On the walking side you can visit the surrounding area less than 20 km away the castles of Montreuil-Bellay, Saumur and Brézé (unique in its construction) and the troglodyte sites; for the pleasure of the palate, a tasting of our wines in the cellars will awaken your taste buds and discover the "Fouasses", specialties of the region. In the grounds of a 15th century château - featured in a number of home & interior magazines - this beautifully converted, spacious, former stables is set in glorious gardens with views over our 10-acre truffle orchard. Full of character and charm, thick local limestone walls keep the house cool in summer yet cosy during colder, truffle-hunting months. The covered terrace is perfect for alfresco dining.
