Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Doorn

Heerlijk huisje voor een weekje weg met onze peuter. Mooi rustig park en bosrijke omgeving. De tuin van het huisje biedt allerlei leuke speelplaatsen voor kinderen waardoor je als ouder lekker rustig kan zitten.

We stayed a few nights with our 2 small kids, mainly to visit Amsterdam, and had a wonderful time. The house was great for us, very clean, enough space for everyone, very nice neighbourhood and restaurants and shops were close by bike or walking. We took the car to the nearest train station (Bussum Zuid) with free parking but without kids and less rain, walking would also have been easily possible. Jaap was very friendly and helpful and we felt very welcome. We would happily come again!

Hele hartelijke ontvangst van Ruud en Peter, direct hulp gekregen met tillen. De woning was helemaal naar verwachting, en nog een beetje beter. Een zalig bed, heerlijk fris ruikend beddengoed en handdoeken. Mooie omgeving en erg rustig gelegen. Zeker waar voor je geld .. en ik kom graag nog eens terug. Bedankt !!

We had a wonderful stay at Bart and Carole's guest house. They were very warm and welcoming and really happy we were there. They were very reachable if had questions or issues. They even arranged a full cleaning half way through our stay for a fee for the cleaner. The unit was perfect for us, a party of two, for three weeks, a home away from home. It was walkable to shopping, dining, and the grocery store, great location. When we come back to the Netherlands we will be checking on the availability of this wonderful home.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen erholsamen Urlaub zu zweit. :) Die Unterkunft ist wirklich wunderschön und man fühlt sich wie zuhause.

Het huisje is op een kleinschalig groen park, waar je goed terecht kan met je hond. Sterker nog het was het Pinksterweekend en ik heb nog nooit zoveel honden gezien. Allemaal keurig aan de lijn en alleen maar vriendelijke honden. Met een paar minuten lopen zit je in het bos, waar - op sommige plekken - de hond ook van de lijn afmag. Er is ook een gemeenschappelijk zwembad waar je gebruik van kan maken. Het huisje is comfortabel, het bed ligt goed en ook op een fijn plekje waar je geen inkijk hebt. Communicatie met de gastvrouw, Jacq , is perfect. Ze reageert meteen op welke vraag dan ook. Dank voor de fijne dagen.

Heerlijke plek om tot rust te komen! Het huisje heeft alles wat je nodig hebt met ook zeer goed uitgeruste keuken, heerlijke badkamer en fijne slaapkamers. De hottub is een echte bonus! Het is heerlijk stil op het park en je loopt zo de bossen in. Ook heel fijn dat er benodigdheden zijn voor een baby!

We had a wonderful stay in Graveland. Such peaceful surroundings and locator areas for walking. We all enjoyed rowing the boat as well. The apartment is decorated beautifully, we enjoyed the decor and artwork!

Do not hesitate to go there! It is the perfect getaway! Everything is well thought, well decorated, we felt so quickly at home and at peace. There are some houses and neighbours around the house but you might only see them when you arrive and leave. The place is private and quiet. The view is exactly like the picture, we spent evenings looking at the sky, the birds, the rabbits and the cows. A great place 😊

Such a lovely stay! This place was exactly what we needed — peaceful, cozy, and away from all the city noise. The cottage is super cute, clean, and has everything you need. Loved waking up to the sounds of farm animals, and it’s close to some handy local grocers too. The host, Marit was amazing — super responsive and really made us feel welcome. Highly recommend if you’re looking to unplug, recharge, and enjoy a bit of countryside bliss. We’d definitely come back!

Der Aufenthalt bei Marjolein und Michiel war außerordentlich schön und gemütlich. Ruhig gelegen, wunderschönes Ambiente mit privater Teichterrasse und Garten. Ideal für Radtouren zum Weltkulturerbe zu den Mühlen in Kinderdijk, Rotterdam, sowie nach Dordrecht gelegen. Auch der Wasserbus ist sehr zu empfehlen! Da mein Mann 60 wurde, hatte Michiel uns aufmerksamerweise eine schöne Flasche Prosecco vorab in den Kühlschrank gestellt. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und umfangreich. Die Betten sehr bequem. Das Zimmer ließ sich insgesamt zum Schlafen gut abdunkeln. Das Auto konnte sehr sicher auf dem Hof abgestellt. Vielen herzlichen Dank nochmals für den wunderbaren Aufenthalt!! Eat een leuk huisje! Ee hebben hier met z'n tweeën gezeten voor een workation: overdag werken maar dan in een andere omgeving voor het vakantiegevoel buiten werktijd. We konden twee werkplekken inrichten, één in de keuken en één op zolder. Er waren om die reden betere stoelen voor ons neergezet, heel fijn. Het is klein maar voldoet aan alle verwachtingen, goed omschreven en nog sfeervoller dan vooraf gedacht. Het was mooi weer dus ook lekker in de tuin gezeten.

Nanda’s place is very spacious and comfortable, with lovely large windows and all the facilities you would need. The apartment is on the first floor (no lift!) with the hosts’ living area on the ground floor and bedrooms on the second floor. Easy 5 minute walk to buses, just 3 stops to Central Utrecht. Nanda was very welcoming and easy to communicate with. Recommended!

Margor and Steven are nice and attentive, they give us a lot of helpful information about the area. The location is near the Zaandam train station and convenient when travelling to Amsterdam city centre. A very nice and cosy place to stay in NL.

Our stay at Jessica’s loft was peaceful, next to walking/biking paths and an awesome ice cream shop. It was close to friends of ours in the Netherlands. The home is in a structure from the 1800’s. Very cool!

The property is located 20 mins from Schiphol Airport, in a quiet gated community. The house was neat and clean and located beside a water canal. The kitchen and cutlery were well stocked. The furniture was comfortable. Plenty of towels provided. Easy to get to the city and to the other attractions. As stated in the description there is no washer / dryer. Bedrooms are located on the floor above the ground floor, the stairs are a bit steep. Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very responsive, friendly and courteous. Upon request we were given a late checkout which was very helpful and very kind of the host. Indeed a superhost! Would love to come back someday!

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt und Anneke bzw. ihre Tochter waren während des Aufenthalts stets bei Fragen ansprechbar. Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet, alles war sauber, gute Ausstattung und der Pool sowie Jacuzzi waren toll. Ich empfehle die Unterkunft sehr gerne weiter.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Nous avons adoré l'endroit, tout était parfait comme sur les photos. Le chalet est douillet, confortable et bien situé. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié les commodités comme le sauna et les vélos. Les hôtes sont d'une grande gentillesse et la communication était facile et efficace.

Schöne Unterkunft für eine große Gruppe von Freunden! Gerne wieder.

Wij hebben van begin tot einde genoten, wat een prachtige locatie! Zowel het huis zelf heeft heel veel charme en de tuin is een pareltje. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig om er een zorgeloze vakantie van te maken. Wij komen zeker nog eens terug.

My family and I (there are five of us) found the place really spacious! It’s a great house that matched the description perfectly. It's surrounded by lots of restaurants and supermarkets, making it very walkable. The house is also located near a bus station, and it's just an 8-minute ride to the central station. It was a really nice place to stay! Moreover, the hosts were very friendly and responsive whenever we needed anything or had questions. Overall, we were really happy with our stay!

Splendid place for a weekend with friends. Big enough for 12 people, with a gorgeous garden and a nordic bath. We really enjoyed our stay! Only point which could be improved: the kitchen is a bit small if you want to cook.

Es gibt Tipps für Unternehmungen, auch im Haus direkt zu finden. Das Haus ist ein wahrer Traum und man fühlt sich direkt wie zuhause. Wir lieben den Aufenthalt hier und kommen bisher einmal im Jahr hier her.
