Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Dauphin Island

I highly recommend this place, especially if you have a large family. We only have the two of us and our dog, but the place is spacious, clean, and near everything. The host is friendly and responsive to any issues.

This place was perfect! Great proximity to the beach, especially considering it is a pet-friendly home. And, close to town if we needed anything. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. The beach was not the least bit crowded, and we had beautiful weather. We loved the layout of the house and how spacious it is. Plenty of everything for comfort and for a home away from home! The instructions were clear and posted in multiple places. The owner was very communicative and friendly. Definitely a place we would stay again and again! Thank you for a perfect vacation!

The house is super cute and cozy. The pier is a little unstable and definitely not safe if you have small children (we didn’t, but just FYI). We caught a few gafftop and a black tip shark from the pier. It was a nice, quiet little getaway.

Tyler’s house was a great place to stay while in the area. I would definitely rebook in the future!

Such a great place to stay for the weekend! We brought our boat to tie to the dock and were easily able to take it out each day. Kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with plenty of supplies, easy check in, and beautiful location. We will be back!

We had a lovely time at Tiffany’s place! The house is very close to the beach. You do have to cross the main road but the access felt safe for us and our kids. There were many beach toys and amenities which was very nice. The house and neighborhood were comfortable and quiet. It was fun to sit under the house on the swings and relax in the shade! It was easy to walk and bike around the island. We would be very happy to stay there again!

The house was wonderfully spacious and perfectly situated to enjoy the peaceful tranquility of the Bay side, while still being just steps away from the waves of the ocean. The beds were very comfortable, and the linens were clean and fresh. The kitchen was well-equipped with most essentials. We appreciated the courtesy supplies like laundry detergent and toilet paper to get us started, though you’ll want to bring extra toilet paper and trash bags for a longer stay. Erin and Nick were very communicative throughout our stay. We did have to wait to check in as housekeeping was still cleaning due to unforeseen conditions from previous renters but we just hung out by the pool until it was ready. The house was very clean and Erin and Nick offered a late check in to make up for the later check in. We had a great time on vacation with our son and dogs. The beach wasn’t too busy. We found a nice spot to set up and we had all the beach essentials we needed available to us. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a more laid back beach vacation. It will not be as busy as the orange beach strip but the caveat is that there isn’t much else around you as far as restaurants or general stores. So get what you need before heading into Fort Morgan! Erin and Nick were great hosts and their home was very clean and well stocked!

The condo was beautiful, spacious, and certainly great for a family with small kids. It is situated in a gated community at Laguna Key at the end of Beach Blvd (turn right at HangOut). The community afforded us increased privacy which is nice when you don't want to be around all the hustle and bustle of the main GS beaches. All the condo amenities were as described and perfect for us - they even had a pack n play and of course beach/pool toys. The private pool was a huge hit with the kids and so convenient. There was a community pool but we did not use it because of the private pool that was the right size and depth for small kids. The community access to the beach was a short walk. The beach was great and it was not ever crowded during our stay. Michelle was responsive whenever I messaged. We had an excellent stay and would stay here again next time we are in Gulf Shores.

Beautiful location, beautiful home-we especially appreciated the pool with 3 children under 6. I loved watching the dolphins. We also of course loved the beach and the proximity to the marina. Amy was very responsive and helpful-would love to return.

We booked this for a date night getaway and it delivered. The design of the house with the large windows was picturesque. The home is a great design with tall ceilings and natural light. It is what you look for in a stay away from your own home that is more of an experience.

We had a wonderful time at the beach. The house was great and very close to the beach. The pool was also a great feature.

Denise and Brad were great hosts! Their place was peaceful, quiet, and cozy. It was walking distance from the beach and they had provided chairs and umbrellas as well to take with you. Lots of good restaurants to choose from in the area for breakfast, lunch and dinner!

Great place; very beautiful. Loved the screened in porch with a beautiful view of Florida’s natural surroundings . Four deer 🦌 came to visit in the back of home- amazing. Too Quick a trip to celebrate daughter’s graduation. We will definitely be back. It was a great location for us. First time we were able to take our golden retriever on vacation . Sunny & 75 was a beautiful property, perfect layout and matched the pictures exactly. The private and spacious back deck overlooked the ocean and was a beautiful spot to catch both sunrises and sunsets. Each bedroom had an en-suite bath and the kitchen was very well stocked. We had a wonderful stay and would love to return.

Our spring break stay at “Shorely Blessed” in Fort Morgan, AL, was fantastic! The house offered stunning views, easy beach access, and a lovely private pool. It was spacious, pet-friendly, and provided a peaceful, private retreat. The hosts were incredibly responsive, friendly, and helpful, enhancing our experience. We’ll definitely be back!

We absolutely LOVED our house!!! You could tell it was new or newly renovated. The only complaint we have is that the ice machine didn’t work in the freezer (not a big deal). We’re looking forward to rented this beach house again in the future!!

We loved our stay at Sean‘s place! The pictures do not do it justice! We loved having four bedrooms with a king size bed in each! There is a full bathroom on the main floor and bath upstairs with a clawfoot tub, sink and toilet and a half bath in one of the bedrooms. The kitchen has all the pots, pans utensils and dishes you will need! We loved having the dock so close to the house and the relaxing porch with the hot tub! The neighborhood is peaceful and walkable. The West End Beach is just a few minutes drive by car. It is the most accessible beach on the island with bathrooms. We highly recommend getting shrimp steamed with potatoes, corn, and sausage from Skinners! This house was so conveniently located. We definitely recommend it.

My husband and I loved our stay here! Everything was just like the photos. The beach is just a short walk over and so is the bay which was super convenient. We loved being able to sit on the deck on the front and the porch on the back and just hear and watch the waves!! I found the kitchen to be well stocked - plenty of seasonings, coffee & filters and dishes (nothing in fridge so no condiments which was fine). After reading other reviews we did bring our own throw blankets, hand soap and shampoo/conditioner and that made things much nicer for us!!! The house was clean! The bed wasn’t great but we slept just fine - the sheets are a bumpy texture but that didn’t really matter too much to us. There also was a funky smell in the bedroom on the window/curtain during our stay (didn’t mention it to them until our last day) but management responded quickly & said it will be resolved. Communication was great - had minor WiFi problems and they quickly came and fixed it! We LOVED our stay!

We were very please with the house. It was clean and comfortable and the pictures described it exactly. The back yard was very nice and the amenities underneath the house were awesome. You couldn’t see the water but it’s close enough to walk but we found it easier to drive. Amy helped us out with the parking permits to be able to park at certain locations on the beach. We will definitely rent again.

My three younger siblings and I came for our sister senior trip, and it was an absolute blast! The beach was just a short 2-minute walk away, and the view was beautiful . We even stayed in for a day because of some storms, but it still felt like a vacation. The house was so cozy and inviting, it made us feel like we were on our own little island. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun and memorable vacation!

This is a stunning place from which to explore the island! You can walk over the dunes to the secluded beach nearby and take a swim all by yourself (not counting the pelicans and terns). If you want a bicycle to get around the island, there's currently just one rental in operation on the island -- Salty Dog. I recommend calling them in advance, and they can deliver the bikes to the place when you arrive.

Beautiful area , very quiet. Great view from Porch. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen well stocked with lots of appliances. Clean overall. Bathrooms were fine. Not fancy but an overall great place to stay. Looks like exterior is being upgraded but interior was totally fine. Will definitely recommend this place and likely to return. Host was absolutely reachable and fast with all questions we had. Overall a really nice place!

We stayed in the property for about a week all I can say is location, location, location. Right on the water, waking up to sounds of the Gulf. Private beach is just steps down from the house. Property is airy with two exits to the balcony overlooking the Gulf, where you can sunbathe. Sand is so white and clean, it’s still in my dreams. Few things of note: if you will try to work from there, better brace yourself, WiFI is pretty much non-existent, goes in and out every 5 minutes (those minutes that it is on, it’s extremely slow), if I would live there definitely invest in Starlink. If you need to work there, go to Lighthouse Bakery, we found it’s only reliable internet on the island. During the storms (or high wind) house does move a little, but that comes with house being on the poles.
