Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Door County

It was such a beautiful location with plenty of wildlife to see walking through the back yard. It was the perfect location to catch the early Ferry to Washington Island.

Beautiful space, fully stocked with everything needed and amazing local coffee and wine. Private space but still close to lots of options. Definitely check out twelve eleven wine bar and thyme restaurant - amazing food, drinks and service and right around the corner. Would definitely stay here again or check out Tim's other properties!

Our stay was great. We loved the view on the lake and beautiful sunsets. The kitchen was well stocked. Dana was proactive and very responsive!

We really enjoyed our stay and will probably visit again in the future! Very comfortable, spacious, and clean. While it’s not walkable, it’s very close to everything. Lots of parking and comfortable beds. Would recommend!

The house was extra clean and sparkling, and it had a good layout for our party of 4 adults to spread out and spend time in the house. The patios provided additional space to hangout and relax. The property itself was beautiful. We loved walking on the well-maintained trails that wind through the old farm fields and woods, and we were charmed by the ancient rock walls and trees and the peacefulness of it all. Communication with Ryan was great. He always responded quickly and reached out to us prior to checking in. We didn’t worry about anything because we knew Ryan was always available. We would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to others!

We had a fantastic stay! The house was spotless, well-stocked, and incredibly comfortable. After staying in several Airbnbs, it was refreshing to find a host who truly thought of all the little details that make a stay feel special. From the starter supplies to thoughtful touches throughout the home, we felt well taken care of from the moment we arrived. All we had to bring was our food, beverages and personal items. The hosts were proactive, responsive, and easy to communicate with. We would absolutely stay here again!

Our stay at the Alma cottage was even better than we expected! The minimal yet thoughtful design boasted large windows that really let the surrounding landscape in allowing for a peaceful ambiance throughout the cabin. The beds were comfortable and we felt at home. Everything was wonderful. We will be back!

My family and I loved everything about this beautiful home. The spaces indoors and outside offer variety and comfort. The open kitchen allows conversations with people sitting at the spacious dining room table or hanging out in the living room. Sunlight floods every room and the beds are wonderful, eg soft linens, nice mattresses, choice of pillows and plenty of covers. And… there is an amazing game-room for people of every age! Everything was truly immaculate and inviting, including the circular fire-pit with Adirondack chairs and lots of wood. We appreciated the friendly welcome letter and the other special touches that made us feel right at home. It’s simply perfect.

Wendi and Ron were great hosts! Their place is exactly as pictured and had every amenity to my my stay comfortable. It’s a great location on the west side of Sturgeon Bay, and everything was very clean and quiet. Great internet too!

This place was amazing! It was clean and had beautiful updates. It appeared brand new! It was spacious and perfect for our girls weekend. 3 Comfy beds and two large bathrooms suited the needs of our group of 5 and All the amenities you need for a weekend getaway!

We really enjoyed Jon’s place. It’s located in a quiet area yet within an easy drive to all the attractions of Door County. The place is very spacious and could easily accommodate 6 people, but had plenty of room for the 4 of us. The beds were very comfortable, there were plenty of towels and other amenities. We appreciated the provided coffee and the coffeemaker, as well as all included kitchen accessories. The grill on the balcony was a great addition as well and we enjoyed cooking dinner on the night of our arrival. Thank you again for a great place to stay!

We just had the best time staying at Heavenly Stay. It was incredibly clean. So many rooms and each of the 3 couples had their own bathroom. Staying in an old church was so charming and it was decorated to perfection. We interacted with the owners on a few occasions and their assistance and suggestions helped make our stay in Sturgeon Bay filled with so many great memories. We will definitely be booking another stay here and bringing more of our family to enjoy. Thanks Al & Shannon

This was a surprise Birthday outing with my wife Shavonda and she truly love the space and we had a wonderful time. Thank you for being such a great host and having such a welcoming space.

Very comfy bed, wonderfully designed and decorated and was great for two people, very walkable and a fairly quiet location with some road noise but not bad. I’m a light sleeper and I’m very frustrated by road noise so I found it great then you will too! The place looked much nicer in person than in the photos (and the photos look nice)!. We were visiting during shoulder season, so I don’t know if it’s very different during prime tourist season. We appreciated the fact that we did not have to clean the whole darn place upon checkout!
