Podere Piazza is an estate, has its origin in the 15th century. The vacation home was built at the beginning of the 17th century. Podere Piazza was the residence of Alessandro Cervini degli Spannocchi, who was appointed Archbishop of Siena on May 29, 1747. He was a Nobile di Montepulciano and Patrizier of Siena. The buildings of Podere Piazza still bear his coat of arms today. This also explains our little church, at the road junction, in front of it to the right to the pine avenue and to the left into the driveway.

The stay was very satisfying and relaxing. The interior of the apartment was very welcoming and clean from the bathroom to the kitchen. The hot tub is the icing on the cake with many functions to make the most of your relaxation together. The place where it is located is particularly quiet and easy to access. I recommend trying to stay there.

We loved our stay here! We were here for a month and we were very sad to leave when it was finally over. The apartment itself is historic and atmospheric - the surrounding area was gorgeous (quiet roads, farms, and countryside view) - we loved going for walks along the road in multiple directions from the place. Our hosts brought us eggs and cherries from their garden multiple times, which were wonderful, and they never wasted an opportunity to make us feel at home. We hope that we get to come back someday and stay for another month, we miss it already!

The accommodation is comfortable and well-stocked; it is an apartment on the 1st floor in a location just outside Siena. The kitchen is very well equipped and there are also coffee pods and plenty of utensils and pots for cooking. There is also a kettle and a microwave. If necessary, also what you need to do a washing machine and lay out the clothes. Very convenient parking in front of the building. Loriano is very helpful and extremely responsive. In my opinion, it's ideal for those who have to stay several days for work.

We had a wonderful stay at Francesco’s place. Right from the start of the booking and during the stay, Francesco has got to be the most responsive host on Airbnb. He is always so helpful. His apartment is brand new and has all the important features such as USB charging outlets, electric blinds, comfortable bed and a coffee pod machine with plenty of pods. There is also an external laundry which we did not need to use. We didn’t cook while there but it has everything you need to self cater. The availability of parking is so important and the location is right next to old town Siena. He was kind enough to offer a flexible check in and also allowed us to park our car on the premises for a couple of hours after check out. Don’t forget to wander behind the building for an awesome Tuscan view. High recommended place to stay!

Daniela’s place was the perfect stay for our visit to Siena. We enjoyed being out of the busier area, but only a short bus ride to the city center. Daniela made great local recommendations! We also loved that we could cook in the kitchen with an awesome local grocery store right down the street.
