Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Cuxhaven

We have been there with a group of 15 people and have already taken such a vacation in recent years. We all have to say that the location of the house, the house itself and the host were really great. We would love to repeat such a vacation in this house with this host. Full five stars, because everything was perfect.

We had a really nice time in the apartment. It is ideal for families with children. The property is completely fenced, which gave us as parents a good feeling, and there are great play opportunities both inside and outside. The location is pleasantly quiet and secluded – perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. If you are looking for hustle and bustle or shops right on your doorstep, you are in the wrong place, but in about 10 minutes by car you can reach everything important: supermarkets, a snack bar and other places to go. It was exactly what we needed for us. We felt very comfortable and would come back anytime! ☺️

We were allowed to spend an extended weekend in Birte's house. From the first moment, we felt very comfortable. The accommodation is very cozy and offers everything you need for a relaxing stay. The quiet location in the middle of the countryside is particularly beautiful - perfect for switching off and relaxing. Thanks to the direct access to the dike, you can spontaneously watch the passing ships and sheep. The sauna is also a nice bonus (costs extra, but the price is okay). All in all, a completely successful stay – we will be happy to come back!

The accommodation as well as the operator exceeded our wishes. She was courteous, friendly, acted proactively and appropriately in the face of difficulties, made the garden available to us, was helpful with tips and arranged the accommodation very nicely. We will be happy to come back if we can.

We stayed for the second time in this really nice house and, together with our child and the dogs, felt very comfortable and welcome. Very friendly host, great amenities and a fenced garden. Highly recommended.

It was a fantastic accommodation, no human soul there, whether dog or human we could move freely. Everything was clean and everything you need was there. We felt very comfortable. The hot tub was the absolute highlight:-))) Will definitely be back

We were already very friendly and comprehensively informed about everything important before arrival. Even with questions, an answer came immediately - great communication! Check-in and check-out via the key box was totally straightforward and pleasant. The accommodation is very cozy and tastefully furnished – we felt completely comfortable with six people and a dog. Particularly beautiful: the open interior design ensures a spacious living feeling. In the summer months, it gets light quite early in the morning, but that was not a problem for us - it contributed to a relaxed start to the day. If you're looking for peace and nature, this is the place to be. Nevertheless, you can quickly reach more lively areas if you want to do something. For us, it was the perfect place for a long, relaxing weekend. Absolutely recommended!

It was a very nice short break, the location is great, just a few steps to the North Sea and the beach. Restaurant within walking distance. The hostess was very friendly and everything worked out great. The cottage is very cozy and tastefully decorated, in the kitchen is everything you need. Comfortable beds, good duvets and pillows let us sleep well. A nice garden with a large table, enough seating and a great beach chair as well as a grill and bicycles are also available, so everything is great!! We'd love to come back!! (the only drawback is the slightly small bathroom, but it's enough for a few days)

The few days at Volker's were very nice. We felt right at home after we were very warmly welcomed by Volker. The apartment is the perfect place for a break, and we got numerous tips for beautiful excursions. Volker was always a helpful point of contact and impeccable host. My child was able to feed Volker's chickens and collect the eggs, we were allowed to help ourselves in the spacious herb garden and pancakes were fried for us by the common campfire. Thank you for the wonderful time! We will hopefully come back. :-)

We had a great time staying at Yasmin's place. She was extremely friendly and welcoming and gave good information as well about the area. The kitchen was well stocked as was the apartment in general and I think exactly as described. And the chickens made for friendly (and curious) neighbours.

Great, cozy, modern accommodation. Everything as described. We felt more than comfortable.

The apartment was very nice and also very clean. We were well received and briefly briefed. There was everything we needed and we had a good time. Surroundings is quiet and beautiful. The special highlight was the whirlpool and the sauna. Thank you for the great place 👍🏻😊

Stefans place is great. Accommodation is very large and private and very peaceful clean and well equipped . The home has everything you need for long and short stay and it's lovely to be able to sit out in garden and relax in the evening. The property is 2 minutes drive to groceries stores and resturants and great location for anyone who does not want to be in the center of Hamburg but easy to reach in 23 minutes by car and local train and bus also available near by . Stefan is always available and very friendly and you need anything he always responds fast. I definitely recommend Stefans property and it feels like being at home away from home and really beautiful home. Thank Stefan for everything Will definitely come back again if in Hamburg.

We were expecting a spacious house in the 60s/70s style with an equally large property. All rooms and the garden are really huge, this one is also really beautiful. The house is right on the west coast clinic, walking distance to beautiful downtown. We didn't lack anything in terms of amenities. We felt like we were immersed in a strange family life and treated everything with respect.

Our stay at Philippe’s place in Hatten was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, Philippe made us feel more than welcomed—like part of the family. The house itself was clean, cozy, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. What truly stood out was Philippe’s exceptional hospitality. He went above and beyond to ensure that our trip was smooth and enjoyable, helping us with things we didn’t even expect. His local tips and personal assistance made a huge difference and added a special touch to our experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Sasha’s home is an absolute dream — like stepping into a postcard. A charming house nestled between woods and fields with horses, it's pure countryside bliss: no cars, no city noise, just peace. The perfect escape for a work detox. And just 15 minutes' walk or 5 minutes by bike from the magical Worpswede that feels like a living museum, rich with art and stories. I will come back😎

We particularly appreciated the quiet location and the comfortable bed – we slept wonderfully. The kitchen was also well equipped, so we could easily self-cater. The contact with the host was friendly, quick and straightforward. You can tell they're working with heart and mind. We felt very comfortable and would come back anytime. Absolutely recommended! Very nice area not far lake and sea.

Lovely old mansion home. 2 good large bathrooms, good large bedrooms with good mattresses as well as duvets/pillows. Despite visible rental wear, the house appears clean and tidy. A lovely home close to public transport train/bus within 5 minutes. Will definitely rent this place again
