Rossella is a very friendly, straightforward and flexible host. We felt very comfortable in their place. The apartment is small but offers everything needed for two people. The sloping roof gives the apartment a great charm. Breathtaking and super beautiful is the large, sunny terrace. The sea, despite the second row of streets, is almost within easy reach due to the height of the terrace (3rd floor). Within walking distance are shopping as well as the beautiful village center of Marina di Ragusa with many restaurants, bars and gelaterias. The apartment on the third floor is only accessible by stairs (the last one a little narrow and steep). You should be good on foot - then that's fine. We had a very good stay in San Lorenzo. The location by the sea is really nice, with direct access to the beach. We were on the ground floor, which allowed us to fully enjoy the terrace, ideal for meals and moments of relaxation. The accommodation is as advertised, clean and well-equipped for a short or long stay. The environment is quiet, perfect for resting, and communication with the host went well. Note: you must bring a good mosquito repellent, especially in the evening. Some small details could be improved for more comfort, but overall, it's a very good place to enjoy the sea and the calm.

My wife and I traveled to Ortigia with our daughter for her 25th birthday. This home checked all the boxes when we booked it. Location on the water, nice modern home, walking distance to everything we wanted to see. But, when we got there, it was so much more amazing than we could have imagined. The home is beautiful - on the water with a stunning rooftop deck and amazing sunsets. Its situated right in the heart of Ortigia next to Fountain Arethusa. Walk out the front door onto the cobble streets to restaurants, coffee bars, shops. Turn right and walk a few minutes to Castello Maniace. Turn left and walk a few minutes to the Piazza Duomo. Yolande was an amazing host. Communication was great. Answered all my questions and helped find us a driver for the week which turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. Our driver, Beppe, was born in Ortigia and taught us more about Sicily during our car rides than any guide we could have round. Grazie Yolande!

This is hands down one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. Everything was perfectly set up for guests - clean, comfortable, and very well-equipped. The highlight is definitely the balcony, from there you have a stunning view of Catania and Etna. The location is ideal for exploring the region, with Taormina, Noto, Syracuse, Ragusa all within easy reach (1 to 1.5h drive, a car is a must!). The host was incredibly friendly. He gave us lots of tips for the region and communication was very easy. If you want to visit the south and/or east of Sicily, this is definitely a top place to stay!

Great terrace with a view of the sea. The kitchen was well equipped and also everything else was really nice for a short stay. Donatella always replied really quickly and was kind and helpful

The pictures don’t describe the beauty of this place. It is a step back in time that you can’t get from most other places. If you want serenity and peace surrounded by natural beauty mixed with history, this is where you must stay. We did have the heater go out on us but this was not Francesco’s fault as the heater was brand new and he was quick to make sure we had alternative heat. It is very easy to get to any of the main cities from this place. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you for being a wonderful host Francesco!

Great place. The owners turned this old farmhouse into a slice of paradise! Very well equipped accommodation, comfortable bed, wonderful garden and pool, very quiet. Ideal location to shine in Baroque Sicily!

Lovely old building and a great location

We very much enjoyed our stay in the apartment with a large terrace and a view of the Mediterranean Sea at Giusi. The apartment is clean, the kitchen very well equipped, bicycles were available, with which M. de Ragusa center can be reached quickly. Giusi is a very accommodating host, always available. Thanks to her and the great apartment, we had an incredibly relaxing vacation in M. de Ragusa. Thank you, Giusi!

The apartment was super clean and literally 5 steps from the beach. The host was amazing and the place very peaceful ☺️

The apartment is huge and in a great central location. We walked everywhere. It's surrounded by fab bars and restaurants. The view from the small balconies is beautiful and we loved seeing the sea through the sitting room windows when we came in the front door. As someone else mentioned, there has obviously been a water leak at some point which could do with sorting and a couple of other areas could do with some tlc. Overall, we loved the apartment and would definitely stay here again.

A lovely apartment with good facilities and furnishings, wonderfully easy use of a private beach and not too far away to drive to the restaurants and sights of Syracuse.

Thank you so much for such a warm and welcoming stay! From the moment we arrived, Guiseppe made us feel completely at home - meeting us in person and even helping with parking on a busy road was so kind and above and beyond. We truly appreciated all the thoughtful touches, from the treats left for us to the fresh fruit, it was a real taste of Sicilian hospitality! Guiseppe was always available and made everything feel easy and relaxed. The terrace was absolutely beautiful, especially at sunset, and the peaceful surroundings made it a perfect place to unwind. We also loved how close it was to the centre of Noto, just a short walk to great restaurants and the charming old town. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would wholeheartedly recommend staying here to anyone.

What a gem! This was our fourth trip to Sampieri and our best stay yet! We absolutely loved staying in Eleonora’s apartment. Spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean and so close to everything! We will definitely be happy to stay again. Grazie Eleonora!

We stayed at Rosario’s place for two nights with our two year old daughter and wished we had booked a few more nights. We enjoyed the beach in walking distance, strolling around town and the beautiful sunsets viewed from the spacious balcony.

We loved our stay in Ortigia. The apartment was spacious and comfortable and in a great location. We found it difficult to find the apartment when we arrived though as the door was obscured by the market tables and tents and the lockbox didn’t work. Fortunately we were able to contact Aurore who assisted. Otherwise a great stay. Recommended.

We had an outstanding experience here. Was excellent. Giuseppe was so welcoming and oriented us to the area and gave us recommendations. He really took pride in his and had a great personal touch. The space is very large and airy, I would say here without hesitation in the future.

Tiziana was a great host. The apartment was beautiful, well appointed, and had comfortable furnishings. The apartment is very close to all the local attractions and we were able to walk to everything we wanted to visit. We would highly recommend the unit.

It was situated right next to the lively and fun market with lots of good restaurant choices. Everything was walkable on this gorgeous island of Ortygia. We would stay here again!

A very spacious complex with large swimming pool and good facilities. We were with 2 families incl. 4 children (9-15 years) there. We had everything we needed to stay there all day. Well-known excursion destinations (Etna, Syracuse, Catania, Taorminar) can be reached about 1 hour.

Great location Comfortable space

The apartment is bright, modern and very well furnished. The landlord was super nice and helpful. The center is within walking distance. Perfect starting point in all directions. The bus stop/bus station is right at the house and can be heard from the terrace. Basically, Sicily has a massive problem with garbage disposal, which is unfortunately clearly visible in some neighborhoods.
