Amazing place! Highly recommend. Property is beautiful, easy access to all lake activities, private and quiet, high end amenities, whole experience was perfectly designed down to every last detail. Can't recommend enough and will definitely stay again.

What a unique experience! Had a wonderful 4-5 day stay with 2 teens, 2 adults and a dog. We have the height of elves and the girth of dwarves, so the hobbit-sized space of the stargazer cabin was sometimes a tight squeeze for us, but we settled in and absolutely loved the whimsical touches of the LOTR theme! The dog had a blast too, being able to run all over the large grounds and wear himself out. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful experience that also sparks the imagination like being a kid again!

1. Favorite: The beds were super comfy… u will get a great night sleep any of the 4 beds that are here… we all loved it. The beds were amazing.. High-lights: 2. Good time snowmobiling and ice fishing on the lake. 3. Relaxing in the hot tub at 10pm, 20° outside with many stars in the sky…

Garrett’s cabin was everything we were looking for! We wanted a place to relax, play games and cook s’mores! We got exactly that as well as being close enough to go into town to check out restaurants, shop and anything else we may have wanted to do. We look forward to our next visit to this wonderful cabin!

We had a great time at the house! So peaceful, relaxing, beautiful. You can tell the owner uses the property as well because all details were given extra thought and attention. Within 15 min to great golfing and restaurants. Caught several fish off of the private dock and had fun exploring the lake on the kayaks. Enjoyed warming up by the fire pit and in the hot tub. Definitely recommend!

We loved our time at Border Point Lodge! The cabin is spectacular and has everything you could possibly want or need. The setting is picturesque - the lake is so peaceful! It was such a great place to relax, spend quality time together as family and make memories. Evan and Annie are amazing hosts! Typically, at the end of our family vacations, we are usually ready to get back home. That was not the case on this trip, none of us wanted to leave. We hope to return again. Thank you so much for such a wonderful place to stay!

This place was AMAZING! It was just like the photos, in addition had SO MANY AMENITIES! I was shocked to see the kitchen full of gadgets and lots of dishes. We’ve had so many people reach out to ask where we stayed because it was PERFECT.

Overall a nice place, very clean and no major issues. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils/ pots and pans. Linens were clean and even had a few extra blankets. Only 4 sets of towels but seeing you had laundry, this wasn't an issue. Finishes are builder basic, maybe a little better but work just fine for a cabin stay. Just know if you are staying in this clubhouse area, other guests have access to the building/common areas which are only separated by a basic glass interior door with a blind. The exercise room/common space shares a wall with the master bedroom so you can hear people coming and going to the hot tub/sauna. Not as private as you might like but if you know that going in or rent both cabins, not a huge deal. Neighborhood was quiet and only a 4 min drive to downtown Nisswa. Check out responsibilities are minimal and easy to follow with the provided guide. Overall it was a nice stay and Chad was very responsive. Wouldn't hesitate renting from Chad again. Thanks!

My stay at The Woodlands was exactly what I was looking for—quiet, cozy, and deeply restorative. The cabin has a peaceful, tucked-away feel that made it easy to unplug and settle into stillness. I spent the weekend journaling, reading, and just breathing, with no pressure to be anywhere but there. While there were tons of trails to hike and stars to gaze, I didn’t venture out much—sometimes the best kind of retreat is the one where you don’t feel the need to do anything at all if your content and coszy staying in. The space itself is thoughtfully laid out and incredibly comfortable, with just the right balance of rustic charm and intentional care. I’m so grateful for the chance to stay—it was exactly the reset I needed.

Great place, beautiful spot. Unfortunately it was pretty bad weather but there were many games provided that made the trip very enjoyable. Adam was very helpful and friendly. Most items were provided which was great, very homey atmosphere. Overall amazing stay!

A hidden gem! Goodrich lake is a peaceful spot. The cabin is only a few steps away from the lake providing a wonderful view.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this cabin! It was fully equipped with everything we needed and more—every detail was thoughtfully considered. The location was perfect: peaceful, scenic, and close to everything we wanted to explore. The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated, making it feel like a true home away from home. The amenities were top-notch, and the views were simply breathtaking. Whether we were relaxing inside or enjoying the outdoors, everything was just perfect. The hosts were incredibly attentive and responsive, making sure we had a seamless experience from start to finish. Highly recommend—this place exceeded all our expectations!

Maribeth and Paul were very helpful and always responsive to our requests. The cabin was well appointed and had everything we needed. We loved the kayaks and paddle boards. They even had a small fishing boat available for a small fee. The most amazing part of the stay was the beautiful lake right outside our window. We will be back!

We spent the weekend at the Honey Hole for a guys’ fishing trip, and it was perfect. The house and location were phenomenal—right on the lake, so you only have to step onto the deck to enjoy that true “on the lake” feeling. Everything was clean, tidy, and well-maintained. We had a fantastic weekend—and it didn’t hurt that the fish were biting!

I had a great stay. I went solo and felt like it was enough room. I loved the back yard and the view of the lake. Our host was very responsive with any questions I had. But I would mention that the window in the bathroom does not have anything from keeping someone to look in. But besides that, I’d definitely stay here again if I’m ever back in the area.

Ted’s place was perfect for our family. We absolutely loved the beautiful sunsets on Washburn lake, campfires on the beach. We played Yahtzee at the large dining room table. We cooked and grilled out every night! Beds are extremely comfortable! Showers had great water pressure. Amenities were great! We loved it all and Ted was warm, responsive and a wonderful host! We will be back!

This was our 2nd time at Sunset Retreat and our family loves this beautiful lake home. The grandkids had so much fun swimming in the shallow, sandy beach area. Everyone caught so much fish as Goodrich is a great fishing lake. The cabin is extremely clean, the beds are so comfy and we feel right at home there. We saw eagles flying over the lake, enjoyed smores at a bonfire compliments of the home owners, which was a nice treat. Communication with the home owners is fantastic. This is a hidden gem and we will be back again next year. Thank you Ron & Lori for letting us use your beautiful lake home!!! The Rand's

A group of six stayed here to be close to our friend’s cabin on Big Sandy. Walking distance to Zorbaz was a huge bonus for us! The home was beautiful and the views stunning. Conveniently located to ATV trails as well. Our only complaint was no TVs in the bedrooms. But that’s what iPads are for right! Michelle was incredibly proactive and responsive the whole time. I had previously booked a different Airbnb before this place and it was an absolute nightmare host- so glad the universe steered us this way. We would for sure be back again and again if available!

Such an incredibly peaceful stay! We loved the snowy views and lounging by the fireplace. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a bit of quiet and relaxation. Comfortable bed, amazing tub and sparkling clean when we arrived. Very responsive and helpful hosts that provided us with tons of recommendations of places to eat and grab a good cup of coffee. We would definitely stay again with our little pup!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Greg’s place. The place was exactly as listed with a few bonuses once we got there. Greg was great to work with and make sure we had everything we needed. We had gone out to get supper and he let us know that there might be an issue with the keypad once we got back, but he already had a solution and was super quick to solve the problem! We would highly recommend staying here and will be back when it’s warmer and we can enjoy the screened in porch more!

Little Blue is extremely well taken of - with manicured lawns, beautiful patio with grill and fire pit and a nice sandy beach. It’s a great place to unplug - no TV - peaceful and calm, surrounded by nature’s sound . Doug and Janene are kind and generous, great communicators and flexible. They make you feel welcome and even have a little gift in store for their guests - a mug to remember Little Blue with every sip of coffee.

This home is located perfectly on the resort, closest to the lake. It was very cozy and felt like home. Can’t wait to find another time to come back!

A beautiful location and an amazing cabin. Had a great time with the bride, daughter and grandson. Fishing sucked! Fished the same bay that we fished last year where we couldn’t keep the fish off the line. This year, same location only two weeks apart and caught nothing. Overall great time!
