Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

The spacious apartment (150 m2) has floor to ceiling windows in every room, an open plan custom designed kitchen, a large terrace overlooking the lake and two parking spaces. It also offers a lift and is fully wheelchair accessible. Ascona, lake access and shopping facilities are a short 10 min car ride away.

Our vacation home (Chalet Sagentobel) is old, but very cozy! The rushing stream and the infinite silence when it snows are truly special experiences in the chalet. Gadestatt is a traditional Maiensäss. A Maiensäss is a cultural peculiarity of Swiss history. These simple but beautiful wooden buildings used to be inhabited on the Alps during the summer.
