This place was great. The owners pay attention to the details and offered many amenities that we don’t see at other Airbnb’s. I highly recommend this place.

We loved our stay at this stunning modern home tucked away in the Santa Cruz hills. The house feels completely private and secluded, surrounded by nature, yet it’s only about 15 minutes from town and the beach — the best of both worlds. Everything was beautifully designed, high-end, and spotless. The pool was a highlight for my kids. Perfect spot to unwind and still be close to everything. Would absolutely stay again!

This was an amazing stay for a group of 5. The location is amazing with beautiful views on the beach. The unit itself was very clean and had all the amenities that were listed. Will definitely go back and visit again.

We had a wonderful time during our recent stay at Sean's place. The house is so spacious and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We especially loved the large kitchen; it never felt crowded, even with a few of us in there at once. We also really appreciated how well-equipped the kitchen was with all the pots, pans, plates, and other essentials we needed. Our kids absolutely adored the pool area! It was beautiful and private, and they had so much fun with the basketball hoop. They also loved watching the hummingbirds at the backyard water fountain and the rabbits hopping around in the garden. Overall, we had an amazing stay. Thanks for hosting us!

The decor was delightful! Very well outfitted with everything you need.beds super comfy. Really good size. We had more than enough room. I appreciate that Crystal saw no issue with my service dog joining us. I was a bit disappointed that you had to be on the balcony to see the beach. There was a complex in the front blocking most of the view from indoors. I also had issue with parking. The garage was only for small cars and the street parking was inconsistent and required several steps. My handicapped daughter found it a bit difficult. The area was not easily walked being on a very very steep hill. I wish there were more info in the description. All in all, it was a gorgeous place and really clean, highly recommend for non handicapped folks.

Cute house. Would advise driving during daylight tho, the roads are extremely windy and challenging at night. We had a tough time driving up in the dark. The amenities like hot tub were great. House was as described! Easy to use amenities. Would advise bringing a jacket on April.

We loved every moment spent in this house ,especially the cats , the house was very comfortable, clean and cozy, I would definitely recommend this house .

Great little cozy spot!! Quiet neighborhood! Perfect location! With a small view of the ocean!! Close to Wharf, Cannery Row, Aquarium & 17 mile drive! Easy access in & out of neighborhood to main roads!

We absolutely loved this spot. Perfect for two family groups. The background was so spectacular — the kids loved playing basketball and the adults loved drinking wine and coffee by the fire pit. The location is perfect and so close to the ocean.

Absolutely loved our stay here - the photos don’t do the place justice! The view is phenomenal, the home is so beautiful and spacious and cozy. Lovely area to sit with family and dinner and just enjoy the sunset. Amenities were all as described. I loved the location — very private and peaceful, but still close to town and Point Lobos.

Our family had a wonderful time soaking in the spectacular mountain views and embracing nature’s beauty. We loved our unexpected encounters with the local deer family, watching quail cross the streets, and discovering fascinating California native plants. Surprise to find items we need in the pantry and refrigerator, made us feel right at home. The comfortable mattresses and bedding ensured a restful sleep, even with the mysterious sounds of the wild surrounding the house at night. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!

Amazing views and a peaceful location—waking up to the ocean and wildlife was unforgettable. This was our hub for exploring Carmel-by-the-Sea and Big Sur. A short 30-40 minute drive to Big Sur for hikes, and just 10 mins to downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea for great dinners. There’s also a handy general store at the bottom of the hill. A couple of notes: This is one of 4 units on the property. While listed as “entire home,” there’s a unit attached at the rear with a door that opens directly into your space through a hallway (for my wife’s peace of mind, we kept our bedroom door locked at night). Another unit is above, and one more is detached in front. That said, everyone keeps to themselves, and interaction is minimal besides maneuvering past their parked cars in the driveway. Also, screenshot the address and key code—cell service drops near the hill and the turnoff into the property is easy to miss in the dark the first time around. Thanks for hosting us, Emily & Mason! Beautiful property for families and friends alike! The large deck with games and a hot tub let's you really relax and take in the Carmel Valley views. Hosts were very responsive and flexible with our needs. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious stay in Carmel Valley!

We enjoyed our stay: the home is clean and comfortable and there was plenty of room for the five of us in the three bedrooms. The kitchen is well-stocked with all the appliances and tools you’d need to cook and enjoy a meal in the kitchen or outside in the backyard. Access to the community and house was easy.

The home is so beautiful and had everything we needed to cook at home. Very walkable to downtown and in close proximity to Big Sur and Monterey to do little day trips there also. Ben and Julie were great hosts and left my fiancé and I flowers and chocolates on Easter and gave us great recommendations on what to do in the area. All around fantastic house, fantastic people, and a fantastic town to visit.

We had a great stay at the property. It was VERY well kitted out, with everything you could need and lots of extras that you wouldn't necessarily expect. We visited with a 2 year old and she was delighted to find a scooter and beach toys in the garage to play with. We greatly appreciated having plenty of linens, towels, dishwasher tablets, toiletries, laundry detergent and even spices for cooking! It made our stay even better. The location was perfect for us; a quiet, safe, friendly neighbourhood. You do need a car though - Monterey is about 10 minutes drive away and the beach (plus a few small shops) just a few minutes drive but not walking distance. The property was even nicer than the pictures and the beds and sofa were very comfortable. We had a really lovely stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Thanks so much for having us!
