Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Costa Rica

Absolutely perfect. One of the best airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. And the best host experience as well with Marianna. I kept saying the whole stay “this is my dream house!” Perfect for families. Our kids spent hours in the pool every day we were there. We hope to be back soon!

my husband and I loved our stay at Casa Gungun! Rodrigo was very good at communicating. We loved the peaceful area and the view was amazing! the road to the place is very rough and makes it a bit harder in and out for doing things but just know you don't get anywhere fast in costa rica. Ate the best pizza of our life at Kon tiki! Hot tub struggled to get hot with the power outages was the only slight bummer but we enjoyed it when it was hot outside instead!

Beautiful house in the heart of Tamarindo. We spent 4 nights at Arbel's and enjoyed every minute of it. The house and kitchen were all stocked with what we needed for making meals. It's only a short walk to all the restaurants and beach, so making a quick trip back to the house for lunch or in case you left something is easy.

We absolutely fell in LOVE with the charming town of Monteverde and Jarvey and Flors place was the perfect location to rest our tired bodies!!!!! We loved the adventurous road leading to the house and the quiet peace and tranquility that awaited us! We arrived to find a basket of goodies including fresh pineapple and banana, chips, cold water, fresh local bread, cheese, and jam, and champagne! Jarvey was so kind and responsive and checked in on us personally a couple of times! We exchanged a lovely hug upon departure and I'll be forever grateful for their kindness and hospitality! The house itself is immaculate and cozy and the hot tub and patio couldn't be any more peaceful and beautiful! The views were amazing and the birds and flowers and bumblebees were the perfect addition to the serenity. The wifi may be a bit spotty, but we actually enjoyed that part! We cozied up in fluffy blankets on the couch and totally enjoyed our stay! Thanks again Jarvey and Flor!!!!!

Marlen was a great host! she was always responsive and quick. when we arrived she took us on a tour of the property. The place was nice and peaceful. we even got greeted by the neighbors puppy!

Great place! Just like the photos. We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy all the amenities. The shower water was cold but I have gotten used to that in travelling that not every place has the warmest shower water but definitely not a big deal! Everything else worked great, love the private big gate to make the property feel tucked away and private. You can hear running water in the creek or river that's down below which is lovely to listen to. We didn't get a chance to walk down. I love C.R. and plan to be back and would 100% stay here again.

A absolute privilege to spend a few days here as a family. A gem of a house that felt immediately like a home. We loved the quirks and the passion for enjoyment. Top of our price range but to us it was worth every penny. Thank you Tucker.

El lugar es precioso! Tiene unas vistas increíbles del volcán, además la villa parece nueva y muy moderna. Tiene todo lo necesario para estar cómodo y más. El jacuzzi funcionó perfecto y es muy relajante. Gabriela además es una host muy comunicativa y nos dio muchas sugerencias de donde comer y qué hacer en la zona. Volvería sin dudarlo!

Genaro is a great host. Friendly, helpful and communicates well. All the information needed to have a seem-less experience was provided to us prior to arriving, which gave us a piece of mind. The room is very spacious and beautiful; the pictures do not do it justice. The area is walkable with great places to eat. The area is also quiet and serene which made enjoying the outdoor space relaxing including the volcano view from the rooftop terrace. Breathtaking! There is some construction in the area that can be heard during the day but it didn’t bother us much as we spent that time doing excursions. Would definitely recommend anyway and plan on returning!

Nuestra estadía en Villa Aragón fue extraordinaria de principio a fin. Desde el momento en que llegamos, nos sentimos como en casa. La propiedad está muy bien ubicada, en una zona tranquila y segura, pero al mismo tiempo cerca de las hermosas playas de Puerto Viejo. Uno de los grandes puntos fuertes de la villa es, sin duda, el área de la piscina. Es amplia, está muy bien mantenida, rodeada de vegetación tropical y ofrece un ambiente de total tranquilidad. Fue nuestro lugar favorito para descansar. La casa súper limpia, con todo lo necesario para estar cómodos. La comunicación con los anfitriones fue excelente: siempre atentos, amables y dispuestos a ayudarnos con cualquier duda o recomendación. Se nota el cariño con el que cuidan la propiedad y el interés genuino en que sus huéspedes tengan una experiencia inolvidable. Superó nuestras expectativas. Es el lugar ideal si estás buscando comodidad, buena ubicación, Sin duda, la recomiendo al 100% y espero poder volver pronto.

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The customer service was exceptional—our host was friendly, responsive, and made us feel welcome from the start. The private villa was stunning: spacious, beautifully decorated, and spotless. It felt like our own peaceful oasis, with an incredible backyard area with a private pool and jacuzzi as well as a private area to park within it own sliding gate. The location was unbeatable—just minutes from downtown, with endless things to do nearby. We enjoyed exploring local restaurants, shops, and attractions, all within easy reach. Despite being so close to the action, the villa offered quiet, comfort, and privacy at the end of each day. It was the perfect balance of convenience and serenity. This stay exceeded our expectations. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable, high-quality experience. Wow!!! What an experience!! Whitney’s place was absolutely amazing!!! Perfect place for our family vacation. Enough room for everyone and space to not feel cluttered! Beautiful views & beautiful amenities!!! Simone was beyond helpful!!! Such an amazing woman and made so many amazing experiences with her! She made the entire trip seamless! She took us on our snorkeling tour & to spend the day with Indigenous Boruca Sergio & his mom. Such a beautiful experience. Vlad, our chef, was AMAZING!!!! He made each of our meals better than the next & my birthday extra special!!! We caught tuna & he switched it up and served it fresh that night!!! His bartending skills were on point too and he became like family!!! Don’t hesitate on staying here I promise you’ll love it!! The pictures are beautiful but don’t show the depth of just how amazing it is!!! So be sure to utilize Simone for some of your experiences/excursions & book Vlad’s chef services!!! Pura Vida!!!!

Nice and clean, loved the pool and proximity to town. Hosts were responsive and even replaced a coffee maker that we were unable to pour without spilling - lol, could have been user error. So, to answer the questions that we had before staying there: 1. There are three cows next door and they come to visit, but there is no overwhelming manure smell or issue with flies that we observed. 2. There is now a building DIRECTLY next door, but to be honest, I was glad it was there. The landscaping is nicely done, filling in, and the building is painted nicely and offers the privacy I was hoping for. 3. The common area isn't real big, and you can make it comfortable with the provided fans. The home is beautiful, we enjoyed ourselves here, and would stay here again

Our stay was amazing, we would definitely book again! It was a long walk to town but transportation was there within a couple of minutes each time and only took about 4 minutes to get to downtown La Fortuna!

This cabin was beautiful, and exactly how it was described. We had a great 2 night stay, everything in town was easily accessible. The hot tub on the balcony was so nice with a great view. David was also very kind and responsive! This place is definitely a 10/10

Roy's place was the best!! Very close to La Fortuna yet it was tucked away and peaceful. The hot tub was awesome to have and there were all kinds of beautiful birds in the backyard throughout the day. Roy himself was great too! He made us some delicious margaritas at his bar the night we got there and brought us a fresh pot of coffee from his house when we realized our coffee maker wasn't working. He also replaced the machine later that day! Couldn't recommend this place more!

We loved our stay at Magdalena’s house. It was like a private tropical paradise and Magdalena is the perfect host. Max planned our excursions for us and was SO helpful. The house was lovely but the backyard was amazing. The house features a wrap around porch with a comfy couch and chairs and large outdoor dining table. There is a separate large outdoor kitchen area with grills, additional seating and a hot tub. The infinity pool is steps away. The view from all vantage points is breathtaking and the grounds are landscaped beautifully. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms clean with rain showers and plenty of hot water. The AC worked perfectly and kept us cool. Esmeralda came daily and even did our dishes and laundry. The house is a 40 minute drive to the Arenal area. The main roads into La Fortuna were well maintained. The drive was long but easy. Shopping was a bit of a challenge but there are local “supermarkets” and a Maxi Pali in La Fortuna. Enjoy!

My husband and I stayed here for almost a week, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Costa Rica. The property is nestled in a secluded, private area that feels like your own little hideaway in nature. It’s perfect for a romantic escape. It gave off such a peaceful, treehouse-like vibe, and everything was beautifully clean and well maintained. One of our favorite features was the balcony with the jacuzzi, perfect for relaxing in the evenings while taking in the views. The host was incredibly friendly, responsive, and offered great local recommendations, including a few nearby restaurants we really enjoyed. While it’s about a 30-minute drive from downtown La Fortuna, we honestly didn’t mind it at all. The tranquility and beauty of the property more than made up for the distance, and we’d absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat.

I loved all the amenities, my girlfriend loved spotting local birds. The place was beatiful and peaceful.

This place is awesome. Secluded yet right by everything. The tree frogs come out at night and sing you to sleep and the tropical birds awake you in the morning. There is a bit of a construction site near by, so a bit of noise if you like to sleep in, but nothing too major. You can walk anywhere in town that is necessary, but we had a car and found parking easy and convenient. Host was responsive the whole time and extremely helpful. The hot tub made this place feel truly amazing. 10/10 recommend
