Clean, compact with everything we needed. Beach was a 2mins walk, so perfect for a quick dip. Communication was clear and promptly responded too. The couple downstairs were helpful and friendly. Small supermarket and bakery 2 mins away. 20mins walk into Chania via main roads or along the coast. Being out of the city made parking very easy on all local roads. Lots of places to eat and great location for discovering whole west area. We were left some wine, oranges, breakfast items and Raki, so thank you for making our stay so welcoming.

The views from this place are beyond breathtaking, especially at sunset! This is an area that is just walking distance from the touristy spot and is very peaceful. My bf was worried about smell and sound being above a restaurant, but there were zero issues. It’s practically sound proof. We sat on the balcony multiple times a day to people watch and listen to the beautiful street performers. We must have missed it in the listing, but please note that this is a home someone lives in. So you don’t have as much storage as you would in an Airbnb dedicated to guests only. We had one closet, two drawers, and could store suitcases under the bed. Not much storage or counter space for our things, but the host did say we could use anything in the house which was nice for cooking our own meals. Highly recommend the brunch and coffee at the Sandbar! Would definitely recommend this spot, especially for couples. The bed is a thick memory foam mattress and was very cozy & comfortable. We slept great!

Do not hesitate to book this location for your stay in Chania. It is perfectly walkable and the parking spot for the car was so convenient! The host is very responsive and friendly. Everything was very clean. There is a supermarket close by for all grocery needs. We would definitely stay here again!

Mieszkanko bardzo przytulne , w spokojnej okolicy, blisko do centrum i przy wylocie na główną drogę jeżeli chcecie trochę zwiedzić inne miasta na Krecie. W okolicy jest darmowy bus do centrum, wiec warto z niego skorzystać, gdyż w mieście trudno znaleść parkingi . Eleftheria zadbała o to , by turyści czuli się tu dobrze, dobrze wyposażona kuchnia i niezbędne rzeczy w łazience. Apartament exactly as described in the picture, check-in went smoothly, instructions easy to follow , host very responsive . Thank you Eleftheria for allowing us to stay in your apartment and feel like home away from home. We recommend that place to everyone who want to have a good experience in Chania.

This was my best stay ever! This Airbnb was ideally located, providing easy access to both the old town and the beach. Maria, the host, was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. She offered numerous helpful suggestions for activities and dining, and even assisted with booking a taxi to the airport and accommodated a late checkout. The apartment was equipped with all the essentials, including beach towels, an umbrella, kitchen appliances, and a drying rack.The decor was beautiful, and the space was impeccably clean. We would definitely stay here again.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in der Wohnung von Lito. Die Wohnung ist geräumig & bietet viel Platz. Mein persönliches Highlight ist der Ausblick von der Terasse im 2. oder 3. Stockwerk bei Sonnenuntergang auf die Berge! Der Balkon im 1. Stockwerk lädt zum Frühstücken ein. Lito ist immer sehr gut erreichbar gewesen & hat gute Empfehlungen für die Region gegeben. Für das Mietauto gab es immer eine Parkmöglichkeit an der Straße in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Lage insgesamt ist optimal, wenn man ein Mietauto hat. Man ist innerhalb von 5 Minuten im Zentrum. Wir können die Wohnung definitiv weiterempfehlen!

What a gem! Giannis and Effi were amazing hosts and their place is so beautiful. The terrace was our favourite place to be. I was with my mom who has limited mobility and it was a comfortable stay for her too. You can walk to the Old Harbour from their place easily (mostly flat and then downhill). There is lovely bakery, cute, coffee shop, deliscious Eastern Euro takeout restaurant and minimal right downstairs on the block and the next block. Our fridge was stocked with beverages (water, juice, Coke, beer). Our bathroom had wipes, lotion, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. They were very responsive and helped arrange our transportation to and from the airport. Will stay here again every time we are in Chania!

The host was very helpful in every way, and walking distance to everywhere. It was our first time in Crete and I would highly recommend per home due to its location

Very charming accommodation in the heart of Chania‘s historical center. 2 min away from the Venetian harbour.

Se amate una vacanza fuori dai sentieri conosciuti, lontano dalla folla delle località turistiche... questo è il vostro posto. La casa si trova in un piccolo villaggio attaccato alla roccia con una vista mozzafiato sulla gola di Rokka. La terrazza che dividerete con altri ospiti, è perfetta per godersi la colazione o l'aperitivo. Da sapere che ci sono dei gatti che vengono alla ricerca di cibo... per eventuali allergici.. Marianna ci ha fatto trovare del cibo per la prima sera ed è sempre stata reattiva per risolvere qualsiasi quesito o problema. Rokka è il posto ideale per esplorare le spiagge del nord ovest dell'isola e Chania. Per le spiaggie a sud ovest ci vuole almeno un'ora di macchina. Portiamo via con noi dei ricordi bellissimi Grazie

Εξαιρετική διαμονή για την περιοχή Χαλεπα στα Χανιά!! Πολύ φιλική και εξυπηρετική συνεννόηση. Το διαμέρισμα ήταν πολύ καθαρό και σύμφωνο με την περιγραφή, και μας παρείχαν και πάρκοκρεβάτο για το μωράκι!

Our stay was great! The hosts were incredibly responsive and very helpful. The apartment was clean and looks just like the photos.

We had a lovely but short stay at Valia’s very spacious apartment for our family of 5. The wrap around balcony was a treat and the rooms stayed cold and dark to allow us to sleep off our jet lag. Nice and close to old town Chania and lots of spots nearby for coffee/wine and pastry!

We had amazing few days staying here. The apartment is beautiful and clean, in a great location, out of the way enough from the busy centre but just a short few minute walk to Chania town centre and the beach. Would definitely recommend. Thank you!

Fantastic place. Great views from the sun terrace overlooking the bay, so could sit and watch boats and cruise ships on their way to Chania. Only 5 mins walk down a gentle hill to the beach, shops & restaurants. Felt very private, although there were other apartments there, it is laid out so you are not overlooked. Everything was spotlessly clean on arrival and apartment staff were there every day keeping the pool and surrounding areas clean & tidy. Gas BBQ on the terrace was great. Good choice of restaurants along the beach, as well as a few small supermarkets in the centre. 40 mins drive from the airport and well positioned for visiting Chania (which was beautiful) and exploring the area. We had a thoroughly relaxing stay and have already recommended it to friends, and would definitely stay again. Kreta Eiendom's team were very responsive, when we had a small issue during our stay.

Excelente estadia, com check-in flexível a qualquer e estacionamento. É necessário carro, fica a 10minutos do centro de chania. Piscina impecável, espaço exterior muito bem aproveitado. Interior não é muito grande, mas excelente com todas as comodidades necessárias, ainda com miminhos que os donos deixaram. Sem dúvida recomendo a hospedagem!

Es war super schön hier. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und die Kommunikation verlief reibungslos. Die Unterkunft ist wie auf den Bildern. Man ist ein bisschen am Berg oben, was super schön ist, da es dort viel ruhiger ist. In die Stadt und zum Strand kommt man super zu Fuß. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Die Unterkunft und generell die Anlage drumherum war sehr gepflegt und wir haben uns dort super wohlgefühlt. Der Pool und die Aussicht von hier aus war echt toll. Die Anlage liegt in den Bergen mit einem Weitblick zum Meer - echt schön 😍 Claudia und Marco waren sehr freundlich und immer erreichbar, falls wir Empfehlungen für die Gegend benötigt haben 🙂 Wir hatten insgesamt eine sehr erholsame Zeit 🥰

L’appartement était bien équipé et il était situé dans un petit village tranquille. Lors de notre arrivée, il y avait déjà des produits de base dans le réfrigérateur, ce qui était très apprécié. L’appartement était très propre et très bien équipé pour un court ou un long séjour. La piscine était très propre et nous avions quatre chaises réservées pour notre logement. Les plages de sable et de galets se trouvent à une distance raisonnable de l’appartement; il y en a plusieurs à visiter en Crète.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour chez Maria. Hôte chaleureuse. La piscine magnifique. Et l'appartement très propre, bien agencé et agréable. Maria a été à notre écoute. Merci beaucoup pour ce séjour.

We spent almost 2 months at the Menelaos and everything was good. The apartment is in a peaceful neighborhood, not far from the center ( ~ 15 minute walking). The place is simple, but it has everything you might need for a longer stay. The outdoor space is very nice, we enjoyed mostly the barbeque as we stayed during the winter, but the pool is definitely worth it during summer time. We both work remotely and never had issues with the internet. For us the place was perfect as you have everything you need at walking distance (gym, weekly farmers market, coffee shops and restaurants, veterinarian etc). Menelaos was available all the time for any question/issue that we had. Definitely recommend the place for longer or shorter stays.
