus that we really appreciated. The many activities available on site occupied us well, we did not leave the weekend house: pool, jacuzzi, billiards, ping pong, darts, etc. Small dedication to Bob who welcomed us very warmly!

Small, quiet cottage in a large, well-maintained property. We were remarkably welcomed with nice touches. The pool is very nice, a perfect place to relax.

Nadine and Daniel are truly outstanding hosts! They went above and beyond to prepare everything for us, ensuring we had a seamless and enjoyable stay. We absolutely loved chatting with them and indulging in the delightful meals at Nadine's table. It was a warm and memorable experience that made our time in France incredibly special! If I could give more than five stars, I would, because five stars are simply not enough to convey how exceptional they truly are.

Claire and François are very friendly hosts. Their house is very nice and ideal for a family stay. The park around the house will delight the children!

A lovely gite in a wonderful rural location but with good road access for exploring the area. A really well equipped kitchen and as we like to cook when on holiday this was especially appreciated. Nice downstairs space in particular with simply the best woodburner we have seen. Very responsive and friendly relaxed hosts. Recommended all round.

We had a great weekend with the family in this spacious and well-appointed barn. We enjoyed the well-stocked welcome basket. The kitchen is ideal for eating in large numbers and preparing meals as a family. The piano is great for cooks like us. Young and old enjoyed the garden games as well as the pool (very safe) and the jacuzzi. Very good welcome and advice from John and Fiona. It was perfect.

We absolutely loved our stay at Rose's place in Villefagnan, for many reasons. Yvette greeted us, showed us how to use everything, and answered all my questions and requests for help. Rose's home is very comfortable. Top quality beds, pillows and linens, empty dressers so we didn't have to live out of a suitcase, a fully equipped kitchen, the list goes on. The beautiful backyard, with grass, flowers and cherry trees was our favorite place to spend a sunny afternoon. And the village of Villefagnan is wonderful, too. The town square is 2 houses away, and the patisserie is just across the square, so we had fresh croissants every morning. Two restaurants, a bouchère, a corner market, Tobac, and a pharmacy make up the rest of the village, everything you need. There are bike roads in every direction, so our dogs enjoyed long walks every day. The locals are friendly and welcoming. We can't wait to go back.

Amanda and Robin were great hosts and the gite was gorgeous. We loved the quiet surroundings and a quick drive to a couple of great restaurants. Our 2 little dogs were made very welcome and enjoyed the secure garden. We didn’t use the pool but it looked very inviting. Lovely stay, especially being invited to the tango evening. the Moulin du Petit Balabran is the perfect place to rest, disconnect and enjoy nature. it's a privilege to be able to enjoy such a beautiful setting! the house is well equipped, no TV or internet but beautiful walks to do around (the house of the Parc de la Brenne in Rosnay, Chateau Guillaume in Lignac, the restaurant "le Léon"...). arrival and departure independently, we did not meet the hosts but Celestine with whom we Communicated was very available, responsive, kind and good advice. I would recommend it without second thought and would happily return!

We had a fantastic stay with Marc Andre and Chantal! Wonderful accommodation on a spacious property with a private pool, tennis court, and table tennis table. We had great contact with Marc Andre and Chantal, both before and during our stay. They let us borrow their bikes and gave us various tips for sights and restaurants. Absolutely recommended, and if it's on our route again, we would love to return!

Really nice place, great area for walks with animals and/or children. Heidi is very responsive and friendly. Breakfast is excellent and varies from day to day. We'll be happy to go back!

Annick and Patrick are amazing hosts? They are helpful and friendly and speak several languages. When we stayed with them they took us and several of the other guests to an outdoor food festival, which was great and then after that we walked around the lake and saw a live band and had plenty of singing and dancing. They are very knowledgeable about their home country and eager to impart their knowledge. You cannot go wrong staying at Tartou with this couple and the fabulous views over the countryside.

A really warm welcome from Roseline and Gérard. The accommodation was perfect and arranged with great taste. Don't hesitate to stop by.

Had a very nice week in this beautiful place with our two young children (3 & 6 years). Beautiful garden to play in and lovely swimming pool and also the cottage is very spacious and cozy.

The accommodation is very tastefully and fully furnished with good furniture, lots of books, art on the wall etc. Outside is a beautiful terrace with barbecue. A little further away is the lovely natural pool with seating. Adrian's estate (and Vicky) also consists of his own home, some beautiful old stables and other houses, a meadow with donkeys, an artist's studio and a vegetable garden. The whole is very charming, peaceful and in a green natural setting. Adrian himself (Vicky was in England) is very nice and the welcome was very warm with a chest of vegetables, fruits, homemade jam, etc. We had a wonderful week at Adrian's place as a family (6 adults and a baby) and we can highly recommend this accommodation.

From the moment we opened the door of our car, we fell in love. The house is very charming and surroundings absolutely beautiful. Very peaceful and relaxing. Our son loved the wildlife and was constantly on the lookout for new bugs, birds, and lizards. The loirs was no doubt his favorites. Our daughter spent a lot of time in the pool, which was bigger than expected and very nice. We had parents and inlaws coming to visit, a total of 8 at the most. We were very comfortable in the house, if you needed some time alone there was always possible to find a quiet spot inside or outside. We found it as a good base for daytrips in the region, there is a lot to see and do, but need a car. We have been to many places around the world, having an international family, and it is the first time we have been really sad to leave. (Even the kids that was looking forward to Disneyland). Abigail has been a great host, quick replies and very helpful. Many thanks again for letting us live in in your beautiful house.
