Beachfront holiday rental in Crescent City

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The beach was really close and beautiful, and uncrowded . The house has been well maintained and has had loads of extra spaces added. We used their grill which worked great, enjoyed their fireplace and the kids loved the game room. Super convenient to use the garage door for loading and unloading. Lots of parking places and really reasonable pricing! Thanks for the great memories!

Everything was great. Wonderful ocean view and access. Home felt larger than we expected.

Well aside from the crazy lady burning her cabin down a few street over the stay was just what my boys and I were after. The hosts were very fast at responding and went above and beyond the first night we were there given the minor issues with the neighbor and water. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. Side note screen shot her check in instructions before arriving because cell service isn’t there unless you have wifi.

This place is beautiful. You are surrounded by very tall trees everywhere. You can hear the river flowing from inside the house making it a peaceful stay. You have the most beautiful panoramic view of the woods. If you want to disconnect to enjoy nature, this is the perfect place. The cabin is made up of very old redwood and you can smell it as you walk in. Very nostalgic. The directions on how to get to the Airbnb make it very easy to get to there. We just had to make sure we looked at the map and directions ahead of time because there is no reception getting there. We got to see many deers and birds on the surrounding areas. We were also greeted by a banana slug! The place itself is beautiful and Jim was the most friendliest and helpful host. He gave us info on the trails and walk to the river from the Airbnb. I will definitely try to come back again later this year.

Our family had a wonderful time in this Airbnb. The hosts were very kind and responsive. They answered all of our questions right away. The house was very cute and well put together. We came with five kids, and we were all comfortable there. My kids loved the yard and the pool. It was very clean and well-maintained. We were close to beautiful beaches and the gorgeous redwoods. The Smith river is so beautiful and clean as well. We would love to return again in the future.

Great location for tide pools and exploring the beaches, plus easy to get to good restaurants and the like. Our family of 4 used it as a base for a spring break trip to the redwoods, both Jedidiah Smith State Park and the Klamath area, and it worked great.

Place felt like home. The host was very responsive and helpful. He was always available whenever needed. He made sure we had everything we need for our stay if we need anything he was making sure we get it. He went above and beyond to make sure we enjoy our stay. My 3 yr old enjoyed the small playground in the backyard and the kids table chairs provided inside. I would recommend this place! And would love to stay here again if i am in the town.

We loved this spot! Right by the beach and super cute house! We asked for a few suggestions and host was super friendly and helpful. It’s also close to the Redwoods and access to trails. Would definitely recommend!

Had a most wonderful time, beach combing, redwood walks and river walks, great seafood and many agates. A wonderful get away and celebration for a sister’s birthday. Intend to return.

Great value for a great location! It has easy access to both ends of town, sits along a quiet and accessible section of beach, and has unobstructed views of Castle Rock. The house is a bit tucked away, so you need to be watchful on the approach, but it has great private parking in back. It is an older home so it needs minor maintenance in places, but everything you need is there, clean and in good working order. Wifi was a bit slow for some streaming services, but otherwise we would be hard pressed to find anything to complain about. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen and bath were well-maintained, and we never had any issues during our stay. Instructions were clear, access was easy, and the house was stocked with everything we needed as we arrived. There was even bottled water in the fridge - which was greatly appreciated after a long commute! Thanks for a great experience - we would definitely use again!

We absolutely loved staying here! The house is beautiful and the views are incredible. Wherever you are in the house and yard you're guaranteed to have a good view and the pleasant sound of waves. The house itself was well appointed with clear instructions for everything. Water pressure in the shower was great. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody coming to Crescent City or seeing the redwoods!

We had a wonderful stay at the Octopus Suite! It was plenty spacious for 2 of us, very clean, and had everything we could have needed and more. Karen was an incredible host - communicative and provided so much helpful information about the suite, the area, etc. There we so many thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. The patio/firepit area overlooking the cove was such a bonus. We wish we could have stayed longer! Highly recommend if you want a quiet, comfortable place to serve as your home-base for exploring Brookings and the southern coast (and we went down to see the Redwoods too - so close!).

We loved staying at Randy’s place. You certainly can’t beat the view! The place was extremely clean; well stocked (except a pizza cutter). Wi-Fi was great. Beds and furniture was very comfortable. Should we return to the area; I would certainly stay here again.

Our family of 10 felt right at home in this place! Plenty of space, tons of amenities and it’s so close to everything we wanted to do. The house was clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. The beds were sooo very comfortable and we loved the ability to keep some rooms cool and some warm! Ping ping was the biggest hit and grandpa took home the champion title!

After a recent remodel, this home was in beautiful shape. Denise was scrambling to get everything ready when we arrived, but she was gracious and kind and provided everything we needed. All the rooms were clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. The deck and view of the ocean and harbor were fantastic. Our favorite parts were watching the ospreys hover over the cove and dive for fish, and playing guitar on the deck while we watched! I would definitely stay here again. Go for it and enjoy yourselves!

We had a wonderful stay at Scopa. There were eight of us in five bedrooms and we each felt like we had plenty of space to ourselves, plus great communal rooms to hang out together. Each bedroom was quiet at night and the house is set up very well for groups since each bedroom has its own bathroom. The kitchen is where we spent most of our time together and there was plenty of room for multiple cooks as well as many helpful cooking tools and ingredients (olive oil, spices, salt/pepper, etc). We came to the area to go visit Redwoods and the forests did not disappoint. Our only comments that may be relevant for other guests is that the town is not as walkable as we had hoped, though there was easy access to parks, restaurants, and grocery stores all via car. And the washer and dryer is not within the rental unit itself, but in an adjacent garage. It was very easy to access and use, but if you are someone who will have a lot of laundry at all hours, it is good to note. We highly recommend!

This place is really special, it's one of the rare airbnbs I've been to that felt so much better than the pictures. it's extremely comfortable and cozy, very clean, 3 beautiful bedrooms with great beds, ensuite bathrooms, and a great living space with open plan kitchen looking out onto the deck and an insane ocean view. we wanted to stay longer.

We had such a wonderful time! It was our first time to the pacific coast, and with the most perfect magical gateway to the beach directly from the property. The neighborhood was quiet, the beach was so much fun and beautiful! Two cities to enjoy just a short drive away!

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The location was perfect—close to downtown, shops, groceries, and an easy walk to Harris Beach. There were also lots of beautiful trails and stunning viewpoints nearby. The home itself was even better than expected. The ocean views from nearly every room were incredible. We loved the fully equipped kitchen, grilling on the ocean-facing deck, and enjoyed the pool table. There was also a poker table and various card and board games. TVs and Alexa devices were great bonuses. I particularly loved the stylish mid-century modern decor with tasteful Asian accents. It's clear the owner put a lot of care into preserving the charm of this 1940’s home, balancing sustainability and comfort beautifully. A big thanks to the hosts for making our stay so memorable. We wish we could've stayed longer and definitely hope to return. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing coastal getaway!
