The house is charming, with beautiful decor and everything you need for a comfortable stay. While it doesn’t have air conditioning, it was a bit warm at night for us, even with the windows open. The coffee provided was fantastic, and Kris was quick to respond to any questions. The location is excellent—just 5 minutes from white water rafting and about 45 minutes from some of the best hot air ballooning in the U.S. As avid runners, we found there weren’t any nearby jogging routes, but there are plenty of short hikes to enjoy instead.

Ray's place is perfect in the big house. easy to have day trips to Santa fe and taos. vivac winery is awesome as well as blue moose. would stay again in a heartbeat. Ray is a great guy, communicator, and is open to feedback and ideas for future guests 😀

Arriving at Mary's Casita there is an immediate sense of coming home. Everything about it feels welcoming and serene: from the architecture and appointment of the casita, to the welcoming baked goods, to the beautiful view of the mountains, and the cheerful chatter and activity of the birds in the yard. Mary's casita is a place to take a deep breath, pause and soak everything in. You will want to keep coming back to this place. This is the spirit of Northern New Mexico at it's best. And it is the perfect location for exploring the many beautiful and interesting places that this Northern part of the state has to offer. Thank you Mary for sharing a part of your world with us.

What a wonderful week in an adorable home! We found the space well appointed, and perfect for our needs. After a couple of days, we all agreed that it felt like home, and we wished we had another week to enjoy it! Also, we found Brian and Eleanor to be exceptional hosts. When I wrote with some questions, they responded with efficiency and kindness. These are people who really and truly care about their guests experience. 5 stars on every level! Hope we get to enjoy another stay in the future!
