We had a very accommodating stay! The host was extremely kind and responsive—when we had some trouble with the Wi-Fi, she was happy to come over and did her best to help. While the Wi-Fi didn’t work well in the front room, she made every effort to resolve the issue. She also kindly moved us to another apartment so my daughter and I could have more space, which we really appreciated. Overall, it was a great stay and she was a wonderful host!

Really nice cosy cottage, perfect size for the two of us and even though it is attached to the pub there isn't extra noise because of that. Had a delicious meal at the pub on the Saturday night for our anniversary. A bonus would have been if there had been some bubble bath included for the lovely big bath upstairs, but overall a lovely weekend spent here.

This is an outstanding place, I have used many AirB&B’s but this was exceptional. Sue let us use the garage for our motorbikes which was fantastic. Sue has been exceptional through out the booking and stay. The house is beautiful, very well set out, very clean and spacious.

House is beautiful, modern and very well kept. Loved interior, and we had all essential including flip flops. Our host, Frankie and his wife are lovely friendly people, they live next door and Frankie quick to respond for any query. While we had car, it’s an easy distance from city centre. Durham has special memories for me and I would love to come back and stay here again.

The house was amazing would definitely recommend the castle next door for drinks. We really enjoyed our stay. The house was pristine and furnished to a really high standard! The beds were really comfy, the kitchen contained all the essentials, the shower was powerful and the house had a lovely atmosphere! We were really pleased that there is an EV charger to use at the property as this is something we look for when booking Air bnb's. The garden area was spacious and the furniture was really comfy. Mitchell was very helpful and responded to any questions as well as his family who are close by and very helpful. The location of the house is perfect to see a lot of the north east. We visited the beaches. Durham and Northumberland, all really easy to get to. Thanks so much for a great stay. We would love to come again!
