Views of the bay and the gulf. Sounds of the sea caress the front deck while expansive windows in the living spaces and the back deck are awash in the glow of spectacular sunsets. Private beach on the bay side, perfect for the youngsters with no big waves or rip tides. Access to fluffy white sands of the gulf beaches are a short walk just across the way out the front door. There've been some changes to Seasong. New walk-in shower, new deck chairs and remember those lost pixels in the TV?

Loosie's by the Beach is .3 miles to the beach, that is less than a 5-minute walk to the beach. No need to drive, park or pay for the public beach. It is centrally located in the middle of the island, approximately equal distance to the other west end beaches and the east end ferry at Fort Gaines over to Fort Morgan. It is 1 of 4 units (furthest from the road), enjoy the quiet peaceful pines all around with a covered porch and shade to protect you from the sun all day. Come and enjoy!

This place is absolutely amazing! This is my second time staying here and can’t wait until my next time. The house is so well stocked, clean and comfortable and the bed is also very comfortable. The location on the beach is hard to beat and the beach itself is very nice and not overly crowded. Amy is an amazing host and very responsive. I cannot recommend this house enough!

This home was so well appointed, it literally felt like home. I can’t think of a single thing we needed that wasn’t available and easy to find. It was so clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed all the amenities: bikes, fire pit, hot tub and beach accessories. We especially enjoyed the birds and peaceful neighborhood.

My husband and I loved our stay here! Everything was just like the photos. The beach is just a short walk over and so is the bay which was super convenient. We loved being able to sit on the deck on the front and the porch on the back and just hear and watch the waves!! I found the kitchen to be well stocked - plenty of seasonings, coffee & filters and dishes (nothing in fridge so no condiments which was fine). After reading other reviews we did bring our own throw blankets, hand soap and shampoo/conditioner and that made things much nicer for us!!! The house was clean! The bed wasn’t great but we slept just fine - the sheets are a bumpy texture but that didn’t really matter too much to us. There also was a funky smell in the bedroom on the window/curtain during our stay (didn’t mention it to them until our last day) but management responded quickly & said it will be resolved. Communication was great - had minor WiFi problems and they quickly came and fixed it! We LOVED our stay!

This is a stunning place from which to explore the island! You can walk over the dunes to the secluded beach nearby and take a swim all by yourself (not counting the pelicans and terns). If you want a bicycle to get around the island, there's currently just one rental in operation on the island -- Salty Dog. I recommend calling them in advance, and they can deliver the bikes to the place when you arrive.
