Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Douglas County

Troy is a fantastic host. He was a great communicator and very hospitable. Our dogs and kids felt welcome, safe and comfortable. Troy helped us have a better stay with our parents knowing we were secure in our lodging.

We were in town for the marathon and this spot was very convenient to the UW Superior campus for event transportation. Nice and relaxing spot away from the crowds with friendly neighbors.

We are so thankful for our ability to get away and Nola's place was ideal. You can see the lake from the deck, the location is close to everything. The beds were comfortable and the house temperature was easy.

The best thing about this house is the view! We constantly looked down the hill to Lake Superior and watched ships go under the lift bridge. The house was perfect for our 10 family members. It was extremely clean, well stocked and well-designed. There is a large parking lot for multiple cars and a huge yard where we had a family baseball game. In the mornings we had coffee on the wrap around deck where there were lots of chairs. We attended a wedding down on Park Point and it only took us 10 minutes to get there (although we reminded each other allow extra time in case the lift bridge went up). We had a wonderful time and this was the perfect place for us to stay and have fun. We all agreed that we would all stay at this place again. Thanks, Amanda!

We have always wanted to stay on Canal Park in Duluth. It is a nice walk to everything and a great place to bike. Since parking in Duluth can be an issue it was so nice just to park the bikes. The house was so clean, had beautiful views and lovely spots to sit located around the house. Being right on the beach was such a treat for my 4 grandkids. The beds were very comfortable and one bedroom has a fantastic view of the sunrise! We enjoyed our stay immensely!!

We had a wonderful stay! David was a great host. We had our dogs Cal and Mable along for the trip. Cal and Mable made a new friend Davids dog Jack. Jack was such a sweetheart. Good times were made playing in the lake and sitting around the campfire. I highly recommend.

This was definitely one of the best Airbnbs we have stayed in. Beautiful home, well stocked kitchen, very spacious and spotless. And Dale and Donna were quick to respond to any questions. My family loved staying at this pristine and well-equipped home. The house was absolutely spotless, beautifully decorated, and had lots of places for us to relax and socialize. Amazing place to stay in Duluth. Easy access to Canal Park and scenic walk to the lighthouse. So much to do within short driving distance as well. Restaurants and food located in the area. I would definitely stay here again!

What you see in the pics is what you get, plus a lot of extras. All you need is there. Great communication with the host, she replace in few minutes. The apartment is nice, comfy and with good taste decoration. Nice balcony. Kitchen full equipped. I will be back, we had a great time with our granddaughter, her room offered privacy (that is number 1 concern for teens). Thank you Billie, we had a great vacation at your place.

The accommodations exceeded my expectations. It was even better in person. The amenities (toiletries, towels, sheets, bathrobes) were worthy of a 5 star hotel. The view of Lake Superior was beautiful! It was fun to be able to look south and see Canal Park and downtown Duluth. Just a block away from biking/walking Lakewalk trail that goes all the way to Canal Park! Grocery store a block away. The only thing that detracted from it at all was being on the main road from Duluth to the North Shore. I didn't pay attention to that when I booked. There is a fair amount of road noise all day long and even sometimes at night. If you're a light sleeper it might be a problem. However it's worth it to bring ear plugs and crank up the fan that's available in the bedroom to drown out the noise!

Great spot in Duluth! Unique in its location on the beach yet close to everything to do - great food/drink options. Apartment is private and very comfortable - would recommend!

I loved this place! It was exactly as advertised with solid amenities and no clutter getting in my way. The location was great and it was very peaceful there. There was sound from the homeowners above, but only comforting homey sounds. I enjoyed watching the deer out the windows. The small kitchen was well organized and easy to cook and clean up. Overall a great place to stay. I definitely recommend.

This was a wonderful place to stay! We came for Grandma's marathon and had a great experience. Jennifer & Jason reached out prior to our stay to make sure we had everything we needed and provided very helpful alternate routes to get us into Duluth. The house was very close to the race and we had fun cheering the marathoner's on (after my husband and daughter finished the 1/2). The gift basket was an extremely generous and thoughtful touch. We would definitely recommend this as a place to stay!

Highly recommended. Carl is a super friendly and responsive host. The property is very well done. It has everything you need and nothing you don’t! I liked being able to walk to the downtown area. We didn’t rent a car and didn’t need one. Lake Superior is super moody and the weather can change in minute, so it is nice to be so close to the beach. You can watch the lake through the beautiful picture window in the living room and pick your time to go down and enjoy the beach. I really hope that we are able to come back to this place. We had a great time in the rental and it suited our situation to near perfection. Everytime we needed something from the host they were quick to reply and help. The rental provides close access to downtown Duluth and ple ty of shopping areas, as well as to the other neighboring towns. The location overlooks the city and the lake and we had no issues walking our pets around the area.

Beautiful and well maintained condo. Met all of our needs. Only downside was the parking in the area, but the host was accommodating with this issue.

It is quiet, comfortable place to stay. Perfect for a girls weekend! It’s a 0.5 mile walk from downtown and centrally located in regard to other attractions. Would stay here again.

This is a perfect location and a very nice place. Very good brewery on the first floor. Everything is walkable in canal park. Very kid friendly but I could see how it could be a romantic getaway as well. I would stay here again.

Book it!! The condo is clean, spacious and had everything we needed for an extended weekend stay with kids, plus the view is beautiful. Alyssa has created a guide that provides pertinent information about the condo and surrounding area, and was quick to respond to the few questions we did have. What a gem!

My family absolutely loved our stay here. Everything was walkable or a very short drive, but still had a sense of privacy. The views of the lake and city are gorgeous. The place had everything you could need for your stay, including toys for kids (a big hit for us). It really felt like home away from home. Alyssa was a great host with timely communication and clear instructions. Highly recommend if staying in Duluth!

Great place to stay! I came up to Duluth for a work convention and brought my family with. There was lots of room to spread out. We loved the vibe, the views from the deck and upper level bedroom were awesome! My kids liked the toys and games they found in the kids area below the steps. It was a close drive to canal park and downtown Duluth. I would definitely recommend this place and hope to stay here again!!!
