Holiday rentals with a kayak in Deux-Sèvres

We had 4 wonderful days in the accommodation. A beautiful terrace with a direct view of the Sevre. Our thanks go once again to Pauline, who patiently supported us on the outward journey. Excellent place. We were very well received. The accommodation is very pleasant (linens available, quality bedding, coffee, condiments, etc.) and especially the direct access to the water through the garden allows you to go on a boat trip without difficulties (boat, canoe, waterproof bag... everything is available!). Ideally located to discover the canals of the Marais Poitevin in peace and quiet while taking your time! A big favorite, for the house, the Marais and Nathalie's hospitality! Thank you!

What a great house and location: a real home from home! Ann was really quick to respond to any questions and the local co-host was so helpful. All the other residents in 'Le Monastère' were friendly and the grounds were delightful. There is so much to do in the area with historic towns and cities to explore as well as the coast and lovely gardens to visit. Vouvant itself has some lovely walks and great bars and restaurants. Its well catered for with a Co-op, Pharmacy and bakery and larger supermarkets are a short drive away. I really feel we've had a good relaxing break. We look forward to visiting Ann's tranquil house again and would have no hesitation to recommend it to our family and friends.

A very pretty house and a beautiful place by the water! Spacious, beautifully decorated and very well equipped. Mylène is very nice and accommodating if needed, we'll be happy to come back to this place!

We had a wonderful stay with James and his wife, both very charming and welcoming. As soon as we arrived, we were warmly received. The accommodation is located in a peaceful environment, where silence reigns: this is exactly what we were looking for to rest. The only thing you hear is absolute calm... A real joy! We all slept very well: me, my wife and our children. If you like the countryside, tranquility and attentive hosts, then I recommend this accommodation 100%. A big thank you again to James and his wife for their hospitality!

the place is simply amazing... peaceful, clean, well-furnished and well equipped living area, with access and view of the garden... from morning till evening, i still don't know which time is the best, but I will need to come back to help me choosing :) thanks for everything Sue, it was an amazing moment.

A little happiness during this stay by the water... perfect for spending a quiet moment in the middle of nature! Celine is a quality host, always ready to help, we will return with great pleasure.

This cottage, despite its small size, has all the necessary equipment. Its major asset for me is the immediate proximity of a waterway allowing you to walk alone in peace on the green canals of the marsh.

From the initial warm welcome which showed us the facilities and grounds we could explore we were made to feel very comfortable to relax and enjoy our holiday. The property is perfectly set up for families, the children had so much they could do to entertain themselves from swimming in the pool, basketball, ping pong and checking for eggs from the chickens! On top of this the beautiful grounds gave further walks around the lake topped off with kayaks and paddle boards there was so much to do a week was not long enough! A fantastic property and lovely hosts.

Our brief stay at this cottage was perfect for our group of 7. The property is immaculate and the hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating. They were in touch in advance of our trip to help with room layout preferences and did a great job showing us around the beautiful property. I only wish we had some time to enjoy boating on the lake or exploring more of the grounds. Would absolutely stay again.

We had a great time at Sarah's place. The environment is extremely pleasant, the place is beautiful, even better than in photos. Sarah is very welcoming and kind, communication is perfect. I recommend you go and stay there!

What an amazing place! Lots of space, lush greenery and very well-maintained park. Beautiful stone buildings, authentic, Idyllic calm, near a superb mill accompanied by animals (birds, chevres, rabbits, sheep, guinea pig...) and activities (kayaking, trampoline, pétanque, foosball, billiards, table tennis, books...) . We had a wonderful stay, in the heart of nature. The owners are very discreet and attentive to the slightest need, very kind. The accommodation is very well equipped, spacious, clean and comfortable. Thanks again for a fabulous family stay that we will not forget!

We had a fantastic few days in Argentonnay and would higly recommend to anyone. The gite has been done beautifully and is very well equipped, and the grounds are great - we kayaked on the river, walked in the woods and enjoyed making friends with Sarah's pet mini-pigs! It worked very well for our family but would also be hughly suitable for groups without children. Puy de Fou, a 40 min drive away, was a phenomenal experience. Sarah was a very kind and considerate host.
