Catherine’s Hidden Gem was a wonderful refuge on our road trip around Ireland. So beautifully created, and thoughtfully presented, cosy and delightful. Every amenity provided for our comfort. Great coffee, well stocked fridge, comfy beds, angel lights to guide us home, maps and even a chocolate by the bedside table. Five star accommodation. Catherine was the most amazing host and helped us with her local knowledge, advice and cosmic personality. We didn’t want to leave. Thank you Catherine, we will never forget you. La météo était mauvaise, et notre hôte nous a avertit que le logement était libre une heure plus tôt. Un grand merci à lui pour ce suivi et l'accueil. Le studio est paisible, très proche des restaurants et commerces. Le bourg de Clifden est à proximité (30 mn de voiture) de nombreuses attractivités touristiques. La découverte du Connemara en séjournant à Clifden a été très agréable.

Patricia war ein sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Das Studio ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Betten waren sehr gut. Patricia hatte uns sehr viele nützliche Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurants in Westport gegeben. Wir fanden dort gute Restaurants und eines der besten irischen Pubs.

Sean & Susan were wonderful hosts. We stayed the month of April and enjoyed every minute. The flat is so close to everything whether by foot or vehicle and a great base for exploring Northern Ireland. We highly recommend this flat and the town of Enniskillen. Thank you again Sean & Susan xx

Irene was a fabulous host. Communicated ahead of our arrival and gave great recommendations for Galway as well as our next stop of Dingle. The apartment was spacious and extremely clean. The West End location was perfect. Several pubs, restaurants, coffee shops as well as nightlife a stones throw away. Short walk to Eyre Square, the Latin Quarter and Woodquay. Would recommend a drink at Carrol's Bar just a couple doors down. Traditional Irish music in the front of the pub or more lively outside in the back at the beer garden, "Caravan Club". Would definitely stay at Irene's again.

Irish hospitality at its best. Our hosts were lovely, bringing us freshly laid eggs most days and usually around at the end of the day for a friendly chat. The location was great, we loved our evening strolls along the beach. We hope to return someday.

Norita’s home is a lovely home and fit U.S. perfectly! The beds were comfy and the kitchen well stocked. The addition of the sheep’s and chickens added to the tranquil setting. The welcome gifts from the “girls in the garden” were delightful! She even made dinner reservations at the Smugglers Creek Restaurant (fabulous location and exceptional food) and arranged a taxi pick for us. A++++

Beautiful house with stunning views! Very clean & stocked with essentials. Host was easy to communicate with and replied quickly. We were given a courtesy late check out which was very much appreciated! Would definitely stay here again if we revisit the area. Do not hesitate to book this house.

Had a fantastic stay here. The cottage and the area were absolutely lovely and J was so helpful when we’re checking in- he recommended some wonderful hikes and places to eat!

We had a great holiday. Good location, lots to do within walking distance. Very clean, comfortable house for for family of 5. Felt like home away from home. We would all happy go back. 😀

I can't recommend Redmond and Sheila's place enough. It sits on the edge of the beautiful Galway Bay, and the daily view of the water, the quiet setting, and the delightful town of Spiddal is just a five-minute walk away. It feels like a welcoming family home with the intimacy and graciousness of a place well-loved and respected by its owners. A fully stocked kitchen, cozy setting, and furnishings, and comprehensive area recommendations from Redmond made this property so welcoming that we wanted to stay forever. Redmond was very responsive with all of our questions, and we felt like we were honored family friends coming to stay. It was one of our favorite Airbnb's of all time, and we would definitely stay here again!

Eine traumhafte Lage mit Ausblick in jede Himmelsrichtung, jeweils ganz besonders und dadurch nie langweilig. Ein guter Startpunkt für etliche (Wander-) Touren. Auch hierzu Tipps erhalten. Sonne (wenn Sie denn scheint) von morgens bis abends am bzw im Haus. Wir haben bereits nach wenigen Tagen entschieden, dass wir nächstes Jahr wieder kommen wollen. Zum erholen genießen und abschalten eine der besten Unterkünfte die ich kenne. Und keine Angst vor der Zufahrt, ist wirklich absolut machbar und fordert weder ein besonderes Auto noch einen besonderen Fahrer.

Die Unterkunft ist einfach zu finden,. Wir fanden ein wunderschönes gemütliches kleines Häuschen in perfektem Zustand vor. Und obwohl die Strasse nebenan ist, ist es in der nacht sehr ruhig, auch mit offenem Fenster. Cormac hat uns sehr gut eingewiesen und jeweils sehr schnell Antwort gegeben. Kann diese Unterkunft wärmstens weiter empfehlen. Pub direkt daneben, für gutes Essen waren wir im 19km entfernten Edenderry. Einkaufsmöglichkeit in 50m entfernt im Dorfladen.

This was a beautiful apartment in the country to relax. We actually did a lot of sightseeing in the area. Very comfy bed and two toilets! Our host was gracious and thoughtful.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Catherine's apartment, which was very comfortable, nicely laid out, very well equipped and very spacious. It's located on the top floor, at the rear of the building, which makes it very quiet and peaceful. Another positive is the fact that there is a parking space in the building as on-street parking outside always seemed to be full. It's in a great location, with bars, restaurants etc., in walking distance and there's even a convenience store nearby. We also found the location to be very convenient for access to the various attractions of the area. Overall, we were very pleased to have found this property and would have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

This airbnb was beyond our expectations. From the drive in seeing all the beautiful manicured lawns to the home itself nestled on top of a beautiful hill overlooking the river and pastures. Alan welcomed us with a warm smile and answers to all of our questions. He was very responsive with communication which made the visit comfortable. The walking path along the river is a must, filled with beautiful scenery and wildlife. The Airbnb was stocked with breakfast items, snacks, and drinks such as coffee, tea, orange juice and milk. Everything you could need for relaxing calm getaway with a stunning view and immaculate grounds to walk. I can't recommend this place enough, we will be back next time!

Amazing stay!!! Private, on the water, amazing views, quiet, spacious, fantastic hosts oh I don't even know where to stop with all the positive! Walk to Ashford Castle which we did, and into the village of Cong, oh what a gem this house, nobody else around you yet so close to all. Thank you for a fantastic stay, I will be back!!!!

First time having stayed in Airbnb. And Helen’s certainly exceeded my expectations. Unfortunately it was so relaxing we didn’t want to go out . Cleaner than any hotel. Definitely 💯 want to go back. My paradise

the apartment was clean and tidy and it was in a great location. just a 10 minute drive to Croagh Patrick and a few minutes into the centre of Westport. Great to use as a base for exploring Mayo and beyond. Christina and James were very kind with us arriving late at night, leaving some things in the fridge and meeting us on arriving to show us in the place. plenty of local amenities too.

Thanks Helen for a fantastic few days. The peace and tranquility of Dromineer was perfect. We felt so ‘at home’. We’re now sat in the Gravity bar in Dublin. What a contrast! We already miss what we shared.
