The property is an agriturismo on a high quality olive farm. We really enjoyed the tour that Anita gave us and we learned a lot about the production of good olive oil. The house is a simple, nicely done property with a lovely pool. The nearby Ionia coast is lovely. We were doing a long cycle trip - it’s preferable to have a car for this location as you’ll need to shop and there’s nothing nearby.

This was an exceptional stay in Calabria for me and my family. The villa is exactly as it seems. It is likely the nicest AirBNB that one will ever find in Calabria. The staff is exceptionally helpful. Rino & Caterina were available 24/7 to help us, we had daily cleaning service, and Gianni was our driver at a moment's notice anywhere we wanted to go, from Soverato to Tropea. We had a birthday party for 50 of our extended cousins and it worked out perfectly. The extra costs we paid (use of the van, daily cleaning, driving, and pool heating) were extremely fair and reasonable. Biggest tips -- have the pool heated even in June, and have the ladies come for daily cleaning - truly made it feel like a 5 star resort. Davide deserves tremendous credit for building such a special place in such a beautiful place in Calabria.

It was very good. The apt is a good size for 4 people. We were very accommodating and with everything we needed. Villaggio is beautiful and you can pay for the pool, but the beach is so good we found it unnecessary. We prefer to see the beaches around I loved these days in Paolo and Anna's apt.

Francesco and Guido welcomed us warmly and made sure our stay went smoothly. We stayed 17 nights in August. The place is beautiful, very well cared for and very peaceful. A place of other times cared for with extreme taste. The house has a beautiful patio where you can have nice dinners and the pool is a fantastic space when you want to relax. The sea is very close and offers a wide free beach (no amenities), but if you want to find equipped spaces nearby. To reach the house there is a dirt road to travel carefully, but absolutely feasible.

Our host Emanuele gave us a lovely, friendly welcome. In fact his other family members (who live in the adjacent property) were also very welcoming. The house was very comfortable with lovely sea views and a cooling breeze. The air conditioning in the bedrooms also worked really well. (It was very hot when we visited in early August). Any minor points we drew to Emanuele's attention were quickly dealt with. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. He was able to give us great recommendations for beaches and nice restaurants to visit. We especially enjoyed the lovely terrace with pool. Great to have three bathrooms plus an outdoor shower by the pool. We were made to feel very at home and at ease. Many thanks to the lovely Stranges family for their warm welcome on our first visit to Calabria. (Definitely not our last!). We will especially miss their wee dog Lucky... ;-)

Our stay at this Airbnb near Girfalco was wonderful. Tucked away in a rural setting, the property offered a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Every night, we could hear the wind whistling outside through the olive trees, which was very peaceful to fall asleep to. Francesca was a gracious host, and was always available for if we had questions or needed help. We had access to the whole bottom floor, which was quite spacious, comfortably accommodating our family of 5. The interior was charming, and the kitchen area was perfect for cooking and family gatherings. The wifi was a bit limited, but luckily we were able to use our phones as a hot spot. It was only about a 30-minute walk to Girifalco's local town for my husband and I - the roads are curvy with blind corners, so best to be careful or only drive if the kids are with you. If you're seeking a peaceful getaway immersed in nature's beauty, this Airbnb is a perfect choice. We would definitely come back again!

We stayed as three couples. Very hospitable location equipped with all comforts, suitable for groups of friends and/or large families. The breathtaking view overlooking the sea, which can be appreciated from the large garden and balconies, is hard to match. What can I say about Mr. Rocco: he is very kind, always available and with useful tips for enjoying good food and visiting the beauty of the place. We highly recommend it.

Comfortable and well-maintained accommodation with new and comfortable furniture. Andrea Maria was very hospitable and gave us excellent directions for dinner and also made the reservation at the restaurant. Very quiet environment surrounded by greenery and a stone's throw from the beach.

Exceptional accommodation above the city, in a private park of a historic palazzo, furnished with a lot of love for detail. Very friendly, helpful and committed landlords... Highly recommended!

Francesca was lovely and responsive to our messages, we booked very last minute but she was very accommodating to our arrival time. The flat was very clean and in a nice area, easy to find. We also had a flat tire the next morning which Francesca helped us out with massively. She was really helpful in calling a mechanic and getting us back on the road!

The house is very clean and spacious, very close to the sea, well equipped and with an affordable price. There is a large private parking lot right in front of the house. The hostess, Lia, was very kind and welcoming. This trip was really enjoyable!

The apartment is very centrally located, is large and spacious. It was very clean and Giacomo was very friendly, explained everything and was quickly available for questions.

The studio is inside a village equipped with everything where there is a square with all the amenities (market, pharmacy, restaurant, pizzeria, bar, bar, etc.). The village is also suitable for children and there is animation service. Possibility to use the pool and the beach for a fee, but with multiple free beaches including the beautiful Cupido beach about 500 m from the house. Clean, quiet and well-maintained environment. Friendly staff and attentive to maintenance. The house, with attached outdoor space bordered by hedges (excellent privacy) with table, is equipped with everything and has a vanishing bed; small studio apartment, but livable without problems for a couple. I recommend it to those who rent to visit Soverato, the beach of Caminia and a little further away the red beach of Le Cannella and for those who love the river there is the Oasis Restaurant of the San Nicola waterfalls about an hour away. Nice week, highly recommended.

we spent Christmas weekend in the apartment managed by Lorenzo, it was really like feeling at home. the accommodation was equipped with all the necessary useful: kitchen, washing machine, etc. Everything is functional and efficient. Great location, not to mention the beautiful view that overlooked the lake. we really enjoyed it and will definitely be back.
