Lovely peaceful comfortable place to stay with the bonus of a wood fire and a sauna to enjoy. Has great views with a private rocky cove directly at the bottom of the garden and an easy coastal walk to the beautiful redbill beach and diamond island point. All in all really hard leave.

The location was perfect, peaceful and beautiful, and just a short walk to Redbill Beach which had the best sunsets. The house itself had a great living and kitchen, though the split level living did not really suit our needs the best. The place also was a bit old with some finicky doors and locks. But other than that, we had an enjoyable stay and would gladly stay again the next time in Bicheno!

Our stay was just wonderful in a world where it was lovely just to enjoy your surroundings. Daniel’s house made this easy to do and made comforts very accessible. A lovely restful place to allow us to be a family Thank you.

Perfection. Attention to detail- even in the kitchen…we had all the dishes and utensils necessary to cook like a chef at the house! There are even pantry items there- so check on that before running to the grocery store in town because we bought doubles in some things. I’m sure the selections in the pantry will vary. In addition, there may be garden produce ready for the picking!! Make sure and check with the host first- that will be seasonal, I’m sure. Beds are comfortable, showers have hot water, tub with jets is helpful after a day of sight-seeing. As owner notes, it isn’t hot, just warm…but it was still a good experience. Decks overlook bay/ocean- you get to witness the changing colors of the Hazards throughout the day standing over the bay. And if you are wondering- we saw amazing Aurora lights out over the water! Windows everywhere! Just incredible’views- there are no words. And you boy minutes from Swansea. Host has a book with restaurant suggestions. Grocery.❤️

A perfect spot near Freycinet National Park. We really enjoyed our stay here. Very convenient location for access to the park. As an extra bonus, we also found good eating spots nearby. Views from the front deck were spectacular, particularly sunset.

We had an amazing stay and it made our Easter break great! Our host was so helpful and we really appreciated his thoughtful advice. We fully recommend this place to anyone wanting a great break on Tassie’s east coast.

I had a truly wonderful birthday weekend at Bolton’s Beach in the beautiful, well stocked and organised cabins. The weather was great, the views and dawns and sunsets were magical and it was truly very special! The hosts were extremely friendly and easy to communicate with and all information was clear. We couldn’t have been happier with the presentation of the cabins, beautifully designed and equipped with all that we needed for our small gathering. The yard on all sides was a wonderful place from which to sit in the stillness observe the changing colours of the sky and water. Our group really enjoyed being able to walk straight onto the beach from the cabins. It's a great walk to the rocks at the far end of the beach. I’m really pleased to have have found such a wonderful holiday house so close to both Dodges Ferry and Hobart as it’s only a 1-1.5 hour drive! Definitely makes it a great choice to come back to and experience in all seasons. Many thanks again!

Kristy’s property was easy to find, beautiful and clean and in a friendly neighborhood. The property suited us perfectly- short stroll to the beach and a safe and suitable yard for our beach loving dog.

I really loved my stay at Apeture. We had the absolute pleasure of staying at this stunning beach house in Coles Bay, and it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we walked through the door, we were struck by the sweeping ocean views—absolutely breathtaking and visible from nearly every room in the house. The home itself is beautifully designed with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and tasteful artwork that adds charm and personality. Every space, from the sunlit living area to the cozy bedrooms, is thoughtfully appointed for comfort and style. What sets this property apart is the incredible value for money. You get so much more than a place to sleep—you get an experience. The games room was a hit with both kids and adults, providing hours of entertainment after beach walks and barbecues on the deck. I would highly recommend this property as a home away from home, and would not hesitate to stay here again.

We loved our stay in Hayley’s home, felt like a home away from home. Everything you could possibly need to have a comfortable stay, we both commented we would have loved to bring our children when they were younger to enjoy this accommodation, plenty of room for a family. The area is beautiful too so much to see & do.

Beautiful home in fantastic location right on the beach front of Coles Bay. The house has a very fresh, relaxed atmosphere. Great spot for the family or couples to stay. The host provides great local recommendations and is very helpful. Lovely basket of treats on arrival as well which added a lovely touch! I would highly recommend staying here. :-)

loved Scarecrow Cottage. Very historic. Comfortable. The heaters and fireplace were much appreciated as it was cold weather.

Fantastic all round. A comfortable, modern house with everything we needed. The view of the pink Hazard mountains from the lounge,deck and master bedroom are stunning and totally mesmerising. Locality fantastic so able to do lots of beautiful beaches and hikes. We did a big shop in Launceston when we arrived and then topped up from the local store - easy. From the deck we saw sea eagles, cormorants, kookaburras (which visit on the deck regularly) and more. We loved it and could have easily stayed longer than our 16 nights. Very very happy.

Absolutely gorgeous home, and perfect for a long weekend (or longer) with friends or family. Fantastically equipped kitchen, comfortable and warm rooms, incredible views (including from the bathtub). We went for a rainy winter stay with four adults and three children and didn't mind not leaving the house one bit (apart from the occasional walk down to what felt like a private beach, with no-one else around). Can't wait to go back. Thank you!

Joseph and Emma have created a soul-nourishing retreat. Every detail — from the calming textures and beautiful light to the thoughtful art and comfort — felt intentional and warm. Waking up to the breathtaking views each morning was pure magic. We left feeling refreshed, inspired, and so grateful. Can’t wait to return!

The place was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped with quality appliances. We felt right at home. The view was much better than the photos showed.

This place was perfect for me and my friends! Had everything we needed and an amazing view. Was a very tidy place and the kitchen is well equipped with utensils. I would recommend this place to everyone. I will say there is a kangaroo painting on the wall that freaked me out a little lol

Narelle' Swansea Seaside Shack was absolutely fantastic. The yard was private and immaculately kept. The inside undercover BBQ was a great idea as well as the fire pit for some chill out time outside. Narelle was so friendly to deal with. We will definitely be coming back. The TV reception is excellent and high quality. Being able to access our own Netflix & Foxtel was also a bonus. A great location for meeting up with family and entertaining.

What a great spot! The view of the Hazards was very special and made us just want to sit there and watch the world go by. It was also a great location for both exploring the national park and venturing into Coles Bay. Lots of comfy spaces to sit inside and out for resting in between adventures.
