Holiday rentals with lake access in Coos County

The White House exceeded our expectations as a hiking base of operations over the long weekend. Having a cozy, spacious place to ourselves made us feel right at home, organically lending itself to home cooked meals in the dining room and an array of meaningful conversations in the living room. Andrew was a quick and consistent communicator for all of our questions and concerns. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

We had a group of seven at Jackie’s place for a long weekend of snowmobiling and it was a fantastic stay! The kitchen is fully stocked with nearly everything you would need to make your meals during the stay, even a crockpot and lobster cracking tools! No ice maker, but there is an ice cube tray, we just bought a bag from the store, no biggie just something to note. Plenty of towels of all sizes and tons of extra pillows and blankets throughout the house too. We loved our stay and will hope to stay again in the future, we make visits to Pittsburg a few times a year and when we have a bigger group Jackie’s place will be the first place we book if we can!

This home is very well maintained and nicely updated. Everything you might need is readily available—from Q-tips to laundry supplies. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the essentials, making it easy to feel right at home. The host was helpful and responsive, always quick to answer any questions. We especially appreciated the small fenced-in yard and porch, which is great if you’re bringing a pet. Although it rained during our stay, the hot tub and firepit were still great features to have. The location is also a big plus—convenient to the trail system and within walking distance to restaurants. Would definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay in this cozy home. The kids enjoyed ice skating and ice fishing and we also planned fun activities like skiing and snow mobiling within 30 minutes from the house. The host was very responsive and very friendly.

The house was beautiful and in a great location. Both hosts were very responsive and respectful with anything that we needed help with or done. My party and I really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go again. Thank you again to our wonderful hosts.

Jennifer’s place was perfect. It was insanely clean, and me and my friend felt very comfortable. The location was beautiful, and being able to go on the lake with a kayak, or have a fire near the water was super cool. If you want to hike the white mountains, this is the place to be! Definitely coming back.

I will continue to recommend this home every time I stay here! This is a perfect location for anyone who wants peace, quiet and tranquility, or for someone who wants in the middle of all the adventures! The location is center of shopping, mountain biking, hiking and sight seeing. Corbie and Rob have a home that is comfortable and relaxing. I enjoyed that during my stay, while the temperatures dropped outside, the heat inside was perfect! I was also able to open the windows and have the fresh lilac smell come in from the bushes just outside the window! Corbie and Rob will continue to be my home away from home when visiting the beautiful white mountains!

Cute and cozy space for my boyfriend and I to spend our time together while riding the trails in Pittsburg. We had a small issue with the wifi but communication was excellent and we were so appreciative. Super clean space and directions were very clear! Kelly gave great recommendations for trails near by and restaurants for dinner, as we had never been up this way. We will be back! Loved the little word magnets on the refrigerator. Thanks so much!!

Stayed here while snowmobiling. There was 8 of us. Plenty of room for parking trucks and trailers, and plenty of room inside for gear. Right next the buck rub which is great. I’d stay here again.

We had a great time staying at Henry’s place with our dog! The cabin was comfortable, clean, and ready for us when we arrived. Henry was super responsive and proactive in reaching out. We enjoyed walking our dog around the area and loved how close it is to skiing! We would for sure stay here again for our next ski or hike weekend.

I had a great stay. Corbe and Rob were excellent hosts. They were very responsive and gave detailed instructions and recommendations so I knew what to expect. The place is absolutely beautiful, right on the lake. I felt at peace, rested and restored. It was also very safe, which was a relief for a solo traveler. Kayaks were available on site and hiking was nearby. The kitchen had everything I needed to prepare all of my meals. There’s a cute Main Street area in Littleton with shops and restaurants. It’s definitely a place I will return to the next time I get a break. Check it out, you won’t regret it.

Our stay was over a weekend, and it was so easy to get in and settle into our spot. The lake view is a nice tidbit from the yard, and everything was nicely set up and clean! A perfect mountains get away! Marlene was nice and responsive. We had a lovely time!

Great stay as always. We’ve stayed several times. Our go-to place to stay in the north country. Internet didn’t work briefly and host took care of it in less than 30 minutes. Great place.

The cottage was so beautiful, clean and cozy. Tom and Rosemarie gave us tips on places to go to try to see moose and avoid the crowds near the touristic places. Kitchen was fully equipped and everything worked just as expected. I just wish we had come in a hotter day so we could use the kayak and paddles on the lake! Will definitely come back!

So clean and cozy. Was in a really packed itinerary so we just jumped around but would love to just stay in next time and enjoy the place itself.
