Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Delaware Bay

The house was very nice. The kitchen items, napkins, towels, and rooms were enough and useful. The house was clean and the area was quiet. The garden was well-maintained, and the outdoor faucet at the entrance was very helpful to clean everything and our feet. The beach gear in the garage was a lifesaver. The beach was really within walking distance, but there were too many horseshoe crabs, so we didn’t swim there. Instead, we went to Cape May Beach, which was about 15 minutes away. It was also clean and peaceful.

What a lovely house right by the ocean! We truly enjoyed the peace of waking up with ocean sounds and views every morning. The house is well equipped for travellers’ needs. The deck was our favorite part and we tried to have most meals outside. The first floor bedroom and bathroom was perfect for my elderly grandmother. Would definitely come back!

This place is so beautiful and very convenient. Paula thinks of everything! She didn’t know it, but she even had our favorite wine waiting for us at the place. Her place is also a 5 block walk from the beach and a 10 minute drive to town. Paula was very responsive and super nice. I would highly recommend!

We loved this stay! The lite house was very nice and renovated, while still maintaining original structure. The porches all around were great and the view from the master bedroom was stunning. Easy walk to small private beach. Town is about a 10 minute drive. We dined at Woodys and the Wellwood and they were both tasty!

Cindy’s place was clean, well stocked, and perfect for our family. Loved that everyone had a bed and there were two full bathrooms. We were there for lacrosse and the place was only 10 minutes from DE Turf which made it easy. Cindy is very easy to communicate with and makes sure your stay is perfect. Would stay here again!

It's a lovely house in a tranquil setting with lots of birding opportunities, biking and a 10 minute walk (or 1 minute drive) to Slaughter Beach. Great indoor space plus a screened porch for dining alfresco and other porches/decks for relaxing. We also visited Broadkill Beach which is a 15 minute drive. Lewes or Rehoboth beaches are closer to 25 minutes.

Tricia & Lee were great hosts. Extremely quick responses. Check-in was painless. Pool was the highlight of the home. Location is great - bay, ocean, and city of Cape May all within 15 minutes. The home was just what we were looking for to beat the heat for a few nights. Would certainly stay again.

What a fantastic stay! So good we will be back next weekend. Place was super clean, cute and decorated beautifully. 2 full bathrooms in a 2 bedroom apartment was such a treat! The apartment is located in downtown with cute river walks and restaurants all in walking distance.

This was a great place to stay for a long weekend with the girls! Good proximity to Cape May for shopping/restaurants/beach (about a 20 minute drive) but also located literal steps from a nice quiet beach area as well. The apartment was the perfect size for four guests and the deck/patio furniture/beach chairs were nice bonuses. The host was responsive for the couple questions we had throughout our stay. Lovely little beach getaway!!

What a hidden gem! Perfect for my last minute solo beach getaway. Close views of beautiful sunsets, close proximity to local beaches, and a very comfortable bed. I would love to return :)

I highley recommend staying at 11 Delaware! My friends and I found it to be quite pleasant and just the right amount of space. The unit was clean on arrival and although I had some trouble getting in (not at fault of the listing, my own user error lol) the owner Jennifer Anne was amazing! She took my call right away and walked me through everything until I was inside and settled, I was very appreciative. Parking was easily accessible which was a plus, and the neighborhood was quiet. Overall the space was perfect for what I needed it for. My only 2 notes would be that 1. The beach at the time we went was not suitable to swim as there were thousands of horseshoe crabs, I suppose it’s the season I was unaware. The owner/host is wonderful and if you need assistance I highkey recommend contacting her. The caretaker however I found to be a bit rude. A friend left their bag in the unit, and after paying close to $850 for a 2 night stay I had expected a bit of a kinder tone from her.

Bob and Beth's place was so peaceful and charming. The grounds were simply beautiful. It was so close to town which was full of quaint stores, houses, restaurants. The place was perfect for us and our pups. The inside was decorated so nicely and very clean. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

We have stayed in one of Matt’s airbnbs before and same as the first time, we had a wonderful stay! The Airbnb is beautiful, private, and exactly as described. It was easy to find and Matt gave us specific instructions for everything. He puts thoughtful touches into everything like the bathroom amenities, kitchen amenities, and extra blankets and board games. The bed was comfortable and the private deck was wonderful to sit out on in the morning. The surrounding area is nice and quiet and peaceful. Love this place and will absolutely be back! :)

Lousie and her husband were super friendly and very helpful. It was a beautiful stay and experience. Would recommend to everyone that they stay here at least one. The house was right off the main road but was very quiet and you couldn’t even hear the pass by.

We always enjoy staying here,it feels like home and we will be returning soon!

Amazing views! We watched the sunrise over the ocean from bed. The bathrooms are small with not much room to store your toiletries, but otherwise the space was great for my partner & I. We had a wonderful stay!

my sisters and I wanted to do a short girls trip and this was the perfect little cozy place for us. it was super clean, cozy, cute, and felt private and safe. Location was great, it was nice to be able to walk to some restaurants as well as a short drive to the outlets. being only a 10min drive to the boardwalk and beach was probably the most convenient part. Red and Laura communicated well and gave clear instructions for us to get in and out of the airbnb and they gave us a list of things to do in the area. I suggest staying here if you want comfort and a homey feel. I will definitely reach out here the next time I plan something.

The condo is absolutely beautiful. The view from both the living room/ balcony and the master bedroom is amazing. We fell asleep every night to the sound of the surf. It rained one of the nights we were there, so we watched a movie on the giant tv. There were so many options for what to watch! Bryan was a super responsive host and when I reached out with a question, he answered almost immediately. The location of the condo is a little bit away from the crowded areas, which we really liked. It made for a more quiet, low-key beach vacation. I highly recommend this rental. You will love it!

What a great place! Walkable to historic Lewes. Walkable to the Bay or you can drive with free parking Mike mentioned. The place was great and I can't wait for my next stay!

I had a wonderful stay at Brooke’s place. Being able to listen to the waves crash from the patio was so relaxing. There’s also tons of wildlife you can watch right from the patio. I saw a fox two days in a row, as well as dolphins each morning. The place had all the amenities I needed. I would love to stay again! The only thing I’d do different next time is bringing my own pillow. Otherwise, a perfect getaway.

Nice and cozy place to stay. The condo stayed nice and cold, perfect against the sunny weather. Rodi was a very welcoming and understanding host. Everything given made our lives easier, especially the beach chairs and extra blankets. Would definitely recommend and come back.
