House holiday rentals in Downtown, Durham

Our family stayed at Robin's place for my daughter's graduation from Duke. It was a perfect spot. We all felt at home. It was private and comfortable and only a short ride to the university. Great find!

This was such a great trip! Ken’s place was beautiful! Was just like the pictures and very clean! My boyfriend and I absolutely loved it and would definitely stay here again!

A lovely home in a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood, a great place to relax after a busy day of work or play. Brad was very attentive to any concerns that may have come up, and provided some great suggestions of activities and places to eat in the welcome guide. Laundry on site made my extended stay feel more like home, and the fireflies at night were a nostalgic touch. 10/10 would stay again!

My group enjoyed our stay at Brad’s place. Check in was smooth and easy. The home was very clean and nice. There were also lots of towels, wash clothes, and linens for our group.

My stay at the cottage was better than I could have hoped! I think the description somewhat undersells the home, with its original wood, multiple fireplaces, and cozy charm. The home was peaceful, but centrally located enough to make walking into town very easy. Sarah was communicative, friendly, and helpful. Would absolutely recommend a stay here! My only note would be for taller individuals--given it's an older building there is not a ton of head clearance, particularly in the bedroom.

Yuan was an amazing host super accommodating with my last-minute booking after our original plans fell through. After a quick conversation, he had no problem with us bringing pets, which was a huge relief. The home was clean, in a quiet, lovely neighborhood, and bonus there’s a pool! Highly recommend.

The house was great! My kids love the pool and the location was super convenient to lots of restaurants. Dalia was super responsive and friendly!

My family of 7 stayed here over Easter weekend and enjoyed this house very much. Lots of room to spread out, a well stocked kitchen to cook in and lots to walk to in the area. There are trains that run occasionally so it can be a bit noisy but Brad provides white noise machines in the bedrooms ( we personally did not use them). Brad is a great host and responds quickly to questions!

The unit was very clean and well-appointed, equipped with everything you might need. For a short-term stay. The location is convenient, in walking distance to town. The owner was appropriately communicative, and check in was easy. We were very satisfied.

The house was clean, well-stocked with everything we needed, and perfectly situated in a fantastic location—easily walkable to downtown Durham and all it has to offer. It was the ideal spot for our small group, providing both comfort and convenience. Cosmo was incredibly clear and easy to work with, making the entire process seamless from start to finish. His thoughtful communication and attention to detail made us feel truly welcomed. If you're looking for a stress-free, comfortable, and well-equipped stay in Durham, this is the place to book! Excellent value in a downtown Durham location. Four full-size bedrooms and a great kitchen and dining room for group dinners. Noisy street meant it might not be ideal for working remotely or young children but was great for a group of friends hanging out for the weekend.

We had a wonderful stay at Glenda’s Airbnb! The space was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The backyard was a huge bonus, perfect for our dogs to run around and enjoy. Glenda was a fantastic host, and we’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, pet-friendly stay!

great place. a little smaller than the photos look but they always are. most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in and wonderfully soft sheets.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was the perfect space for an intimate gathering in celebration of my fiancé’s 30th. The modern design, spacious layout, and beautiful backyard made it feel both comfortable and special. Everything was clean and thoughtfully set up, exactly what we needed for a memorable weekend. We’d absolutely stay again.

Other than the yard needing a little trim it was a great stay and he was responsive with any question I had! Good location and peaceful neighborhood I was able to walk my dog around, lots of dog friendly bars close by.

Loved our stay at Villa Pinea. We are MCM lovers and this home is a perfect time capsule. The design and furniture are super livable and beautiful. The space is perfect for a long stay. There are spaces for work, rest and hanging out. The kitchen has everything and the listing is well stocked with all you need for coffee or big dinner. During the day, the house is serene and peaceful with views of nature from every window. At night you will be joined by all the sounds of nature including frogs and an occasional screech owl. This is a great place for rest and relaxation and Durham/ Chapel Hill are both 10 minutes away.

Jesse's place was wonderful for our stay. We stayed here for a week and felt right at home. We were able to walk to a quick breakfast just a block away, grocery options two blocks away, and an easy walk downtown in the evening. We even hopped on the fare-free public bus for one trip. The house is easy to use, and having access to the washer/dryer is a definite plus. Having labels on all of the light switches was a convenience that we hadn't seen at other rentals before. We especially liked sitting on the porch with morning coffee. At times the neighborhood noise was a bit loud, but some of that will be lessened once the construction next door is done, so that isn't an inherent issue with the rental. Overall Jesse's place was great and his responsiveness along the way was really appreciated. Durham was a lot of fun for us during our stay (both for work and for fun), and we would rent here again in a heartbeat next time around.

We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to others. Easy walk to Duke East Campus and 9th Street. Everything was exactly as described and Susan was very easy to work with.

Stacy's place is exactly as pictured and advertised. It's chic and beautifully decorated. I was with two friends, and we were all pleased that each bedroom had a king bed and TV. We each felt like we had a master bedroom! The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed, and there's a pantry plus plenty of storage, should you have coolers and such you want to keep out of the way. This was a comfortable and attractive home away from home for the weekend, and Stacy was an accommodating and proactive host.
