Beachfront holiday rental in Deschutes River

Impeccably clean home located right on the bank of the Deschutes River. Views from the many large windows in the home over the river made our stay delightful. Jacuzzi was wonderful. Enjoyed morning coffee and breakfast on the deck right on the river watching ducks and geese swim by.

The location of Eva's Cottage was exactly what my husband and I were looking for. We were spending our anniversary doing multiple day hikes out of the Gorge. This little cottage nestled in the woods provided us the peace and serenity we were looking for as well as providing a local home base to return to each day. The cottage was off the beaten path so it was private. It was in the view of their lodge but didn't interfere with our privacy at all. We had a momma deer with her twin babies lingering near the cottage for us to admire and we enjoyed just sitting and watching the river.

What a place! The best part of the stay was being in such a serene setting. The cabin did the job. The outdoor showers overlooking the river were amazing, and we enjoyed the sauna too. As others mentioned, our cell provider doesn't cover the area, and we could only get wifi from Steve's home if we held the phone in particular spots (or walked 50 feet toward his house). This was actually a big plus, as it helped everyone in our group set down the phones, unplug, and be present in nature. Loved it!

As described! Beautiful and private spot. Words of advice would be to bring and use lots of bug spray- since you are on the lake and very remote it gets buggy when the sun goes down. Also may be best enjoyed WITHOUT dogs or small children. Amanda is not exaggerating when she says beware of rattlesnakes, there is a decent snake population living in this region. But for adults who come prepared with boots and/ or stay close to camp it is not very risky. Would recommend for an adult camping group looking for privacy and peace!

Vince’s place was an amazing retreat. We greatly enjoyed our stay. The sound of the river rushing is amazing with an awesome view and easy walk to the waters edge. We look forward to staying here again soon!

Beautiful setting. Great access to the lake. We had deer in the yard everyday and food to feed them. Huge decks with plenty of room for everyone. The home had a propane fire pit table on the deck. This property is very private and had everything we needed and some. Air conditioning worked great!! It was very warm. Bridget was very quick to respond when I had a question and we all had a fabulous stay. I look forward to renting again in the future and have referred this property to a friend before I left. The cottage is wonderful, right on the river, incredibly clean and well stocked. There’s a great assortment of water toys too, paddle boards, kayaks, and inflatables. Even better is that Jackie is an amazing host, so welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Fantastic location too!

Nice property right by the River. Comfortable stay and a good value. Beds were comfortable. The hosts set up a fire in the fire pit for us which was a nice bonus. They were also flexible on check out time.

Our family’s fourth or fifth time staying here and it’s just as magical and fun as the first time. Beautiful nature getaway and we’ll definitely be back!

An amazing, well furnished large home on the banks of a lovely river. If you are looking for an easy, access mountain retreat, or home base for skiing and hiking, you could not ask for better.

can't say enough about this place. As a super host myself I came away inspired by things I could do to improve my own five star listing. Everything was perfect. Fully stocked high end kitchen, full bath in every bedroom, and stunning river mountain views from living areas and balconies. Great hosts who were friendly and responsive. Super clean modern property in an incredibly walkable location.
