Monthly Rentals in Dee

This was the perfect home base during my time exploring the Hood River area. I spent my days wandering the landscape, returning in the late afternoon to sit on the porch, write poetry, and listen to the river and birdsong. In the evenings, I’d head back out to photograph the stunning scenery, before returning to a wonderfully comfortable bed. The space is thoughtfully designed—especially for travelers using it as a launch point for outdoor adventure. The shower had excellent pressure (a gift for a gal with long hair and after a long day outside), and I appreciated the long benches that made it easy to organize and re-organize camera gear and bags. It felt like this place wanted to support joy, movement, and creativity.

I was very lucky to book this place last minute, Linda is unbelievably kind and helpful; Definitely the most down to earth and sweetest host I've ever had the pleasure of speaking with! The place was so cozy and perfect. Comfortable bed and the fairy lights were a perfect touch. It was a peaceful place to come back to.

Small cottage was the perfect size for me in a peaceful, private setting. It was clean and had all the amenities I needed. The grounds were beautiful. I had no problem connecting to the Wi-Fi. Great location for exploring all the attractions around Hood River!

We stayed at Dons place for six months, and could not have loved it more! A perfect cabin for us as we became a family of three. Nestled on nearly three acres on the way to mt. Hood, this beautiful cabin and land is bordered by two creeks. Elderberry’s, maples, dogwood, cedar, and more trees create a haven, with a wide open field in the center. Everything in the home was thoughtfully curated, many books we enjoyed reading, art, an open, quality and well-functioning kitchen. Don was a wonderful host and easy to communicate with. We would definitely recommend this stay for a short or long getaway!
