This residence offers you an idyllic setting, a unique Loire view of one of the most beautiful villages in France (Candes Saint-Martin). Ideally located in the Loire-Anjou-Touraine Nature Park, near the castles of Saumur, Chinon, Fontevraud, Montsoreau... It is the perfect base from which to explore the region both culturally and for sports.

In the grounds of a 15th century château - featured in a number of home & interior magazines - this beautifully converted, spacious, former stables is set in glorious gardens with views over our 10-acre truffle orchard. Full of character and charm, thick local limestone walls keep the house cool in summer yet cosy during colder, truffle-hunting months. The covered terrace is perfect for alfresco dining. You will stay in the 14th part of the former home of the Abbesses' Seneschal of Justice. This independent apartment, completely restored by an architect, combines the charm of a historic building with contemporary comfort. From your private terrace, you can watch the sunsets over the abbey. You are located 20 m from the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud and its museum, as well as all the shops and restaurants in the village. The banks of the Loire are a 5-minute drive away.
