Lorna’s place is idyllic if you’re looking for peace and tranquility, with amazing quirky features all over her property. Ideal place for dog owners and one of the most amazing beaches in Ireland, Inch strand is just 15 minutes by car from Lorna’s place! One can continue further on the coast road to Dingle and the views were breathtaking! Staff were incredible and as I arrived too late for dinner in the most unusual restaurant onsite, they obliged by making me a takeaway vegetarian meal, and that was delicious.

Wir hatten 9 wundervolle Tage auf der traumhaften Farm von Ian. Sehr ruhig auf nem Berg in der Nähe von Tralee. Wir haben von dort aus den ganzen Südwesten Kerry’s erkunden können. Absolut fantastische Gegend!!! Ian ist super entspannt, freundlich u d humorvoll. Hat sich regelmäßig mit uns unterhalten und wir hatten auch das Glück mit Einheimischen und ihm einen Farmrundgang mitzumachen! Sehr sehr interessant und wirklich empfehlenswert, wenn man der Großstadt entfliehen möchte, so wie wir! Danke!!!

We stayed here recently and it was such a beautiful place to stay, stunning views and Maggie herself was so nice and accommodating. After explaining to Maggie the reason we were staying she was so kind and so thoughtful and allowed us check out a little later. We absolutely loved our stay at Wendy’s. Adored the peace and quiet; and the beautifully rugged peninsula and the wild sea and beautiful beaches and mountains. Wendy was super helpful and friendly.

The place is very quiet and peaceful. Kids could explore without having to worry about them disturbing anyone. They loved cutting bamboo and feeding the donkeys. We loved picking and cooking fresh vegetables. Other than a little dust under the beds and behind the heaters, the place was clean. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen well equipped. Ian took us a tour around the farm on the first day and was very friendly and entertaining.

I wish we could choose above 5 stars! The property was far beyond expectations, the recommendations of pub and boat tours for seal watching. We couldn’t have asked for anything more, we had a friendly visit (or 2) from Coco. The vacation kitty. . Just an experience. . Wholeheartedly would recommend everyone to experience this stay. Sam and Miffy have done an absolutely wonderful job of offering Ireland to everyone in one stay. This was truly a stay in a class of its own. Especially for a traveling family. Laundry is on site and a full kitchen to keep tabs down. We cannot say enough good about the hosts! Absolutely wonderfully. We will be back.

Ein Traum für Naturliebhaber! Wir waren im blauen Gartenhaus untergebracht und wurden mit frischen Blumen begrüßt, Kaffee Tee und Milch und Honig standen bereit. Klein aber oho! Wir hatten mit dem Wetter Glück und so konnten wir mit Blick auf einen blühenden Weissdornbaum frühstücken. Nebenan im Gelände spielten Wildkaninchen und der Fasan war unser Wecker. Die Hunde der Familie schauten täglich vorbei und holten sich ihre Streicheleinheiten ab. Die zwei Pferde und der Esel freuten sich über Äpfel und die Hühner über ein wenig Gras. Das ganze Anwesen ist einladend um sich zu erholen außerdem sehr auf Nachhaltigkeit bedacht. Ein Ausflug nach Mizen Head - Irlands südwestlichstem Punkt lohnt sich, ebenfalls ein Stopp am Strand „Barley Cove“ bei sonnigem Wetter! Und die Krönung ist ein Besuch im Pub The Wild West in Goleen - sehr gute Küche!
