Cabin holiday rentals in Coopers Rock State Forest

Jess went above and beyond as a host and provided suggestions throughout the weekend. We felt like locals! The cabin was so cozy for a friends/couples weekend. The game room was a bonus surprise and so fun for a group! The hot tub was extremely clean and so relaxing after a day of hiking. We all can’t wait to return. The cabin is a GEM! We had an amazing stay! Close to Davis, Thomas, Dolly sods by any standards. Close to Seneca rocks, spruce knob and Nelson rocks by WV standards, lol. Everything was comfortable and clean, we loved the swing on the screened in porch! Make sure to call restaurants to confirm hours, Google/Apple Maps information wasn’t always accurate, but we found plenty to do and eat!

Anthony was an amazing host and was so helpful in the communication process and booking and assisting us with all of our questions. This air b and b is absolutely beautiful and so much thought and intention put into the design and the surroundings in the woods added to the aura. The hot tub, sauna, and all the wonderful amenities made this getaway a dream. Such a comfortable bed and we had everything we needed. Thank you so much for hosting us we made many unforgettable memories at your gorgeous chalet!!

It was hard to leave. It was very comfortable and just pleasant to hang out. We were very happy!

This was our second time staying at Wanda’s place. It is the perfect place to get away and just relax.We spent time in the hot tub,grilled and spent many hours enjoying a campfire .My husband and I cannot wait to return for another week.We highly recommend.

We just had our 3rd stay at Analog Cabin and have only made a small dent in their spectacular record collection, so we will continue to return again and again. Analog is the perfect place to get away and unplug for a few days. It's clean, quaint and super quirky. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. The hot tub and sauna are a great bonus! Tons of books, games and puzzles! The artwork around the place, both inside and out, is a nice touch. It's easy to be inspired here. Strongly recommend! Thank you David for another great weekend!

Beautiful home in a peaceful location. So many details leaving the feeling of a unique experience. We enjoyed every minute of it – the hot tub was great; we had a fire going on the second evening. My son’s girlfriend loved the “makeup” washcloths :) Thank you, Brittney and Nathan! Great hosts.

It was an absolute treat to stay in Ammar's Airbnb! Excellent location, beautiful view both inside and out. Ammar was prompt in their responses when we had questions, making the overall experience fun and wonderful. Will be booking again next year!

Kristen's home was so charming and full of meaning. We had a lovely stay and would return in the future. I had difficulty getting in due to the rain, but she was quick to respond and help me. Great recommendations for dinner as well. 10/10

We came from the other side of the state to celebrate two big family events for the weekend. We needed space to visit with family as well as to prep for an off property grad party - the kitchen had everything we needed & the space to visit with family while we were in the area. Being able to bring out two dogs with us was a huge perk and great last minute decision. The location is quiet, easy to find and the hosts were so kind! The beds were comfortable and had the weather been better it would have been a great place to enjoy the private outdoor space. We hope this location is available for us the next time we visit! Great cabin in a great area! Cannot recommend enough for quick and easy access to nature with affordability for what you get. Highly recommend.

This was second time staying in Millstone Cottage when visiting Alpine Lake. It’s a cozy place, located near Club House, and perfect for a couple. Did not use kayak as we did last trip due to unseasonably cool weather. Hiked the Overlook Trail, which goes up the hill behind cottage to Gazebo at top of old ski run for a great view of lake. We came away relaxed and refreshed, and that’s what a weekend retreat is all about.

Blue moon rising was nothing short of amazing. I couldn’t recommend it enough. It was peaceful and beautiful. Exactly what we were looking for!

Abrams Creek is a great place for a quiet, private, beautiful rustic cabin camping experience. The grounds were fantastic, from the moment you pass the check-in you are immediately in the woods. At the cabin itself you feel like you are alone in the woods next to a peaceful stream. The cabin was comfortable and plenty warm with the propane heating, and having a dedicated port-a-potty right next to our site made bio-breaks much more convenient than if you had to walk to a central bathhouse. Highly recommend Abrams Creek!

This is a beautiful spot that was perfect for our 2 families who live far apart to get together and enjoy the Ohiopyle area. As other reviewers mentioned, this home is very comfortable with a well-stocked kitchen, ample towels and thoughtful extra touches, like toiletries and coffee. The guest cabin over the stream is a highlight of the property!

Jeff is a great host with a gorgeous plot of land. He ensured we had everything we needed, from heated blanket, lint roller, umbrella, a cooler behind the abode, to even bringing us down covered mugs for our soup. He thinks of everything you could possibly need, there is even a heater in the bathroom. Jeff is diligent and friendly, he gave clear and easy instructions, and even provides a closer sawdust bathroom if you don't want to walk all the way up to the main bathroom. There was coffee in the morning which he was kind enough to refill without our asking, and gave us a run down of the pretty trails! The Toad Abode is beautiful, has plenty of power outlets and lanterns to use. Be sure to look out the Abode down the hill in the morning to catch some views of cows on the hill! There are plenty of things to do near the area, like Jeff, we also recommend seeing Falling Water. A great host and a lovely place, we will definitely recommend the Toad Abode to our friends!

Feel like we were happy to find this place before it sparks tons of interest on a travel blog. Place was previously ran by other owners and they were transitioning so not a lot was open but we were just passing through for the night looking for a resting spot and it was quiet and peaceful. Beautiful views of the river off the back porch through the sliding doors with floor to ceiling windows. We were with our dogs and there were a ton of trials to walk and explore. Couldn’t believe we found this charming town. Completely updated with high-end finishes and linens. Also, 45 minutes from Flight 93 Memorial, which is a must see.

We came to the area to visit Wolf Den State Park. We had a great time! Everything is as pictured and the creek was beautiful. We didn't have cell reception which was perfect for us! The only down fall is that it's not closer to home! We will definitely be keeping this place in mind if were ever in the area again!

The area is a beautiful small cabin with its own fire place area. You can hear the stream outside in the distance. The camp grounds keeper Jimmy was so helpful he helped us out with any questions or concerns. The cabin provided a center for tea and coffee. If you forgot wood there was a area you can get wood at. The roads getting to it was narrow but you have the view of the river which made the journey peaceful.

Our stay at this lovely home was nothing short of magical. It was spotless, beautifully maintained and felt like a true escape into nature. One of the highlights of our stay was freshly baked cinnamon rolls made by our host! The surrounding farm was an absolute delight. Whether is it was visiting the peacocks and chickens or giving the gentle horse a pet, every moment felt serene and special. We were there to celebrate our son’s graduation from WVU and it was an unforgettable experience. We will all cherish it for years to come. Cheers to Elisabeth for making it so special!
