Most likely you won't want to leave, just chill on the HUGE covered deck with firepit and chairs, sip your coffee/wine, BBQ some steaks, be....guests have access to the wood fired sauna and hot tub. Built by a renowned log cabin expert in 1982, the Paradise Cabin has been recently updated, is surrounded by the Chugach National Forest and directly next to the famous Moose Pass 'swimming hole'. This cabin is private, clean, cozy and perfect for a couple or small family looking to experience the many activities of the Kenai Peninsula. Perfectly located close to the beautiful seaside city of Seward, world-class king salmon fishing in Cooper Landing, and the charming town of Moose Pass.

The Bear Cub Cabin

Built by Alaskan gold miners in the early 1900’s, the Bear Cub Cabin was reconstructed in 2016. Nestled in the beautiful Chugach National Forest with towering Alaskan mountains right at your doorstep. This historical cabin is clean, cozy and perfect for a couple looking to experience the many activities of the Kenai Peninsula. Perfectly located close to the beautiful seaside city of Seward, world-class king salmon fishing in Cooper Landing, and the charming town of Moose Pass.

Fiddlehead Yurt 1

We are not your average getaway. Hidden in the rainforest canopy, spend the afternoon grilling on the porch while watching the eagles fly to and from their nest above the yurt. When your ready to wind down listen to the owls hoot around the fire ring while watching the sunset from exit glacier. A labor of love as my first home, I hope you get a slice of the serenity that comes with unplugging in this magical spot. If you’re lucky you’ll wake up to a moose or two in the pond.

A Cottage on the Bay

A cottage on the bay is a beach front house with 3 bedrooms, each looking out over Resurrection Bay. A well supplied kitchen and living room allow you to relax while watching the ocean and mountains. The large front deck expands into a sitting area with fire pit, looking over the beach. Stoke the cedar sauna and enjoy walks to the north and south while it warms up! The whales, sea lions, seals, otters and birds make this place truly unique.

Coho Cottage

Cute 1950’s cottage charmingly restored with antiques and nautical decor. It is perfect for two adults, good with a couple kids added or total of three adults but tight with 4 adults. Centrally located it is a 13 minute walk to downtown (.7 miles), 8 minute walk to the boat harbor (.5 miles), 5 minute walk to Two Lakes Park and a 2 minute walk to the gazebo on the lagoon. The fenced yard backs up to the mountain for added privacy.

Beautiful cabin with 3 bedrooms and large sleeping loft with 6 beds. Amazing 360 degree view at the treetops. Fish freezer, chairs, fire pits, new kitchen, car and boat parking in a quiet, serene, private area minutes from downtown Seward, amazing hiking and world class fishing. No dogs without permission, and please message me about this first. We have WiFi now. No parties, strict outside quiet hours are at 9:30.

Rustic Roots Cabins offers 7 nightly units. Our Seaside Indigo Cabin is nested right on the waterfront, with amazing views of Resurrection Bay. This craftsman cabin is rustic and has the feel of a modern houseboat at high tide. The cabin is quaint and perfect for 2 guests. It includes an en-suite bathroom, queen-size bed, sitting area, kitchenette, outdoor deck with BBQ, firepit ring, and private beach access.
