Welcome to my cabin in Gopshus! This is where you go to lower your heart rate. The cottage is located at the end of a promontory by Lake Spjutmosjön and the view from the kitchen window is something very special. It was built in the 1950s and renovated in 2008 (not the bathroom). In the kitchen you have to challenge yourself in cooking on the wood stove, which is not so difficult if you think about baking and soufflés where exact temperatures are necessary. 🙂 In the living room, there is a fireplace and sofa bed for two. Possibility of extra beds are available.

The accommodation is a separate guest area in the house with its own entrance. It consists of one bedroom with a double bed and a large living room with a bunk bed, kitchen area and seating area. In the bathroom, there is a toilet, shower and washing machine. A large balcony faces the lake, with seating under a pergola, and guests have their own access to the entire balcony. Possibility to borrow a rowboat and life jackets. Towels and sheets are not included, but are available to rent for SEK 150/set. Cleaning is not included in the accommodation.

Fishing license must be purchased in the Affären i Lekvattnet electricity online at Ifiske. You can relax at the place or go on Finnskog's hiking trails, go cross-country skiing in the middle of summer in the ski tunnel in Torsby, about 40 minutes to 2 alpine facilities (Hovfjället and Ski Sunne), We use the cottage very myself so please let me know before booking!!! Charming old house on a classical Dalarna farmstead. Quietly situated near lake Siljan. Guests have access to their own part of the garden. The house is 80 sqm, with two bedrooms, lounge and fully equipped kitchen. DEPARTURE CLEANING, SHEETS AND TOWELS INCLUDED IN PRICE. A frequent comment from our guests is that their visit was too short. We recommend minimum three nights - there is much to see and experience, for all ages, in the area.
