Beachfront holiday rental in Cowichan Valley

We loved (!) our stay at Peter's remarkable home on Galiano Island. It is situated on what is probably the sweetest spot on Montague Harbour -- overlooking the comings and goings of sailboats and other watercraft in this sheltered and lovely bay. When sunset comes around, the panorama views are just the best. And it comes with its own private dock, a very short stroll away. The views from the home's wrap-around porch and from the deck chairs on the patio are really great, and there's nothing lacking on the inside either in terms of appearance, comfort, and charm. Inside and out, this place is an absolute gem, and it was a privilege to stay there. Thank you, Peter, for making it available, and thank you for being such a great communicator in response to my many questions about ferry times and directions and everything else. I hope we have the good fortune of staying here again someday!

Lovely little trailer situated on a peaceful property right beside the water. Loved how quaint my stay was. Comfortable accommodation given its a trailer and it has everything you need. Gifty is a ray of sunshine, she warmly greeted me upon arrival and was very helpful with local suggestions. 10/10 would recommend if you’re looking for a reasonably priced stay right on the water.

Not only is this home luxurious and immaculate, it is a nourishing step back in time where everything is hand-made, lovingly curated, and generously shared. I can’t recommend this little cottage enough. And if you’re blessed enough to walk the gardens, well…delightful doesn’t even come close. I really recommend this stay for a family or anyone looking to slow down and savour a beautiful time.

We had such a wonderful stay at Mason's. It was a perfect spot for out ladies weekend. It's a beautiful property and we enjoyed many delicious meals and laughs on the deck. The space was spotless! We are talking about booking it again next year.

This place was absolutely gorgeous, the photos don’t do it justice. The space is beautifully appointed with everything you could need. Such a peaceful spot to relax and unwind.

Lori's suite was so lovely - what a location! The guests were quite busy working (the reason for their stay), but they still enjoyed their time in the suite. Fresh baked cookies and a lovely bottle of wine welcomed them. Lori was great at communication and fast to respond to any questions. A great place to stay, definitely value for your money, and wonderful hosts. Thank you!

Our international artists appreciate having clean, comfortable surroundings when they travel, and a place where they can relax off-site from our music festival. They were effusive in their prisse of such nice accommodation. Life can be hard for a touring artists. Had a great stay at Kirsti’s cabin. Check-in was easy. Had everything I needed. Good location close to the water and to town. Linens were clean and soft. No wifi is a bit of a bummer but a decent dvd collection was great for the evenings. Great places to walk my dog!

We had a wonderful stay- the location is gorgeous and the condo was even better than the photos. Everything was clean and beautifully decorated. A beautiful place to recharge.

This was one of the best stays in our lives. The place, the views, the feelings was something out of ordinary. We loved the place from the very first moment we found it on the Internet and loved it even more when we arrived there. I would definitely recommend this place and would really like to go back there as soon as we plan another vacation.

We’ve stayed at the Inn Of the Sea many time and been lucky to stay at both of Tammy’s condos. We come and go from the area all the time for work and it’s hard to go back to a hotel after discovering the condos.

The unit was exactly as shown in the pictures. It was extremely comfortable for three people with a well-appointed kitchen, large dining area, private patio and a lovely view of the water. We enjoyed using the Inn of the Sea's pool, hot tub, and communal barbecues, and watching the sun come up with our coffees down on the dock. Where to begin… the clean, beautiful home, full of everything you need ; the pool and hot tub that we thoroughly enjoyed; the wilderness or the view from the condo… too many wonderful things to list ! Beautiful and peaceful place by the lake. I could sit at the patio for hours. Mandy's house felt like a home away from home. She was very responsive and left clear instructions of every house zone, which I really appreciate. If you're looking for a tranquility, it's your go to place.

We loved the house and the area. Kurt responded immediately to all out concerns, of which there were many. The area is lovely. We felt very welcome.

We found ourselves in town for a family service and Fiona was the utmost kind and supportive host we could have found. The space was absolutely perfect, spotless, serene, and comfortable. It was exactly as described and made a difficult trip much more easy, especially being by the beautiful ocean. We saw a ton of wildlife so the speed limits are absolutely necessary. Thank you Fiona, we will surely be back in the future.

Our stay was fantastic from beginning to end. This beautiful suite with a great view was just what we needed. It was clean, spacious and felt like home. Gary and Annemarie were exceptional hosts. Our morning latte and a huge breakfast was an excellent way to start the day. This is one of those trips that will never be forgotten because of the warmth and friendliness of our hosts. Gary’s omelettes and scones were a special treat not to be missed. I enjoyed spending time decorating shells with Annemarie - her knowledge of the island is vast! This is one of those rare gems that exceed all expectations. We will be back!

A beautiful and serene stay at this adorable cottage. Lots of love and care have gone into ensuring a most pleasant stay. Just a short drive from Gagnes village for restaurants and local artisans galore. Host was always responsive when needed. Bed was super comfy and the heated bathroom floor was a delight during the cooler evenings. Would highly recommend this quaint stay!

Tracy and John are fantastic hosts. They have everything you can think of and more within the unit. There were also some other little perks but don't want to ruin the surprise should you choose to stay here which you should. The view / location can't be beat. The lake is a few mins walk away; super clean (rocky so you may want water shoes) and there is a dock to jump off of. Separately, my luggage arrived late and they provided me with extra toiletries which was so thoughtful. They also regularly checked in on the situation which I really appreciated. I hope to be back!

Bridgette and Malcolm were wonderful hosts. Very friendly and welcoming. I felt right at home. I would definitely recommend staying in this beautiful garden suite with amazing ocean views. Until next time!!
