Our renovated (in June 2023) suite is at the end of a no-through road and is only a 5-10 minute walk into the village to a fabulous, organic craft bakery, artisan shops, restaurants, a museum, a pub, a small grocery/liquor store and a popular ice cream/candy store. (Seasonal) kayak/paddle-board rentals & whale watching excursions for hire. Cowichan District Hospital 15 min drive.

Designed as a place for friends and family to gather, the Youbou Lakehouse is a sanctuary where you can unwind and connect with the natural world. Our comfortable one bedroom suite has everything you need to relax, and experience the beauty of vancouver island, with the ocean and a forest hike within walking distance. This is a family friendly space with televisions in the bedroom and living room, board games, bluetooth stereo and a dedicated work station. There are numerous wineries close by, noteably cherry point estates two minutes down the road. The suite does not share any of our spaces and includes dedicated laundry.
