The Great Hall, Dollarbeg Castle

This 2 bedroom apartment is the beautifully converted former Great Hall of Dollarbeg Castle. Built in 1890, Dollarbeg Castle was the last gothic baronial style building of its type ever built. Beautifully restored in 2007 to the very highest standards, it was converted into 10 luxury properties, one of which is a conversion of the original "Great Hall" with its vaulted ceiling and majestic views across the formal grounds towards the Ochil Hills in the distance.

Relax and enjoy the stunning views with your own private entrance, sitting area and bathroom. There is off-street parking and self-check-in for your convenience. The room has tea/coffee making facilities, a mini fridge and microwave. Guests can spend time exploring the local walking/cycling routes, shopping outlet or visiting nearby bars and restaurants. After a busy day you can chill out in the private hot tub with breath-taking views of the Ochil Hills.

The Hayloft

The Hayloft has been turned into a light and airy flat above our stables. We live next to a path which takes you north to the Ochils or south to the beautiful Gartmore Water: perfect if you are a walker or a cyclist. The nearby village of Dollar has a castle, cafes, a pub and a restaurant. We are 40 minutes from Edinburgh airport, 25 minutes from Gleneagles Hotel, 20 minutes from Stirling and an hour from the centre of both Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Wisteria Garden

The pet friendly (two maximum), self contained unit is a detached annexe, internal dimensions are 6m x 4m. It has modern amenities having been completed in May 2021. The guest house is ideally located in Central Scotland with motorway access to all areas North, South, East and West 5 minutes drive from the location. The railway station at Falkirk High with a journey time of 20 minutes to both Glasgow and Edinburgh is a 10 minute drive.
