Its off the beaten track a little, and if you like that sort of thing and the only sounds will be mother nature's animals and birds calling out to each other in the surrounding countryside. It's a 10min drive to Westport, 1 hour to Knock Airport, Achill, Galway city and Connemara with an abundance of activates / shopping / dining on the doorstep. This is a renovated cottage located in a lovely rural area in North Mayo, it is just a few miles outside Ballycastle town on the wild Atlantic coast. The views of the sea are spectacular and the cottage provides a space to relax in after a day sightseeing the local area (you will need a car to get around). The cottage is on a working farm but other than the sound of sheep there will be nothing to disturb the peace and quiet you will experience in this beautiful cottage.
