We were very happy with the accommodations. There is plenty of room for a family gathering. We had a pre-funeral gathering of 10 people from all over the country and were very comfortable. The hot tub was great. It was too early for the pool, but it looked clean and inviting. This would be an excellent retreat for a family of six for an extended stay in the summer or winter. A great location for a private getaway. Close to Syracuse (20 minutes) for entertainment trips.

Our stay in this stunning farmhouse in Cazenovia is one my family will never forget! The home itself is a treasure and made us feel like we were in an HGTV episode it was so beautifully curated. It felt like true luxury. The amenities were above and beyond and there were cute little touches like a prepped jar of s'mores fixins for nighttime campfires. Our kids loved exploring the property the entire time—they didn't ask to watch TV for 3 days straight which has to be some kind of record! All in all, I highly recommend this property!

Me and my boyfriend stayed at Dylan’s with 3 others for 3 days and it was a beautiful, clean home. We had no issues with anything . Dylan responded to us no problem, the house looked even more beautiful than the pictures, the pool was a good temperature, the hot tub was our favorite thing in the backyard. We used the fireplace and it was really nice as well as the grill, we loved making food on there too. Overall it was an amazing experience Dylan was great with communication and hospitality. I would definitely book with him again.

This was a terrific stay. The hosts communication from beginning to end was as good as can be expected. The home was cozy and well appointed. The property was beautiful and peaceful. 5 stars, will recommend and return again. Thank you!

This was a very beautiful nature space. When I walked in my first impression was the clean smell and open space. I was able to study for a big event and work while looking out at nature. I would definitely stay here again.

Our extended family of 8 stayed here for Colgate's 2025 graduation weekend. The location was definitely further away than I wanted (not the host's fault of course) but it ended up working out great. Door to door it's a 35 minute drive, so while we weren't able to go 'back and forth' as much as if we were staying closer, it was a great place to wake up in and return 'home' to at the end of the day's events. There was plenty of room for two sets of grandparents, two siblings and the grad's parents. We loved making coffee and breakfast in the morning and enjoying the absolutely glorious view from the house, plus the kitchen table was a fun end of day gathering spot for us all. Shawn was communicative and accommodating, especially when one pair of guests were way ahead of arrival time, allowing them to enter the property early. I had not been aware of DeRuyter or the lake prior to this, but am glad we had the opportunity to enjoy this home and the area!

Cheryl’s place was charming and very spacious! The beds were very comfy, the kitchen was well stocked and the location was very convenient to Syracuse and the surrounding area. We didn’t use the dining room but it would have been a great space for a large group. Cheryl was very responsive and check in was easy. We will definitely be back.

This remodeled home was meticulous and well-thought out. It had every amenity you could think of, was beautiful down to the last detail. Comfy bed, pillows, linens, well stocked kitchen and baths, comfortable living and dining rooms. It was raining so we didn’t get to spend time in the beautiful backyard. One of my favorite rentals. Host was very responsive and had a beautifully organized binder of instructions and local sights and activities. Definitely a 5-star review.

Our stay was great from start to finish. The host was very communicative prior to check in and throughout our stay. I had a ton of questions and she took time to answer them all. She was accommodating to our situation and so sweet to wish our son good luck at his basketball tournament! The house was amazing, cozy clean and as my son said "staked". I couldn't find a light for candles, and the hosts dropped on a lighter with a new candle, with no interruption of the stay. Normally we go out to eat when we are traveling for tournaments but this place was so cozy we decided to make dinner there. We also brought our pups - and the hosts went above and beyond to make sure our fur babies had a wonderful stay as well. If we're ever in the area again we will booking here for sure! PS...the beds....oh the beds...were something from a dream.

Cute house. Very well restored. Love the glass door knobs. Bathrooms were updated. The dishwasher was out and the host did not tell us about it until right before our trip. Ironically our dishwasher had also just gone out in our house. Was not a big deal for us. Cute place and we would stay here again.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The place was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described—if not better. Every little detail was thoughtfully arranged, from the soft linens to the welcome touches that made us feel right at home. The host was kind, responsive, and made check-in a breeze. We truly didn’t want to leave. Can’t wait to come back for another relaxing getaway!

If you are looking for a retreat in the form of a home away from home, I highly recommend Waterfall House. The landscape, scenery, and waterfall provided a peaceful environment. The home is very well appointed, which made us feel at home and comfortable. Nice amenities. The waterfall provided a beautiful, tranquil sound that lulled us to sleep—no sound machine was needed. Plan to drive a bit for groceries and entertainment, but it's worth it. We stayed at the property for our son's graduation from Syracuse, so we had to factor in driving time. Still, it was a nice respite at the end of the day, and we enjoyed sitting near the window to watch the waterfall as we relaxed in the evening and over coffee each morning.

My father lives in a nursing home in Central New York and I come up four times a year. I have rented half a dozen different places through the years and this is the best. I’ve rented several really nice places and this is better than the best of those. It is beautifully designed and spotless. It has a nice backyard. The master bedroom is pretty spectacular. The master bathroom is lovely. There are three bedrooms, but one of them is not huge if you have two kids in there, but it’s not the end of the world and my boys did fit. That’s my only slight criticism. Yvette was extremely responsive. I will definitely stay here again.

An absolutely beautiful location. Cute and homey basement apartment. Very comfortable. We especially loved the pretty kitty that welcomed us and saw us off as well.

We had an absolutely lovely ten-day stay. The home was beautiful, very comfortable and stocked with everything we needed! Most of all Alice is truly a super-host! Very responsive, helpful and even put out some infant items, as she knew we were there to visit our new grandson! Can’t say enough great things about our stay! We look forward to returning on our next visit!

My family of four was in Syracuse for three nights for my daughter’s graduation from SU. The location of this home was perfect, right near the athletic center, in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. The home is BEAUTIFUL and exactly like the photos. All four of us remarked DAILY how much we adored the living space, the furnishings, the style, and the amenities. It’s a bright and cozy home. The entire place was immaculate. The beds are all super comfortable, soft sheets, good towels and plenty of them. There are countless pillows so no need to bring your own. There were a ton of complimentary water bottles already cold in the fridge and some snacks. Though we didn’t have time to use it, there is a lovely back yard and a new deck with furniture available as well. Jeffrey was flexible with our check in/out times and very responsive to my messages. If my daughter wasn’t leaving Syracuse, I would book this home EVERY TIME. Can I give more than 5 stars?? THANK YOU JEFFREY!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect. Communication with Harrison was seamless; they were always quick to respond and incredibly helpful. We felt right at home throughout our stay. It was hard finding reasonable accommodation in these parts, thankfully i chose this place. Taína was always very helpful with the accommodations. The place was quiet which helps alot with work.

Everything was perfect. Immaculate. Glad they got A/C installed. Cafe/Bar across street was good food and fun with pool tables. Convenient to Syracuse and Oswego. Great restaurants in all three places. Mimi’s in Fulton has best breakfast. Cinnamon bread, toast, and waffles were my favorite! Thank you Jessica and Dennise for your hospitality. This is a lovely, comfortable, and welcoming home. Communication was easy, fast, and helpful.

The Eagle View is an amazing stay. A great home away from home. With the amenities alone I did not want to leave. The jacuzzi and cow were my favs and the mattresses are a dream! Heather is so responsive and accommodating which made the stay so much more enjoyable during a difficult time.

This vrbo was excellent- we have been visiting Syracuse University for the past 4 years while our daughter studied there - this is my favorite place that we have stayed in! The apartment is very clean & comfortable with cute decor, plenty of space for a family to relax and enjoy with 3 good sized bedrooms a large living and dining area. Proximity to campus is excellent making it easy to attend campus activities, but then also enjoy some downtime in between. The host was welcoming and attentive to all of our needs checking in with us frequently throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this vrbo for any Syracuse U families coming to visit their slice 🍊!

We had a very enjoyable stay. This was the perfect place for our family to spend time together. Peaceful lakefront living! The kayaks and paddle boards were put to good use. Debra was gracious enough to leave us some goodies, s’more fixings, and even toys and treats for the dogs. I would definitely book this house again.
