Holiday rentals with a patio in Cumberland County

We had a great stay at Susan's place. Keep in mind of the second floor stairs as we had to bring our luggage up the steeper stairs, but wasn't a big issue for us. The place was clean and was great for my mom, daughter and me for a girls trip. We would stay again!

My boyfriend and I had a lovely stay. We enjoyed drinking coffee out on the patio in the mornings and cooking meals in the kitchen. The place was clean and just what we needed for the week. Victoria and Tanner were also very friendly and quick to reply to our messages. We would come back!

This Airbnb was amazing! It was extremely clean and looked exactly like the pictures. Haley and Diane were wonderful hosts and made sure we had a smooth check-in. The location is perfect because it is so close to downtown Portland and there are so many restaurants and activities to choose from. Furthermore, we had a group of 7 on our trip and we had plenty of space in this airbnb. 5/5 stars. I highly recommend this location!!

John was responsive and flexible. The area was quiet, an easy walk to the water and close to some nice restaurants. Also, an easy and quick ride to downtown. His place was clean and comfortable. Great place to stay if you are visiting Portland.

This was a great place to accommodate five or six people. The kitchen was well equipped with all the tools we needed to cook at home, including several spices. We enjoyed a lovely patio to sit on in the back. There were a few board games available that we enjoyed. This was a great option!

Nice 2 bedroom apartment on 2nd floor of older home with lots of character and a lovely living room and dining room and a nice bathroom . The art supplies in the living room and the plants all over made the place feel like a home . Some uneven floors due to the age of the home and narrow stair case to 2nd floor might be difficult for those with mobility issues .

Perfect spot to stay in when you’re in Portland- even for just a night! This place felt clean, private, quiet and was in a great location. 100% will book here again if it’s available next time I have a Portland trip!

We had a wonderful weekend in Portland in this space! We brought our bikes and John provided us with a tarp to protect the bikes from the rain. The location was peaceful and perfect to bike to the nearby lighthouses and parks, and just a minute away from an adorable neighborhood coffee shop! The kitchen was stocked with supplies and basic spices, which was helpful since we like to cook when we go out of town. It was an amazing weekend and we would definitely stay here again!

This is the 2nd time I've stayed at Emma's place. I came both times for a workshop and ceremony that took place in both Freeport and in Portland. Drives to Portland were the longest, and not too taking, and I chose to stay at Emma's place BECAUSE of the way the house holds me: the spaciousness, the attention to art and wisdom, the lighting and unfussy-yet-design-inspired furniture choices, the plant life, the textures and colors: all these things are soothing and welcoming. It was a pleasure to drive "home" exhausted, knowing what it feels like to open that back door.

Kevin's place worked really well for my two dogs and myself. There is a fenced in back yard. I liked the setup of the primary bedroom with the attached full bath and laundry. Comfortable bed! Very quiet neighborhood and very convenient to access other areas of Portland. I really appreciated the back deck setup. I need to find the comfy chair they have out back for my own home! Clean and usable kitchen. Nice stack of Maine materials and recommendations for local items to check out. Overall, a very pleasant stay, thank you!

Just got back from our weekend stay . Beautiful space that looked just like the photos. House was spotless. The house is located in a very peaceful and private area. Our family enjoyed the kayaks on the pond during the day and the fire pit on the deck at night . Very relaxing weekend .

We had family in town for graduation and Amy’s place checked all the boxes for us. Plenty of room to spread out yet still be together. The bedrooms were roomy and cozy. Our little nephew loved the well-stocked bookcase that allowed him to have a different story every night. The trampoline and outside space were wonderful. We even used the barbecue. Would definitely recommend!

Our group was two small families with kids ages 6 and 8. Everyone had a great time. If you’re looking for a home to get out into nature, this is it. The private dock and lake gave us hours of time to play outside. Kayaks, paddle boards, and fishing off the dock was fun and all part of the house. Kids had a blast and so did the adults. Perfect for family summer vacation. We had a few rainy days but either played board games inside or went into Portland which is only 20-30 minutes away. Visited Mackworth Island in Casco Bay. Must do if you want to have a day excursion. The house well kept and easy to navigate. We spent more time outside on the lake than inside.

This was a wonderful stay! It was so cozy and peaceful. I wish I could have spent even more time in the cabin. Bethany was a wonderful host! Instructions were super clear and there were lots of activities and fun things to do!

We came for the half marathon in Portland. The house was perfect for the trip and we would stay again. Thank you.

This cute little cottage was perfect for my stay in Old Orchard Beach. My stay was in cold January but the cottage was warm and cozy. The highlight was being steps from the beach and being able to roll out of bed and catch the sunrise each morning.

What a great location for a quiet stay in Portland! It’s 5 minutes by car to the Old Port and easily walkable/runnable to the Back Cove Trail and even to downtown Portland itself. The condo is lovely and just as described. My family (2 adults, 2 kids ages 3 and 7) was very comfortable during our 3-night stay. Lastly, Colin was responsive and a great host.

We had a great time! The condo is clean, cozy, and comfortable. I highly recommend this AirBnB, especially for the beach proximity.

Pattie and John were good hosts, and they always responded quickly to our questions and needs. The place is small but quaint and exactly as it looks in the pictures. The beach is beautiful, and is easy to walk to as are several stores, eating establishments, and amusements. Its a beautiful area that is very family friendly. Please note that at the end of the listing it says "active train tracks behind the building". People familiar with "OOB" would know about the trains, but we didn't. So, 20-30 feet behind the condo are the "active" tracks, and active means trains are coming throughout the day and night. When they pass the street crossing they always blow the horn several times in addition to the usual train noises, and it shakes the condo. Our hosts did offer us earplugs and a noise machine to help muffle the sound. Please take note of this if you're a light sleeper or have a baby. Overall we had a great week in "OOB", and John and Pattie's place is a great spot.

Amazing apartment at a great location! Lots of character and the newly renovated kitchen was a plus. Very quiet neighborhood that allowed us to relax. We had a wonderful week with Brian's condo as a "home base" - we truly felt at home. It was chock full of small and big touches (toiletries/supplies! paper goods! plentiful sheets and towels! beach towels! to name a few) and surprises (generous snacks greeting us on arrival) that made us feel spoiled. The condo was a great size with an open kitchen/common area and large patio. We were familiar with the area but not Ocean Park Meadows, and were pleasantly surprised by the lovely property and amenities (especially the pool, pickleball, shuffleboard and cornhole) and how well maintained they were. The condo was a quick 2 block walk to the beach, made easy (even with alot of stuff and three kids) with the beach wagon available for our use. Brian was a perfect balance of being proactive, informative, and accommodating while letting us "do our thing". We loved how "our" beach was quiet and nestled between the more bustling OOB and OP areas; the neighborhood, too. We'll be back!

First time coming down to maine. Right in the center of everything. 10-20 minute drives (not bad). We ate at Pine Point Grille the first night and it was amazing. Second, we tried Dunstan’s Tap and Table. Had to wait 30 minutes, but was worth it. Great area, felt very homey. I would come back.

Excellent location with great restaurants & shops within walking distance, ample street parking, accommodating and friendly hosts, and a clean, bright space stocked with everything we needed for our long weekend in Portland!
