Clean, compact with everything we needed. Beach was a 2mins walk, so perfect for a quick dip. Communication was clear and promptly responded too. The couple downstairs were helpful and friendly. Small supermarket and bakery 2 mins away. 20mins walk into Chania via main roads or along the coast. Being out of the city made parking very easy on all local roads. Lots of places to eat and great location for discovering whole west area. We were left some wine, oranges, breakfast items and Raki, so thank you for making our stay so welcoming.

The views from this place are beyond breathtaking, especially at sunset! This is an area that is just walking distance from the touristy spot and is very peaceful. My bf was worried about smell and sound being above a restaurant, but there were zero issues. It’s practically sound proof. We sat on the balcony multiple times a day to people watch and listen to the beautiful street performers. We must have missed it in the listing, but please note that this is a home someone lives in. So you don’t have as much storage as you would in an Airbnb dedicated to guests only. We had one closet, two drawers, and could store suitcases under the bed. Not much storage or counter space for our things, but the host did say we could use anything in the house which was nice for cooking our own meals. Highly recommend the brunch and coffee at the Sandbar! Would definitely recommend this spot, especially for couples. The bed is a thick memory foam mattress and was very cozy & comfortable. We slept great!

Do not hesitate to book this location for your stay in Chania. It is perfectly walkable and the parking spot for the car was so convenient! The host is very responsive and friendly. Everything was very clean. There is a supermarket close by for all grocery needs. We would definitely stay here again!

The apartment is very cozy, in a quiet area, close to the center and at the exit to the main road if you want to visit other cities in Crete. There is a free bus to the center in the area, so it is worth using it, because it is difficult to find parking lots in the city. Eleftheria made sure that tourists feel good here, well-equipped kitchen and necessary things in the bathroom. The apartment is exactly as described in the picture, check-in went smoothly, instructions easy to follow , host very responsive . This was my best stay ever! This Airbnb was ideally located, providing easy access to both the old town and the beach. Maria, the host, was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. She offered numerous helpful suggestions for activities and dining, and even assisted with booking a taxi to the airport and accommodated a late checkout. The apartment was equipped with all the essentials, including beach towels, an umbrella, kitchen appliances, and a drying rack.The decor was beautiful, and the space was impeccably clean. We would definitely stay here again.

What a gem! Giannis and Effi were amazing hosts and their place is so beautiful. The terrace was our favourite place to be. I was with my mom who has limited mobility and it was a comfortable stay for her too. You can walk to the Old Harbour from their place easily (mostly flat and then downhill). There is lovely bakery, cute, coffee shop, deliscious Eastern Euro takeout restaurant and minimal right downstairs on the block and the next block. Our fridge was stocked with beverages (water, juice, Coke, beer). Our bathroom had wipes, lotion, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. They were very responsive and helped arrange our transportation to and from the airport. Will stay here again every time we are in Chania!

The host was very helpful in every way, and walking distance to everywhere. It was our first time in Crete and I would highly recommend per home due to its location

Very charming accommodation in the heart of Chania‘s historical center. 2 min away from the Venetian harbour.

If you love a vacation off the beaten track, away from the crowds of tourist resorts... this is your place. The house is located in a small village attached to the rock with stunning views of the Rokka gorge. The terrace you'll share with other guests is perfect for enjoying breakfast or an aperitif. Be aware that there are cats that come looking for food... for those with allergies... Marianna provided us with food for the first night and was always responsive to any questions or problems. Rokka is the ideal place to explore the beaches of the northwest of the island and Chania. The southwest beaches are at least an hour's drive away. We're taking beautiful memories with us Thank you.

Great stay for Chalepa area in Chania!! Very friendly and helpful understanding. The apartment was very clean and in line with the description, and they provided us with a park for the baby!

We had a lovely but short stay at Valia’s very spacious apartment for our family of 5. The wrap around balcony was a treat and the rooms stayed cold and dark to allow us to sleep off our jet lag. Nice and close to old town Chania and lots of spots nearby for coffee/wine and pastry!

We had amazing few days staying here. The apartment is beautiful and clean, in a great location, out of the way enough from the busy centre but just a short few minute walk to Chania town centre and the beach. Would definitely recommend. Thank you!

Fantastic place. Great views from the sun terrace overlooking the bay, so could sit and watch boats and cruise ships on their way to Chania. Only 5 mins walk down a gentle hill to the beach, shops & restaurants. Felt very private, although there were other apartments there, it is laid out so you are not overlooked. Everything was spotlessly clean on arrival and apartment staff were there every day keeping the pool and surrounding areas clean & tidy. Gas BBQ on the terrace was great. Good choice of restaurants along the beach, as well as a few small supermarkets in the centre. 40 mins drive from the airport and well positioned for visiting Chania (which was beautiful) and exploring the area. We had a thoroughly relaxing stay and have already recommended it to friends, and would definitely stay again. Kreta Eiendom's team were very responsive, when we had a small issue during our stay.

It was super nice here. We were warmly welcomed and communication went smoothly. The place is as pictured. You're a bit up the mountain, which is super nice because it's much quieter there. The city and the beach are within walking distance. We were very satisfied.

The accommodation and the surrounding area in general were very well maintained and we felt very comfortable there. The pool and the view from here was really great. The complex is located in the mountains with a view of the sea - really beautiful 😍 Claudia and Marco were very friendly and always available if we needed recommendations for the area 🙂 We had a very relaxing time overall 🥰

The apartment was well-equipped and it was located in a small quiet village. When we arrived, there were already basic products in the refrigerator, which was very much appreciated. The apartment was very clean and very well-equipped for a short or long stay. The pool was very clean and we had four chairs reserved for our accommodation. Sandy and pebble beaches are within a reasonable distance of the apartment; there are several to visit in Crete.

The accommodation was great and everything went well with Maria. The apartment was clean and cozy. The location was good, but I recommend renting a car. I highly recommend the accommodation to everyone. 😊

We spent almost 2 months at the Menelaos and everything was good. The apartment is in a peaceful neighborhood, not far from the center ( ~ 15 minute walking). The place is simple, but it has everything you might need for a longer stay. The outdoor space is very nice, we enjoyed mostly the barbeque as we stayed during the winter, but the pool is definitely worth it during summer time. We both work remotely and never had issues with the internet. For us the place was perfect as you have everything you need at walking distance (gym, weekly farmers market, coffee shops and restaurants, veterinarian etc). Menelaos was available all the time for any question/issue that we had. Definitely recommend the place for longer or shorter stays.
