Jackie’s spacious Airbnb was 5 star+. This was the best Airbnb we had stayed in. The location was peaceful and quiet. Jackie had thought of everything to make it feel like home. Beautifully and tastefully furnished. The kitchen had everything required to self cater. The basket of goodies was much appreciated. Very comfortable bed with extra pillows and crisp white linen. The large bathroom included a washing machine and a fabulous shower. Communication with Jackie was easy and she was quick to respond to my questions. I would highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone visiting York and it’s surrounds.

A fabulous self-contained contemporary apartment, ideally situated for public transport or Park & Ride into York and the MacArthur Glen Outlet Centre. The accommodation is very well appointed, clean and tidy. Amanda is a very friendly, helpful and responsive host. Overall, a very comfortable and relaxing stay that we would be happy to revisit - highly recommended!

Great location on the lock. lovely views out of all the windows. very peaceful and relaxing. Not far from the Designer Outlet and the P&R is very easy to use. Enjoyed a visit to the nearby Air Museum where there is lots to see. A very enjoyable weekend

I've just returned from a 2-night stay on the Ark with a small group of friends and family. On arriving, I met Kerrie, who had just been to do a final check of the boat. She was lovely and made me feel very welcome. The boat is just beautiful and in a gorgeous, peaceful setting. Everything was as described. The boat was spotless and had everything we needed. The bed I slept in was so comfortable and the shower was nice and powerful. The hot tub is well worth going in. Very clean and with a great view of the river when inside it. The site the boat is moored at is just lovely. A great cafe where we all had a delicious breakfast in the sun. Although there were quite a lot of people around (the weather was beautifully warm and sunny) we never felt overlooked when sitting on the terrace of the boat. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. York was only a 10-15 minute taxi ride away (costing about £13),making the Ark such a great location for visiting the city. I can't wait to rebook!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The space was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. We really appreciated the little touches that made it feel like a home away from home. The jacuzzi was lovely! The hosts were great at providing us with all the information we needed for a stress free check in/out and a perfect stay. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a mini break. Peacocks were a lovely surprise seeing them walk around the estate. Thanks again! A perfect home from home - everything has been thought about what you could need. Perfect location, very close to bus routes into York but so peaceful to come back to after a busy day exploring. Great to have some basic provisions provided - the lemon cake gets a special mention, Jill was very kind to make it dairy free for my wife, extra delicious. A great place to stay and highly recommend!
