Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". We hope that a stay at the Temple will deliver this experience and stay true to this vision.

Lush crips white linens, high quality decor and Scottish accessories make you feel utterly cosy. It's rustic meets luxury. It's a way of life !

Located on the waters edge of Loch Katrine in the heart of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with washer/dryer, microwave, dishwasher etc. Linens are provided for your stay. For the 2026 season, we have a new hot tub and sauna available. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate a Sunday arrival or departure.

The tranquil village of Comrie is situated 2 miles away, with the picturesque town of Crieff, 6 miles away, with Glasgow and Edinburgh one hour away. Wallace Lodge is ideal for a quiet holiday, with a hot tub that could include fishing (additional cost) , golfing (additional cost), tennis, cycling or hiking.
