The traditional stone house is located in the old town of Marmaris, just beside the famous castle. The ground floor is the entrance hall, a bedroom with double bed and bathroom with shower. The bedroom has a simple fireplace and air conditioning, which can also be used as a heater. Up the stairs to get into the living room with open kitchen. A small dining table, sofa, armchair and television equip this space. From the living room a 10 m2 large balcony is accessible, inviting you to read or eat breakfast. Another staircase leads to the roof terrace (25m2), from where you get a magnificent view of the old town to the sea. Marmaris is a popular holiday destination with many options for day trips and vacation activities. Recommended certainly is a boat tour with lunch or dinner in one of many romantic bays. The boat tours can be booked by the way spontaneously. Boats are always ready (3 minutes from the house). Dive boats, restaurants, bars, shops and the harbor are within 3 minutes. The beach for a swim can be reached in 10 minutes by foot. In the house you feel far away from mass tourism and has won over all the possibilities. Spending the holiday in a house in the Castle area of Marmaris is a "tip"!

Traditional House Authentic Experience

It is a stone-built traditional house from 1890, one of the first houses when the village of Lagoudi of Kos was founded. It consists of three buildings that enclose an internal courtyard of 700 square meters and include a traditional wood oven. It has been recently renovated with the utmost respect for the original design and materials, many of which, including the furniture, are original. It includes two traditional bedfloors that can accommodate 4 people, in two separate areas, the traditional living room, kitchen with a fireplace and a bathroom. All outdoor areas and the wood oven are accessible and protected by fencing, while the garden planted with endemic plants and herbs, offers moments of relaxation and peace.
