Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Daratsos

The place was great. Location was perfect for us: close to some true gems food wise, beaches, wineries, etc. We loved it. We stayed 1 week, so we truly got a chance to enjoy it. Was also able to yoga in the morning with a view on the olive trees. All the little attentions made us feel welcomed.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the property for 5 days and were very please with our stay. The apartment is on the first floor of a beautiful modern house. The apartment was very well equipped, there was nothing missing. Highlighted is the beautiful terrace with Jacuzzi. The location is great. It is about a 15-minute drive to the center of Chania. Several beaches are within walking distance. The house itself is quietly located. It offers a good starting point for exploring Crete. Katerina and her husband are great hosts. Upon arrival, a fresh Greek salad, oranges and wine awaited us. We got fresh vegetables from the garden a few days later. Katerina was always available and very friendly. We felt very comfortable. Overall we would recommend the accommodation! 5/5 stars!

We really enjoyed our stay at this vacation home. The location is quiet and offers a great view of the sea – perfect for unwinding. The house is tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you need. The landlords were friendly and helpful and made the stay pleasant. All in all, a nice house for a relaxing beach vacation.

Desiree was an impeccable accommodation. The place was everything we could have dreamed of and more…location, decor & special touches were top notch. The host Maria was responsive, and her helper Manousos was the nicest man who met us to provide the keys and showed us the place. We loved that this place also comes with parking. Maria’s mom had put together 3 containers of her chicken and potatoes for my family upon arrival. We were also treated with a bottle of wine, snacks, fruits, and bottled water. A water gun was left for our son. We would definitely stay again on our next visit to Chania.

The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. The place was super clean and everything well maintained. Just felt right at home with an amazing view, great beds and a beautiful atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Absolutely magical! Roula’s stone house is an incredibly picturesque and charming place to stay. The terrace is a dream – shaded naturally by a tree and offering a stunning view of the sunset. The house is beautifully and comfortably furnished, with everything you might need. A little heads-up for tall people: the doorway to the terrace is a bit low – you might want to duck (don’t worry, we laughed every time!). There are some fantastic tavernas just around the corner, and it’s the perfect starting point for scenic hikes through the area. We loved every minute of our stay and would come back in a heartbeat!

Our stay was lovely. The apartment is very nice, clean and everything necessary available. Theodoros is a very friendly and accommodating host.

A place to feel good - we were not here for the second time without reason! The accommodation is clean, well-equipped and ideally located – you are on the beach in a few minutes, but still quietly and relaxed. It was already our second stay, and this time we felt completely comfortable. A very special thank you to Vagelio: she is incredibly warm and helpful. When I suddenly fell ill, she immediately supported us – with as much care as if we were family. This is not a given. 🥰 We can only highly recommend the accommodation and will definitely come back!

Great place in Chania, less than 10 min drive to the city center. Beautiful big room/studio with everything you need, it’s so clean and peaceful. Wonderful pool, overall recommend!

We stayed at Roula's house and, from the beginning, communication was quick and easy. He personally wanted to wait for us even though the arrival was scheduled before midnight, and we appreciated this very much. The house is very nice and technological. The rooms are very clean. Beautiful outdoor veranda with large table for breakfast or dinner. Nice TV, even though we didn't use it. Quiet area with great bakery and nice supermarkets, outside the city but very easily accessible. I highly recommend it!! Whoever takes it will surely be fine.

Hidden gem! Loved this home, literally two minute walk to Golden Beach. Katerina is so sweet (she met us in-person, had local restaurant recommendations, and even provided a bottle of wine). The home was perfect for our group of 6 (great value for the money, too). Would 100% come again!

A Place of Magical Sunsets How wonderful it feels to write this review after our three-week stay in this fantastic apartment. Cozy, bright, spacious, and meticulously designed down to the smallest detail. We stayed here with our two children and my mother, and everyone was absolutely delighted. The caring host, Afroditi, welcomed us with wine and fresh fruits, and gave us excellent recommendations for local cafés and restaurants. We particularly loved Fourogatoss—definitely worth mentioning! We truly felt at home here, enjoying soft towels, air conditioning in every room, spotless white bedding, beautiful dishes, and, of course, breathtaking sunsets right from the living room windows. Surrounded by greenery, the terrace was fragrant with flowers morning and evening, and we woke up each day to the gentle sound of birdsong. The apartment’s location is perfect, with stunning beaches within walking distance—we especially recommend Golden Beach. Falassarna Beach is a pleasant 50-minute

It was a great size apartment with a great outside space. The pool was lovely. It is a modern clean living space with fabulous welcome touches having wine, homemade pies fruit and cake, Anastasia changed towels on request and gave us recommendations of restaurants. Always available for enquiries, would certainly recommend to anyone looking for a stunning apartment

We had a great view to the sea from the apartment and we found free parking and beach equipment. The area is not so scenic for a walk but the bus station to Chania Town is 1 minute away and we got into the heart of the city in less than 15 minutes. The rooms were clean, we had everything we needed for our 3-night stay. A very nice accommodation, the only thing that could be improved is the double bed which was a bit squeaky :)

This is absolutely our favorite Airbnb that we've ever stayed in (and we've stayed in a lot). The place is adorable. Katerina is very responsive and lives right by the apartment. The view is wonderful, and both the living room and twin bedroom have doors that open onto that view. It has everything you need and more, with Katerina providing treats and even cereal and milk for that first morning. The air conditioning worked well, but there is also a lovely breeze from the sea. There are tons of restaurants and cafes just below the apartment as well as with 5 and 10 minutes walk in Old Town. It would be comfortable for a couple and a third person (such as a child) or two people, each with their own room. The washing machine was great to have, and you can dry clothes on the lines off the balcony. We did not want to leave.

It was an amazing staying in Stefania’s house I’m very happy for the hospitality we had , she prepared a lunch for us when we arrived that was the kindest thing an air bnb owner did for me but beside this speaking about the house my family and I were amazed because the house had really everything EVERYTHING Landry iron iron table hairdryer all kitchen appliances That was the most complete house I ever had and I really was happy for this experience I feel so satisfied .thank you Stefania may the Lord bless you and your family :)

Anastasia’s apartment is really nice, the view is amazing, and the surrounding neighbourhood is peaceful perfect for a peaceful trip.

We had a very good stay in the apartment. The welcome was perfect, the place matches exactly the photos. The plus is the outdoor shower: very nice by 35 degrees. If we go back to Chania, we'll book this place

Amazing place with an amazing view. Extremely clean with extremely pleasant and responsive hosts. We flew in late and they even met us in the city centre to pick us up. It’s about a 20 minute walk away from the city centre (easy walk) and the perfect place to escape into quiet without ever being too far from it all. Couldn’t recommend this place more- thanks so much!

Our stay here was absolutely fantastic! Aggelos is extremely friendly, helpful, and responsive. He provided recommendations for restaurants and things to do. The apartment was spotless when we arrived and had everything we needed for our stay. The place is very close to the downtown area with many shops, restaurants, and bakeries. It was also a quick walk to the bus stop. We could not recommend this place enough!

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay in Chania. Our host was extremely responsive with any questions that we had and answered them within just a few minutes! We had a lovely time exploring all the surrounding areas as we were quite central to a lot of great restaurants, beaches, and supermarkets. Thanks again for the great accommodation!
