Located on the outskirts of the village of Bauhaus, the Waldhessian landscape is ideal for hiking, forest bathing or excursions by e-bike or you can relax in our spacious garden with terrace / balcony. Our granny flat "Zum kleinen Zollstock" is small but OHO. It is accessible at ground level. The bathroom offers a floor-level shower in addition to a toilet and sink. Towels and shower gel are provided. The sofa bed can be extended to 1.60 m and invites you to relax with the rotating smart TV. The kitchenette is fully equipped with a fridge, induction stovetop, mini oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle and matching accessories.

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.
