A great beach side home in Bicheno. Perfect for a weekend getaway with friends. Lots of boardgames and puzzles too!

Lovely peaceful comfortable place to stay with the bonus of a wood fire and a sauna to enjoy. Has great views with a private rocky cove directly at the bottom of the garden and an easy coastal walk to the beautiful redbill beach and diamond island point. All in all really hard leave.

Perfection. Attention to detail- even in the kitchen…we had all the dishes and utensils necessary to cook like a chef at the house! There are even pantry items there- so check on that before running to the grocery store in town because we bought doubles in some things. I’m sure the selections in the pantry will vary. In addition, there may be garden produce ready for the picking!! Make sure and check with the host first- that will be seasonal, I’m sure. Beds are comfortable, showers have hot water, tub with jets is helpful after a day of sight-seeing. As owner notes, it isn’t hot, just warm…but it was still a good experience. Decks overlook bay/ocean- you get to witness the changing colors of the Hazards throughout the day standing over the bay. And if you are wondering- we saw amazing Aurora lights out over the water! Windows everywhere! Just incredible’views- there are no words. And you boy minutes from Swansea. Host has a book with restaurant suggestions. Grocery.❤️

We absolutely loved our week at Michelle's place. It was a great base to do all of the stunning Tassie Peninsula hikes and the view from house is spectacular. We were lucky enough to see a pod of seals lazily swimming by on the morning we were leaving. What a treat!

this is the second time we have stayed here and I honestly have nothing to complain about. everything was perfect , again. We had everything we needed and more. Don't hesitate to experience this homely little surf shack for yourself, in the best part of Tassy.

We really enjoyed our stay. The view is stunning and particularly breathtaking at sunrise. We were grateful for the ample heating options during our winter visit - we kept cosy between the fireplace, main heating unit and bedroom heaters. It was wonderful to arrive to the fireplace already prepared for our stay. I think it's worth noting that the bathrooms have been renovated since the original listing pictures were uploaded - this was a pleasant surprise! This is a special place and perfect for a little getaway.

A great location for a family holiday - plenty of room in the well equipped house and straight onto a stunning beach. The master suite with a view over the sea was idyllic and the garden space was wonderful.

What a wonderful place to stay for a couple of days R&R or an extended holiday. We were a group of seven who had been travelling around Tassie, playing golf. We had two nights here for a lovely rest, and what a fabulous place to do just that. The house was well appointed and had everything we needed. We really didn't need to leave the house as there was plenty to do there, either relaxing by the fire, playing pool or relaxing in the spa and pool. The house is perfect for a group of friends or a family reunion for a holiday or a few days catch up. I would recommend this property to anyone. We had an amazing stay and it made our Easter break great! Our host was so helpful and we really appreciated his thoughtful advice. We fully recommend this place to anyone wanting a great break on Tassie’s east coast.

Beautiful place! 10 members in 2 families stayed for 4 nights while driving around Tasmania. We cooked most meals in and enjoyed the space for our Canadian/Australian family connection. There was a lot of space to be alone or together. We even did yoga on the top floor that was fully equipped. There are beautiful surroundings near the sea and we were grateful to have the pool available so close to winter. The total experience made a great memory for our families.

Great location for family or friends to get together. Literally walk out the door onto a beautiful beach. Plenty of outdoor amenities available incl swimming pool, tennis, basketball hoop, billiards, kayaks etc. Quiet and peaceful area, but close to airport and to Hobart so very convenient. Great communication from Julie in advance who also met us on arrival and showed us in. Thank you for a great stay.

We had an excellent few days with our family at Marina’s house. The house is simple with large rooms and lots of space indoor and out. The view is lovely and ever changing and the kids loved the ducks and native hens. An ideal place for a family gathering.

House was warm and inviting on arrival which was welcome on a cold, wet weekend. House was clean and comfortable and very convenient to shops etc. Thank you for a lovely few days.

Absolutely gorgeous home, and perfect for a long weekend (or longer) with friends or family. Fantastically equipped kitchen, comfortable and warm rooms, incredible views (including from the bathtub). We went for a rainy winter stay with four adults and three children and didn't mind not leaving the house one bit (apart from the occasional walk down to what felt like a private beach, with no-one else around). Can't wait to go back. Thank you!

Karen’s place was conveniently located across from the beach and had everything we needed. We especially loved the woodfire and watching the animals roam the back paddock. We can’t wait to come back.

Wonderful accommodation, the room facilities are very new and convenient, the view is beautiful, the lawn and beach rest area gave the children a lot of space to play, the Milky Way at night, many kangaroos and bunnies around the evening, adding a lot of fun to this accommodation.Overall, it's really great, and I believe I'll come back to this beautiful holiday spot in the future.

A truly beautiful stay! The place was clean, peaceful, and had an amazing ocean view — waking up to the sea every morning was magical. The environment felt like something out of a movie, calm and dreamlike. Aine was super kind and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!

Absolutely blown away by our stay, everything was perfection. Our host Nancy’s communication was great, and the detailed, helpful information provided before and during our stay made everything so seamless. The main house tour was such a delight, setting the tone for the incredible experience. As for the location, it's truly heaven on earth. I honestly believe I will never stay anywhere prettier! The house itself is styled to absolute perfection, with insane attention to detail in every corner. But without a doubt, it was that breathtaking main view and the stunning, color-coded bookcase that truly stole the show and captured my heart.
